Abstract

ABSTRACTImproper handling of management systems and quickly increase mortality in head injuries. Triage assessment can reduce the risk of death. However, triage is at risk of undertriage which can increase mortality. A more detailed assessment system is needed, so Revised trauma score (RTS) can be used to minimize undertriage. The purpose of this study is to analyze the triage assessment and RTS assessment in predicting mortality in cases of head trauma. The study design was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. The population was all head trauma patients in the emergency room at Jombang Regional Hospital with 121 patients. The sample consisted of 89 respondents taken using Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used observation sheets. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test with a significance level of p <α (α = 0.05). The results of the triage and mortality assessment show a significance value of p = 0.00 (p <α), meaning that there is a relationship between the triage assessment and mortality. While the RTS assessment shows a significance value of p = 0.00 (p <α) so that, it means that there is a relationship between RTS assessment and mortality. Triage assessment can speed up the handling of head trauma and RTS can know the physiological status so as to determine an accurate action. Both triage assessment and RTS can predict mortality risk in head injuries. Keywords: Head trauma, triage, Revised Trauma Score (RTS), mortalitas.

The activities that support the management of DM well is with self care behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of self care behavior on the value of ankle barkhial index (ABI). The research design used was analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all patients of DM in Unit Disease In RSUD Jombang as many as 100 respondents. The sample size is 60 respondents using simple random sampling technique. This research instrument uses self care inventory revised version and ABI SOP questionnaire. Data analysis using spearman rank test statistic. The result of the research is mostly (75%) of respondents of Self Care Behavior of DM patient is high of 45 respondents, almost all (76,6%) no complication of DM number 46  respondents, statistic test obtained p = 0,000, and r = 0,948. It shows that P <a (0,05), meaning there is influence Self Care Behavior to nili ABI, with very strong correlation coefficient. The better the DM patients do Self Care Behavior the smaller the complications that occur. The importance of self-care behavior will control blood sugar levels in the body so as to prevent the possibility of complications of DM.  Keywords: Self Care Behavior, diabetes, ABI

Abstract

Abstract Pregnancy is a time when there is a fetus in a woman's womb which occurs because of the fertilization process after the meeting of the sperm and egg cells. COVID-19 has become the main pathogen of an emerging respiratory disease outbreak. They are members of this large family of viruses that can cause respiratory, enteric, liver and neurological diseases in a wide variety of animal species, including camels, cattle, cats and bats. To date, seven human CoV (HCV) - capable of infecting humans have been identified. Thus, a pregnant woman needs more nutrition or nutrition than normal conditions to meet the health of the pregnant woman herself and the baby she is still carrying with the current Covid-19 pandemic. This literature study uses the method of collecting data from computerized database tracking / systematic search studies (Pubmed, BMC, Cochrain review and Google Scholar), in the form of research journals and review articles. Micronutrients are one of these immune supplements, and their efficacy has been shown with other viral infections. The population in this study were 171 respondents and 108 respondents, using simple random sampling technique. The independent variables of this research are health education and dependent variables are personal hygiene knowledge. The research instrument using questioner, the data were analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test with α ≤ 0,05. Wilcoxon test result in treatment group was p = 0.000 and control group p = 0,083. Mann Whitney test results obtained p = 0,000 (p <α). The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of health education on personal knowledge of menstrual hygiene and there is a significant difference in personal knowledge of menstrual hygiene in the treatment group and control group. Effective health education increases personal knowledge of Menstrual Hygiene. Keywords : Health Education, Knowledge, Personal Hygiene, Menstruation

Abstract

Abstract Hyperglycemia that occurs in people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) can have an impact on damage to small blood vessels, if in the long term it will cause neuropathy and disturbances in important organs in the body. Efforts that can be made to lower blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus are by utilizing the crown of gods herbal plants, the alkaloid content in the crown of gods can reduce blood glucose by inhibiting glucose absorption in the intestine, increasing glucose transport in the blood, stimulating glycogen synthesis and inhibiting glucose synthesis. and increase glucose oxidation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving the crown of gods (Phaleria macrocarpa) on the blood glucose of diabetic mice. The research method was carried out by literature review by searching published journals online through the PubMed, ProQuest, Scholar and Sinta databases that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the review of eleven reputable journals showed that the extract of the Dewa's Crown had a positive effect on reducing blood glucose levels. In the extract of the god's crown on the skin and flesh of the fruit, it contains saponins, flavonoids, alloxan compounds, and mineral or other compounds that can reduce glucose levels in the blood. Saponins and alloxans can reduce blood glucose levels by stimulating pancreatic ß cells so that insulin secretion increases and glucose decreases, and flavonoids are protective against damage to ß cells as insulin producers and can increase insulin sensitivity. Flavonoids are also helpful in regenerating islet cells of Langerhans. KeyWord : Phaleria Macrocarpa, Hiperglicemi, Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract  Thalassemia is a chronic descent disease, where clients with thalassemia will experience a continuous decrease in Hb. This condition causes thalassemia clients to undergo regular hospitalization to obtain blood transfusions. Currently, tansfusion is the best treatment of thalassemia. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. The researcher chose the research sample with the sampling quota. Researchers perform nursing care on 2 clients thalasemia who are undergoing inpatient at RSUD Jombang. The results show that the priority problem in thalassemia clients is peripheral tissue perfusion ineffectiveness. This problem occurs because the decrease in client Hb levels that cause oxygen supply to the entire body tissue is disrupted. The examination results on both clients showed low Hb levels. Implementations performed for both clients are: observation of vital signs, including capillary refill observation (CRT), blood transfusion administration, nutrition and activity settings. The results of evaluation on clients 1 and 2 found that in addition to transfusion of nutrition and activity management is also very necessary in clients with thalassemia, so it is important that health education given to his family Keywords: nursing care, thalassemia, peripheral tissue perfusion effectiveness

Counseling treatment of respondents using the module. The statistical tests used were paired t-test and independent t-test. The test results showed that the treatment group was 0.000 and the control group was 0.104. Correlation coefficient 0.600. The independent t test value of 0.001 means that there is a difference in the average number of self-stigma in the treatment group and the average in the control group after counseling. Counseling with Lawrence Green's theoretical approach can reduce self-stigma so that HIV/AIDS patients think positively about themselves, do not withdraw from the environment and are willing to behave in therapy for their own healing. Keywords: self stigma, HIV/AIDS, counseling, lawrence green
