Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. The bulletin encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in Islamic guidance and counseling including: managing of guidance and counseling. Assessment in counseling, Islamic counseling, Islamic theraphy, career development, personal and social development and academic development. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Abstract

This paper describes the method used or the way school counselor in providing assistance to students to determine the choice of the appropriate working with children who have mental handicaped so being able to prepare for entry into the environment work. The child's mental handicaped was the son who experience barriers on intellectual property. Education that may lead students to develop skills so that students can do the Polytechnic things independently after graduation from school. SLB Negeri Pembina Yogyakarta has the training program been ISO-standard skills, so being able to be used as another example of SLB. Education skills given to mental retardation, in addition to functioning selective, educative, therapist and creative can also serve as a provision of his life. Career guidance has a very important role for the sustainability of future students not only mental retardation as a container that is in charge of connecting students to be able to plan the future but can also be referring to the success of the child's mental handicaped entered the world of work. There are several methods in order to make a career of students mental handicaped can be guided by the method in groups, field trips, career day, exercise work (internship), demonstrations, experiments, and curricular activities. While individually i.e. career counseling and home visit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach to reduce behavior towards children who are addicted to online games. The subjects in this study were 12 students who were members of the experimental group. The 12 students consisted of 2 children in class IV, 2 children in class V and 2 children in class VI, which were divided into 2 groups, namely a group in the medium category playing online games consisting of 6 students and a group in the category of online game addiction consisting of 6 student. Characteristics of the subjects include: (1) Individuals who are 10 years to 13 years old are students in grades IV, V and VI SD N Jumeneng, (2) students who have grades 4 and 5 from the subject matter questionnaire, (3) are willing to become respondents or subjects this research. The experimental group was treated using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach for 3 meetings and each meeting of 120 minutes was divided into 3 sessions. The design used is one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection in this study was carried out using a scale of online game addiction compiled by researchers. The data analysis method used is nonparametric statistics using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks technique to test the different scores of the two paired samples, the pre-test and post-test data in the experimental group. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks results show that the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach is effective for reducing online game addiction. Both have the same Z and P values, namely z = -2.201 and p = 0.028.

Abstract

This article is intended to describe the management of the implementation of counseling and guidance in vocational secondary schools. All data are revealed by using the techniques of observation and interview against informants that have data sources that are widely associated with the management of the implementation of counseling and guidance  In vocational secondary schools, namely the school counselor and some teachers that helps the implementation of counseling and guidance at SMK Negeri I Ponorogo. The results of the descriptive analysis against the management of the implementation of counseling and guidance at SMK Negeri I Ponorogo can be classified in three parts; First, program planning counseling and guidance. Counseling and guidance programs that have been developed at SMK Negeri I Ponorogo has standard and done professionally, because it has been through the planning mechanism, feasibility study, consulting programs and socialization of execution the program. Second, the implementation of a program management counseling and guidance. Implementation of management counseling and guidance at SMK Negeri I Badegan has been done correctly, because it already includes the target learners and stakeholders with system administration and reporting are complete, ranging from program daily, weekly, on a monthly, semiannual and annual, though the supporting facilities and infrastructure facilities is still very minimal. Third, organizational and human resources personnel of counseling and guidance. The conditions of organization and personnel still to be developed, since technically the amount one person concurrently coordinator of counseling and guidance staff assisted with one person taken from teachers of subjects, so haven't been able to provide services maximum, because the comparative number were one teacher with 1200 students.

Abstract

BK teacher as a counselor figure who is a source of help for counselee problems, as well as student self-development media as counselees. Always be demanded by professionals and update their knowledge and competence to be able to carry out their duties properly, and the goals of guidance and counseling are achieved. But unfortunately the real conditions in the field, there are still many BK teachers who have not reinforced these aspects. So it is less able to balance its performance with the development of science and technology. Whereas technology as a result of knowledge becomes a very important media in the implementation of guidance and counseling services. The purpose of this study is to describe the various forms of media technology used by BK teachers, and what technologies are most commonly used, as well as what factors are obstacles and supporters of the use of media technology in the implementation of guidance and counseling in schools. The four subjects involved were chosen purposively, namely two counselors and two students. The data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. As a result, the media used in guidance and counseling services include human-based media, print technology-based media, visual-based media, audio-visual media and computer-based media. While the use of technology media in guidance and counseling has not been maximized, it only uses three types of hardware and one type of software. The hardware used is only mobile phones, laptops and LCD projectors. Whereas the BK program application in the form of software only uses the sociometry application program. And inhibiting factors in the use of media technology guidance and counseling, among other things in the form of internal and external factors. The internal factor is the capacity of the BK teacher. Where the BK teacher's competence in the development of media technology is still lacking. While external factors that become obstacles are the limited number of BK personnel (unbalanced ratio between BK personnel and the number of students), then the existing facilities and infrastructure facilities still do not meet the ideal BK service standards. Then the lack of good system support from the school, such as the absence of efforts to increase the ability of BK personnel by training their ability in mastering technology.

Abstract

Adanya saling keterkaitan antara faktor pembawaan dan lingkungan, serta antar berbagai aspek perkembangan perlu menjadi khasanah pemahaman konselor dalam menghadapi sasaran layanannya sebagai dasar upaya diagnosis, prognosis, dan pemberian bantuan bagi siswa. Bimbingan pribadi-sosial merupakan salah satu pilihan layanan dalam pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan konseling untuk self-efficacy siswa dalam membantu menentukan dan mengembangkan dirinya secara optimal dan mandiri sesuai dengan kewajibannya sebagai makhluk Tuhan.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitiankualitatif-kuantitatif. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mendiskripsikan pelakasanaan bimbingan pribadi-sosial siswa SMK Diponegoro,  Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta dan mendiskripsikan bimbingan pribadi-sosial untuk pengembangan self-efficacy tinggi dan penguatan self-efficacy rendah pada siswa di SMK Diponegoro, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 guru bimbingan konseling, wali kelas, dan siswa kelas X PTSM. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, skala,dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan pribadi-sosial terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Bentuk pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan pribadi-sosial di SMK Diponegoro dengan metode tidak langsung meliputi bimbingan klasikal, kolaborasi dengan wali kelas, kunjungan rumah, IKMS, dan papan bimbingan. Adapun materi yang disampaikan meliputi motivasi, percaya diri, harga diri, penyesuaian diri, dan mengontrol emosi. Bentuk pelaksanaan dengan metode langsung meliputi bimbingan individual, bimbingan kelompok, dan konseling individu. Bimbingan pribadi-sosial untuk pengembangan dan penguatan self-efficacy siswa mendapatkan respon baik dengan nilai rata-rata 86,7.

Abstract

Seeing the current phenomenon that is very easily contaminated with the flow of technology that is so fast, making teenage turmoil toward negative things that lead to poor learning motivation. Most learning motivation is influenced by extrinsic factors such as the environment and the atmosphere around it. therefore there needs to be various efforts to motivate adolescents as millennial communities whose conditions are still vulnerable and have a lot to learn. One of them can be through related research, such as this article which indeed reviews the phenomenon. At least offer one alternative, namely bibliotherapy in increasing adolescent learning motivation. This article describes the findings in the field that bibliotherapy can increase adolescent learning motivation, through the stages of identification, selection, presentation and follow-up. The setting of data collection conducted through observation, interviews and documentation is one of the Community Reading Gardens in Yogykarta, namely the Nologaten Smart Cakruk. By involving five informants. Starting from the coaches and teenagers who often interact with Smart Cakruk TBM.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini ialah setelah melihat cukup banyak siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri yang merasa kesulitan untuk memilih jurusan ke perguruan tinggi. Pertama, kesulitan ini terjadi kerena siswa belum mengetahui bakat, minat, dan kemampuan yang dimiliki. Kedua, ditemukan keinginan siswa bertentangan dengan keinginan orangtua terhadap jurusan yang akan dipilih. Ketiga, siswa ingin melanjutkan ke perguruan tinggi namun terhalang oleh biaya atau ekonomi keluarga. Oleh sebab itu pentingnya bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling memberikan bantuan kepada siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah memilih jurusan ke perguruan tinggi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk pemberian bantuan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling kepada siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah memilih jurusan ke perguruan tinggi agar sesuai dengan bakat, minat dan potensi yang dimiliki pada siswa kelas XII tahun ajaran 2015/2016 di SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu seorang guru bimbingan dan konseling dan tujuh siswa dari masing-masing kelas XII. Metode pengumpulan datanya  adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriftif kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa bentuk pemberian bantuan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling kepada siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah memilih jurusan ke perguruan tinggi agar sesuai dengan bakat, minat dan potensi yang dimiliki pada siswa kelas XII tahun ajaran 2015/2016 di SMA Negeri 1 Imogiri terdapat tiga bentuk layanan, yaitu pertama layanan informasi adalah layanan yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada siswa tentang jurusan yang ada di perguruan tinggi. Kedua, layanan penempatan dan penyaluran adalah layanan yang dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling dengan memberikan pengarahan kepada siswa untuk dapat menyalurkan dan menempatkan diri pada bakat, minat dan potensi yang tepat. Ketiga, layanan konseling individu adalah layanan yang dilakukan oleh seorang guru bimbingan dan konseling kepada seorang siswa yang membutuhkan bimbingan secara tatap muka langsung dalam mengatasi permasalahan memilih jurusan ke perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

One of the activities in the series of law enforcement system activities is carried out by the Balai Pemrakrakatan (BAPAS) which is part of the prison system of criminal prison system or sub-system of justice. However, the existence and role of the Penitentiary (BAPAS) is often ignored or even unknown to other sub-systems in the legal system in Indonesia. In this study the approach used by researchers is a qualitative / naturalistic approach with the source of the data taken from information and interviews with the head of BAPAS, community supervisors and parole clients in the Cirebon Class I Correctional Center. While the data collection techniques are through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. From the results of interviews with the head of the Cirebon Class I BAPAS, community supervisors and parole clients, produced a research result that the guidance and counseling carried out by the Cirebon Class I BAPAS could be said to be quite good or could run effectively. Although still finding various obstacles, among others; the reach of the working area is too broad, the availability of the quantity of Community Guidance HR is still lacking, the lack of budget, the lack of technical training that is carried out, the lack of infrastructure facilities that support the implementation of guidance and still not optimal support from the community. The conclusion of this study shows that the level of effectiveness of the implementation of guidance on parole clients in realizing social reintegration has been running effectively, both by the way clients come directly to BAPAS and community supervisors who directly meet each client's home (home visit).
