Al-Isyraq: Jurnal Bimbingan, Penyuluhan, dan Konseling Islam is a scientific journal, serves as a forum for publishing the original research articles related to Islamic guidance and counseling. The bulletin encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, short communications and scientific commentaries in Islamic guidance and counseling including: managing of guidance and counseling. Assessment in counseling, Islamic counseling, Islamic theraphy, career development, personal and social development and academic development. All papers submitted to the journal should be written in English or Indonesian. The work should not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

Abstract

Society that is troubled by the COVID-19 outbreak that has swept the world today has a profound influence on people's lives, not least for students who have to undergo a period of quarantine and experience high anxiety which impacts on their spirituality. This study aims to determine the forms of spirituality of students with ODP status and currently undergoing quarantine in overcoming anxiety experienced by these students. This research uses a qualitative research method of phenomenology type. The results showed that the spiritual forms experienced by the ODP undergoing quarantine were trusting in God by increasing compulsory worship and sunah, searching for meaning, mindfulness by carrying out ha breathing, remembrance, and reading the Qur'an, and feeling safe because of undergoing the educational quarantine process. Other than, Forms of spiritual communication carried out by the subject are thaharah, syahadat, shalat, tawakkal, thanksgiving, patience, and repentance.

Abstract

Several studies have shown that people with mental disorders are often not treated specifically by their families as they should, so family therapy is needed to deal with this. This research is a study conducted to find out whether the use of family therapy based on social support theory can be used to help families in dealing with people with mental disorders. This research is a qualitative research, in which the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely research with a case study method or approach that focuses intensively on a family that has family member with mental disorders, namely acute polymorphic psychotic disorders without schizophrenia symptoms. The results found are that family therapy using social support theory can help families in dealing with family member with mental disorder.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student learning motivation by using the Punakawan board games. The scope is based on the findings of preliminary studies related to student motivation to decline during the COVID-19 pandemic, students show a lazy attitude by not following lessons, rerely appear when Google Meet, always late because they are tight by signal, cannot understand and understand the material. Overall, the value decreases, the enthusiasm for learning drops dramatically, there is a sense of boredom because the learning delivered is monotonous, wasting games and resulting in decereased learning outcomes for some students. So, it is necessary to make innovative media board games to increase student motivation. The method used is Reseach and Development (Borg & Gall 1983). This research only reached the fifth stage of testing, namely expert testing. In this article, we come to br conclusion of the result from expert test and 1 user test for Guidance and Counseling teacher test, it shows a score of 81% which is in the percentage range or the categories suitable for use so that the development of the Punakawan board games is suitable to br used to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to present a more complete understanding of science philosophy of Islamic Guidance and Counseling by examining it from a philosophical point of view so that it deserves to be called an independent science. Islamic guidance and counseling as an independent science will be able to know what the object of study is, it can be verified, can be traced to the source and method of obtaining it, as well as visible ethics, aesthetics and benefits. This study seeks to find out the paradigm of science of BKI in Islamic Religious Higher Education (PTKI), more precisely the BKI Study Program which is under the auspices of the Da'wah Faculty at UIN, IAIN and STAIN and to see its position beside the BK Study Program at non-PTKI universities. This paper is the result of library research which explores data on the science of BKI from various sources, ranging from books, articles, journals and online media. The results of the study show that there are different paradigms in viewing the science of guidance and counseling between western scientists and Islam, where the truth of science in the west is determined by ratio and senses, while Islam rests its truth on revelation (Al-Qur'an and Hadith), which is also does not leave the findings of the ratio and senses.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific work made to meet the requirements of a student in completing an undergraduate program. In short, according to some literature emotional maturity is the ability to think realistically, can accept all the facts that exist in him, be able to channel his energy well, and be able to control his emotions well. The purpose of this research is to find out about the importance of emotional maturity for final year students in completing their thesis. This research is also expected to provide benefits in the future, can be used as reference material for further research, and can help the public and students to find out about the importance of having stable or high emotional maturity. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of literatur research (library), or better known as library research. From the results of these studies it can be concluded that emotional maturity is very much needed for students who are at the final level in doing thesis writing assignments.
