Abstract

The effect of work motivation, environment work and principal leadership to the teacher performance in SMAN Ambulu. There are three problems in this research. They are 1) The work motivation effect partially to the teacher performance; 2) The work environment effect partially to the teacher performance; 3) The principal leadership affect partially to the teacher performance. The population used in this research were all of the teachers of SMAN Ambulu that consist of 56 teachers. The sum of sample needed in this research were 40 teachers. The data analysis method used experiment of doubled linier regression by using Microsoft Excel and SPSS program. The result of the research and data analysis shows that 1) the work motivation affect partially to the teacher’s performance significantly. The significant value of statistical variable work motivation is 0,02. So, its significant value is smaller than 0,05 or 0,002 < 0,05. 2) work environment affect partially to the teacher performance significant. The significant value of statistical variable work environment 0,000. So, its significant value is smaller than 0,05 or 0,000< 0,05. 3) The significant value of statistical variable of the principal leadership is 0,000. So, its significant value is smaller than 0,05 or 0,000< 0,05. The conclusion is that work motivation, work environment and the principal’s leadership can increase their performance significantly. Supervision is one form of attention of the principal to the teacher in addition of giving rewards that can foster motivation of achievement that will give effect to the performance of teachers. If it supported by a leadership style, it will be able to improve teacher performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of supervision, achievement motivation and reward on the performance of teachers and the influence of moderation leadership style on supervision, achievement motivation and reward on teacher performance. This research is a survey research conducted in Al Baitul Amien 02 Jember elementary school with sampling technique using total sampling technique, so that the sample obtained 40 respondents. Hypotheses were tested using multiple linear regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that supervision, achievement motivation and reward on teacher performance either simultaneously or partially. Leadership style has not been able to moderate the influence of supervision, achievement motivation and reward on teacher performance. Abstract

This research was conducted with the purpose of knowing and analyzing the leadership, cultural work and motivation which have a significant effect on the Performance of Field Agricultural Extension in Agriculture Service of Bondowoso regency partially and simultaneously and to know the dominant variable influencing the performance of Field Agricultural Extension in Agriculture Service of Bondowoso regency. The object of this research is Field Agricultural Extension in Agriculture Service of Bondowoso regency which is 69 people. This research uses quantitative research. As an independent variable namely leadership (X1), work culture (X2) and motivation (X3) and the dependent variable is Performance (Y). Data analysis used is validity and reliability test, multiple regression assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that leadership, work culture had a significant partial effect while motivation did not have a significant partial effect, leadership, work culture and motivation simultaneously had a significant effect on the performance of field agriculture instructors. With the largest leadership regression coefficient, it can be concluded that the leadership variable has a dominant influence on the performance of field agricultural extension workers. The result of the determination coefficient (R2) is 0.662 (66.2%). So the performance of field agricultural extension workers in the Agriculture Service of Bondowoso regency is influenced by the three independent variables at 66.2% while the remaining 33.8% is influenced by other variables outside the research Keywords: Leadership, Work Culture, Motivation, Performance

Abstract

Abstract: One problem often encountered by management in the shipping industry companies in Indonesia are financial problems, because it collided with the availability of working capital which the company cannot be operated because the funds will be used for the purchase of raw materials and to give employees salary. This research analyzes the influence of financial condition consisting of working capital, asset structure, operating leverage, and sales growth on the firm profitability as well as on its non financial performance of ship building companies in Indonesia. By employing the multiple regression, the result of the estimation showed that among those variables underlined, working capital, asset structure, and sales growth proved to be significantly affecting the firm profitability and its nonfinancial performance, meanwhile the operating leverage has been proved non-significant. This research concludes that the management should pay more attention on working capital and the asset structure being the predominant variable, besides its asset structure and the sales growth, affecting the ship building companies performance in Indonesia. Shipping companies can grow and expand. To be able to increase profitability by increasing the shipping company's own capital and reducing a portion of the shipping company, the more active equity and profitability will also be good. On the other hand if it continues to rely on capital from outside, it will cause emergence of interest expense to be borne by the shipping company. This research was explanatory survey research. The population of the research was the whole teacher of SMA Negeri 1 Cluring, Banyuwangi totaling 39 teachers. The sample used was 31 teachers, chosen by purposive sampling technique. The preparation of the instrument was made in the form of a questionnaire, with a scale of 1-5 answers, consisting of 37 items. The instrument items used to collect data are those that meet the requirements of construct analysis and have valid status. Its reliability is calculated by the Cronbach's Alpha technique. Data collection methods used in this research were observation, interview, questionnaire, and through documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of research and analysis of the data, it showed that the principal managerial competence, motivation and work discipline influenced to the teacher performance significantly both partially and simultaneously. Test results partially were evidenced by the significant value to the variable of the managerial competence that was 0.048, then the significant value of motivation variable was 0.014 and for work discipline was 0.016. So the amount of significance value was smaller than 0.05. The results of the test simultaneously were demonstrated by the value of the principal managerial competence, motivation and work discipline to the teacher performance that was 0.000. Therefore, the significance value was smaller than 0.05. Keywords: The Principal Managerial Competence, Motivation, Work Discipline, Teacher Performance
