Abstract

Techniques and methods of cost control and project schedule that quickly reveals the deviation is by using analysis of variance and earned value concept. Using the applications such as Microsoft Access program to support the control techniques is required. But how to apply Microsoft Access in the control of construction projects with the calculation method of analysis of variance and earned value concept, so as to provide information on the implementation of the project quickly and accurately. The purpose of this study was to plan a construction project control method by using analysis of variance and earned value concept  through the application of Microsoft Access. Data required in this plan is secondary data in the Budget Plan, time schedule, and report project progress every week. The data obtained will then be categorized based on indicators BCWP (Budgeted Cost of Work Performed) and BCWS (Budgeted Cost of Work Schedule) for each work item, whereas for indicators ACWP (Actualt Cost of Work Performed) is assumed to be based on the percentage of profit to be used. The data are entered into a Microsoft Access program that can be known variance and variance cost and schedule performance index cost and schedule performance index, the remaining cost estimates and total cost estimates. The result achieved is a software application that presents information about the project progress report every week. There are 6 weeks the value of cost variance (CV) is positive and schedule variance (SV) is zero, 13 weeks for the value of schedule variance (SV) is positive and cost variance (CV) is positive, 3 weeks to schedule variance (SV) is negative cost variance ( CV) is positive and 14 weeks for schedule variance (SV) is negative and cost variance (CV) is negative.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is the comparison of asphalt content of extracted results on the mixture (AC-BC) in accordance with the 2010 revision of the reflex 3. The method used in this study by extraction using a centrifuge extractor on three specimens of test specimens derived from AMP , The asphalt finisher blend of asphalt from the back of the Asphalt Finisher machine and the compaction result taken using Coredrill using a pertaline solvent. This research includes testing of asphalt content before and after Ektraksi. Based on the results of research The percentage of asphalt extraction results from the 6 test objects from each sample obtained the average value of AMP, finisher, and coredrill is 5.60%, 5.58%, 5.49%. Based on the results of the study Comparison of extraction rate by using a solvent of pertalite, from extraction test of Asphalt Mixing Plant asphalt content, Asphalt Finisher, Coredrill asphalt value decreasing from JMF. So that can be made formulation KA Job Mix Formula (JMF) = KA Asphalt Mixing Plant (AMP)> KA when overlaying> KA core. Average: 5.60% ≧ 5.60%> 5.58%> 5.49%. The extraction results are far from the minimum tolerance threshold of the mixture according to Binamarga 2010 2010 revision 3 (three) specifications. Therefore, this study may also support the statement on the Binamarga 2010 revision 3 (three) specification which states core test should not be used for extraction testing.

Abstract

Design of buildings should pay attention to aspects; Strength, comfort, economics, and aesthetics. One aspect of the aesthetic that is often seen is the rain water pipeline from the roof to the channel on the ground. In order for this pipe is not be seen from the outside, it can be done by aasembling into thecore of the column so that it looks beautiful. To know the effect of hole in the column, need to do research. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of the variation of the size of the longitudinal aperture in the cylindrical specimen against the compressive strength of the concrete. The number of specimen  were 20 pieces, consisting of 15 pieces of specimens given pipe holes and 5 pieces are not given a hole (intact). Variations of hole size, namely: 2.5 cm, 5 cm and 7.5 cm. Each variation of hole size of specimen 5 pieces. Concrete mixture design is done based on ACI method. The specimens used in this research are cylindrical shape specimens with diameter 15 cm and height 30 cm. Testing of concrete compression done at age 28 days. The test of the specimen is carried out by giving the compression load slowly until the specimen failured. The test results obtained the compressive strength of the specimen without hole = 266.48 kg / cm2;  specimen with hole diameter 2.5 cm = 243,08 kg / cm2; specimen with hole diameter 5 cm = 226,22 kg / cm2; and specimen with hole diameter 7.5 cm = 190,13 kg / cm2. The results of this experiments show that the specimen with diameter of  hole 2.5 cm is 91% of the specimen without hole, the specimen with hole diameter 5 cm is 85% of the specimen without hole; and the specimen with hole diameter 7.5 cm is 71% of the specimen without hole. The results of this experimen show that the larger size of the hole in the column the smaller the compressive strength of the concrete compared to the specimen without holes.
