Abstract

The Value of Character Education in Novels in Tanah Lada by ZiggyZezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. This study aims to describe (1) the values of character educationand (2) the form of conveying the values of character education in the novel Tanah Lada byZiggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that analyzesthe values of character education and the form of delivery of character education values in thenovel in Tanah Lada by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. The results show that all the mainvalues of character education based on the Minister of Education and Culture Number 18 of2015 are contained in the novel in Tanah Lada by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie and theform of direct delivery of the value of character education in the novel in Tanah Lada usesmodalities (must, should) and claim clauses ( that means, it means) so that the moral messageto be conveyed can be directly identified. Meanwhile, to form this indirectly, you can enjoythe sentences contained in the novel.

Abstract

Analysis of the Use of Absorbed Vocabulary in Indonesian Language Textbook Class VII. This study aims to identify the form of vocabulary and types of absorption vocabulary used in textbooks. The type of research used is qualitative research by describing qualitative descriptive data. The data source of this research is Indonesian Class VII Textbook. Data collection techniques were carried out using reading techniques, note-taking techniques and inventory. The research instrument consisted of the main instrument, namely the researcher and the observation guide table. The results showed that absorption vocabulary in Indonesian textbooks for grade VII, based on absorption vocabulary in the form of adoption, adaptation and hybridization, types of absorption vocabulary were categorized as nouns, adjectives and verbs, there were several findings of absorption vocabulary from foreign and regional languages in Indonesia. Indonesian textbook for class VII. The use of vocabulary and regions tends to be more positioned as objects and in sentences in Indonesian class VII textbooks.

Abstract

The Influence of Imagination Suggestion Method with Islamic Song Media on Religious Poetry Writing Ability. This study aims to determine the effect of imagination suggestion on students' learning outcomes of writing religious poetry. This research is in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The results showed: (1) The average pretest of students' poetry writing was 73.95, and the average student's motivation was 22.66. (2) The posttest average of students' poetry writing was 81.39, and the average student's motivation was 30.61. (3) The results of hypothesis testing show Sig. 0.000 <0.05 for the data on the results of writing poetry, so that there is a significant effect of using the imagination suggestion method with Islamic songs on the learning outcomes of writing poetry.

Abstract

Development of Multiliteration-Based Exposition Text Teaching Materials in Junior High School. This study aims to develop multiliterate-based exposition text teaching materials for class VIII junior high school students. This research is a research that uses research and development type. The research design used is an adaptation of the Dick & Carey development model. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of qualitative and quantitative descriptive and expert test data analysis using Aiken's formula. The results of this study are in the form of products, namely teaching materials in the form of textbooks which are categorized as very feasible. (1) The development of multiliterate-based exposition text teaching materials for class VIII SMP and equivalent is very important to meet the material needs of students in the 21st century education era and to overcome the weaknesses of the teaching materials used. (2) Based on the assessments of 3 experts, the teaching materials in the form of multiliterate-based exposition text books for grade VIII junior high school students are in the very appropriate category.

Abstract

The use of diction in the food stall menu in Makassar. This study aims to: (1) describe the form of diction on the food stall menu list in Makassar, (2) describe the meaning of diction on the food stall menu list in Makassar, (3) describe the function of diction in the food stall menu list in Makassar. This type of research is qualitative research. The source of data in this study is the menu of a food stall in Makassar. The results of the study reveal the form of diction, types of meaning, and function of diction. The forms of diction used on food stalls in Makassar are basic words, affixes, reduplications, and compounding. There are nine types of meaning found in the use of diction in food stall menus in Makassar, namely lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, referential meaning, denotative meaning, connotative meaning, general meaning, special meaning, associative meaning, and idiomatical meaning. In addition, the diction function used on the food stall menu in Makassar, namely the function of providing information, the function of attraction, and the unique function.
