Abstract

Sasak Ende Tourism Village is a village that keeps a variety of cultural customs typical of the Sasak tribe (Lombok), where the local cultural customs are a state asset that deserves to be preserved, many people only know or don't know about the local cultural customs of the Sasak tribe ( Lombok), therefore we need a forum that can provide clearer information about the cultural customs of the Sasak tribe (Lombok). So that the researcher decided to make a media in the form of a visual book, in which the book contains images along with an explanation of the images, the use of simple words can make it easier for the audience to understand the contents of each attached page. The visual book "Sasak Ende Tourism Village" was designed with the Design Thinking method, which is a method that focuses on the target audience. Covering history, various buildings, customs and so on.

Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems in Indonesia including in West Nusa Tenggara which has become a global problem, garbage that has accumulated and is not properly processed or handled can cause environmental pollution. One way that can be done to overcome the problem of waste is separating waste according to its type (organic and inorganic), by doing 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and also by recycling waste. Currently the handling of waste recycling by the community has been carried out at the Waste Bank. The NTB Mandiri Garbage Bank is a container or place used to save waste, organic waste can be processed into compost while inorganic waste can be recycled into several handicraft items such as bags, tablecloths tables, wallets, key chains, and several other items made of plastic and used tires or other inorganic waste. This waste will later be saved in the form of money and rewarded according to its type. Therefore, a company profile video of the NTB MANDIRI Waste Bank will be designed to help introduce it to the community. Keywords - Video, Company Profile, Waste Bank

Abstract

Batu Kumbung touism village is a tourism village that was established in 2019.The development is quite good towards an independent tourism village, data shows that interest in visiting in 2020 is quite good, local residents increase the improvement of alternative living standards. BUMDesa and LPM Foundation by increasing the potential value of each area in Batu Kumbung. This research applied descriptive qualitative, all of the data obtained from informantsh have a Snowball character (still have a general character), observation has been done by the researcher in Batu Kumbung village to find some informants. Furthermore, the researcher conducted in-depth interview by using a semi-structured formation. Then, all of the documents are needed as the data, obtained from BUMDES, LPM, and Cultural Institution which exist in the village. The analysis used Schlegel theory about the Grounded Research Process. The result of the research found some efforts namely: the branding of Batu Kumbung tourism village did not change the existing potential, all the potential thing which are exist in the village have been repackaged into precious thing. Utilizing existing potential and showing the uniqueness of the village of Batu Kumbung provides more value as the tourism object.

Abstract

The activity of exploring messages and meanings in design work is an important part of understanding the concept of design thinking that is reflected in his work. Each message that is presented in the work is the essence of a design outside of the formalistic factors of form as can be seen by the eye. To explore more deeply about the essence of visual massage in design work, the authors use a collaborative method using semiotic science studies techniques that focus on the image of the visual element and the connotation meaning in it. The process of collecting data in this study starts from several important stages, such as observation, interviews, documentation to preparing a literature review. data analysis techniques in this paper, using several stages such as, collecting data, reducing data, analyzing and drawing conclusions. The semiotic study is the choice of analysis because the characteristics of the semiotic study are still relevant in interpreting the signs and meanings poured out by the designer in his work. The concept of the creation of three public service announcements is the study in this paper. Has the same concept in the effort to provide information, instructions and persuade the audience to re-view nature as an ecosystem that must be preserved and maintained, even though it uses different idioms

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been going on for a year and has claimed a lot of casualties, and until now positive cases have continued to increase to close to a thousand positive cases per day. To prevent transmission of this disease and reduce positive cases, the government through the Ministry of Health has made various educational efforts to the public in order to follow and comply with health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. While the purpose of this research is to find out how persuasive communication of PSAs in its efforts to educate the public through visual works in the form of banners, billboards and videos. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive case study, through data collection procedures in direct interviews with several respondents and spread questions in the form of questionnaires distributed on social media. From the analysis of research data, it was found that the behavior of the target audience towards PSAs was not very good, where some informants did not care about the education and persuasiveness of PSAs and most only cared about PSAs which contained sanctions if they did not follow government recommendations. the weakness is that the information on PSA advertisements is often less attractive, and tends to be monotonous and less maintenance-wise. Persuasive communication theory is Simulated Disinterest, which states that through this persuasion technique, persuader attempts to suppress feelings of anxiety and the attitude of forcing targets to follow their wishes. This theory is used in the making of public service advertisements in Figure 5. and this persuasive technique is thought to be able to attract attention and make the public willing to carry out an invitation from the government.
