Abstract

Heart is an important organ in the body that is useful as a blood pump with the aim of meeting the needs of oxygen and nutrients to the body. If the heart has impaired performance, blood flow in the body becomes abnormal and can lead to heart disease. The types of heart disease that commonly increase the death rate are coronary heart disease, heart valve disease, and heartbeat disorders (arrhythmia). In this case, there is a need for early detection in a complex manner through a high-accuracy system, namely an expert system. Expert systems contain detailed information about the disease being diagnosed. The Certainty Factor method is a certainty factor method that can overcome the uncertainty (inexact reasoning) of experts in making decisions based on disease symptoms and an interval scale of confidence in the symptoms given by system users. The application of the expert system begins with assembling a system involving the acquisition of knowledge sources explored from heart specialist experts. The analysis obtained on accommodating inexact reasoning on symptoms and the interval scale of the system user's confidence level for 5 test data based on the symptoms felt by the disease sufferer resulted in prediction accuracy for each type of heart disease where 90.46% coronary heart disease in the first test data, 80.76% arrhytmia in the second test data, 87.43% heart valve disease in the third test data, 93.12% coronary heart disease in the fourth test data, and 93.96% heart valve disease in the fifth test data. The application of the certainty factor method to the expert system produces appropriate prediction accuracy so that the expert system designed is effective for measuring certainty in diagnosis and it can be an alternative to early detection of several types of heart disease.

Abstract

Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) menjadi alat yang penting dalam memfasilitasi proses pengambilan keputusan yang efisien dan efektif. Salah satu contohnya adalah dalam konteks pemilihan penerimaan beasiswa bagi mahasiswa. Pemilihan penerimaan beasiswa memerlukan pertimbangan berbagai kriteria yang kompleks dan subjektif. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu dalam pemilihan penerimaan beasiswa pada mahasiswa. TOPSIS digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan. Metode ini menggabungkan konsep perhitungan jarak dengan prinsip keberimbangan antara kriteria yang dianggap penting. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ini menerima input berupa data kriteria yang relevan dengan pemilihan penerimaan beasiswa, seperti prestasi akademik, aktivitas ekstrakurikuler, keterlibatan sosial, dan faktor kebutuhan finansial. Data ini kemudian diolah menggunakan metode TOPSIS untuk menghasilkan peringkat dan rekomendasi penerimaan beasiswa bagi mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Beasiswa dengan Metode TOPSIS dapat membantu dalam memudahkan proses pengambilan keputusan yang lebih obyektif dan efisien dalam pemilihan penerimaan beasiswa. Dengan adanya sistem ini, institusi yang memberikan beasiswa dapat memiliki acuan yang lebih terukur dalam memilih mahasiswa yang memenuhi persyaratan dan kriteria yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Technology has a very important role in various fields, one of which is in the medical field. the use of technology in the medical field can be used to assist in the management of patient administration data up to medical examinations of patients related to medical data. Cases of diseases that require management of medical data on a routine scale, namely Diabetes Mellitus (DM). According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Data Atlas for 2021, Indonesia is ranked 5th with the largest number of diabetics in the world by showing an increase in the number of sufferers almost doubling in the past two years, namely 19.46 million cases [1]. With this large number of cases, the management of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is needed in patients regularly. Because the fundamental thing in the management of DM, especially type 2 DM is a change in lifestyle, including a good diet and regular exercise. The individual's ability to manage daily life, control, and reduce the impact of the disease suffered by patients is known as self-management. The main objective of the DM monitoring system in the management of DM is to regulate glucose levels within normal limits to reduce symptoms and prevent complications that occur in people with DM. The research method used in the development of this self-management application is the Scrum method. The research results obtained are an information system to monitor diabetes blood sugar that makes it easier for diabetics to monitor their health independently.

Abstract

Transaction data in the printing industry provides valuable insights into concurrently favored products by customers within a specific timeframe. Java Printing Batujajar has recorded printing transactions over the past 2 years. However, the lack of data management has led to disorganized raw material inventory, resulting in many unprocessed transaction records. The collected data consists of 704 printing transaction records from 2021 to 2022. Consequently, a solution is needed to identify patterns within this transaction data. This research aims to employ the association method with FP-Growth algorithm using the RapidMiner software. The research findings reveal an association between two products: "Buku Yasin L 208hl" (Complete/using elbow and tassel ribbon, 208 pages) and "Buku Yasin L 224hl" (Complete/using elbow and tassel ribbon, 224 pages). Both products exhibit the highest support value, accounting for 11.5% of total transactions, indicating their frequent simultaneous purchases. Moreover, the confidence value for the association between these two products reaches 100%, implying that if a customer purchases "Buku Yasin L 208hl," they will certainly buy "Buku Yasin L 224hl" as well. The test results indicate that by adjusting experimental parameters, higher support and confidence values are achieved compared to using default parameters. This signifies that experimental testing is more effective in discovering product associations and providing valuable information for optimizing the arrangement and storage of related raw materials.
