Abstract

Construction projects are activities that must be completed within limited time and resources. This research aims to identify risky activities and make control efforts to reduce the level of hazard risk in the installation of steel box girder on the bridge. This research used a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were collected through surveys and interviews with 60 respondents from 35 bridge projects. The results showed that there were 29 variables of work accident risk factors, including 3 variables with moderate risk levels, 24 variables with high risk levels, and 2 variables with extreme risk levels. The highest risk factors were mobilization that caused congestion and crane overturning during girder lifting that caused operators to fall. To reduce the risk level, efforts are made to ensure all work is done correctly, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure an effective communication system in the installation of steel box girders on the bridge. The findings can serve as a basis for policy makers to develop better OHS regulations and guidelines, as well as provide valuable information for the development of more effective safety training programs for workers in the construction sector.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of customer experience as a mediator in the relationship between online innovation and repurchase intention in the training industry in Indonesia. In the context of intense competition, understanding the factors that influence consumers' intention to repurchase is crucial for business continuity. Data was collected through a survey involving 274 respondents who had participated in training, both online and offline. Respondents were selected based on predetermined criteria. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling (SEM) to evaluate the relationships between variables, including online innovation, customer experience, and repurchase intentions. The research findings show that online innovation does not have a significant direct influence on repurchase intentions. However, customer experience was shown to have a positive and significant impact on repurchase intentions. In other words, customer experience plays an important role as a mediator linking online innovation with consumers' intention to repurchase in the context of training. This study has limitations, as it only considers the customer perspective. Further research is recommended to explore the company's point of view and other variables that may contribute to repurchase intentions. The findings emphasize that training companies need to prioritize improving customer experience to increase retention rates and profitability. Overall, the results of this study suggest that while online innovation is important, the main focus should be on developing a positive customer experience to drive repurchase intentions. This is a key strategy for companies to face challenges in the increasingly competitive training industry.

Abstract

Female employees often face unique challenges in the workplace, especially when they have dual roles as workers and housekeepers. Dual role conflict can cause work stress, which impacts their performance at work. This study aims to analyze the effect of dual role conflict and work stress on the performance of female employees with work motivation as a mediator. This study uses a quantitative research method. The data collection method used in this study is to reveal the research variables using a scale. The data analysis method used in this study uses the help of the JASP Statistics application. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of dual role conflict on the performance of female employees. In addition, this study also showed that work stress had a significant effect on the performance of female employees in the educational institution. Furthermore, work motivation was proven to have an effect on the performance of female employees at YSM. This study revealed that dual role conflict affected the performance of female employees with work motivation as a mediator, and work stress also affected the performance of female employees with work motivation functioning as a mediator. The implications of this study indicate the importance of management paying attention to dual role conflict and job stress to improve the performance of female employees. In addition, the results of this study can serve as a basis for organizations in designing support programs that can increase work motivation and employee well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of village assets in Galagamba Village, Ciwaringin District, Regency. In the context of village development, effective asset management is essential to improve community welfare. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, with data collection through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that village asset management still faces various challenges, including low community participation, weak accountability, and lack of transparency in asset information management. In addition, many assets are poorly inventoried and in need of repair. The impact of this suboptimal management is seen in the social and environmental welfare of the community. Based on the findings, it is recommended to increase the capacity of human resources, open space for community participation, and apply the principle of transparency in asset management. This research provides important insights for village governments in formulating more effective and sustainable policies for village asset management in the future.

Abstract

Random traffic flows and the influence of traffic signals at intersections often cause significant variations in travel times. This has implications for signal control planning and design. This study aims to compare the variability between signalized and unsignalized corridors in Lahore and identify the challenges faced by road users. The study was conducted through a literature survey that collected data on trip purpose, frequency, travel time, and transportation mode choice from various sources. Results show that signalized corridors have lower accident rates and shorter travel times compared to unsignalized corridors. Unsignaled corridors, on the other hand, offer better access and lower fuel costs. Although signalized corridors are more effective in managing traffic flow and improving safety, further research is needed to explore alternative solutions such as roundabouts that can improve mobility and sustainability. The results of this study can serve as a reference for transportation planners and policy makers in designing a more efficient traffic system. This study also suggests the need for further evaluation of traffic control in various urban contexts to optimize safety and efficiency.

Abstract

Notarial documents are important legal evidence, but their validity depends on the fulfillment of the provisions of the UUJN, especially Article 16 paragraph (1) letter m. This research aims to analyze the legal consequences of notarial deeds that do not comply with the provisions of Article 16 paragraph (1) letter m of the UUJN, as well as understand the responsibilities of notaries in ensuring the validity of the documents they create. This research uses a doctrinal approach by analyzing legal norms through a literature review of relevant literature and legal sources. The main focus is on the legal consequences of notarial deeds that do not comply with the provisions of Article 16 paragraph (1) letter m of the UUJN. The research found that a notarial document that is not read and signed in the presence of the parties involved potentially loses its evidentiary power and is considered an underhand deed. Notaries are fully responsible for this mistake, which can result in administrative, civil and criminal sanctions. The obligation to read the deed orally by the notary is essential to ensure that all parties understand the contents of the document and agree to its terms. Violation of this obligation not only harms the parties involved but also undermines the integrity of the notary profession. The conclusion of this study confirms that the fulfillment of the provisions of Article 16 paragraph (1) letter m of the UUJN is mandatory to maintain the validity of notarial deeds.

Abstract

The use of natural-based skincare products is increasing along with public awareness of the importance of choosing safe and environmentally friendly ingredients. This study aims to develop a nanoemulsion-based exfoliating liquid soap from lerak (Sapindus rarak DC) extract and coconut pulp. Considering the environmental challenges due to the use of plastic-based products, this study adopts an eco-friendly approach by using natural raw materials. The Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction (UAE) method was applied to extract active compounds from lerak fruit, followed by the preparation of nanoemulsions using a high-pressure homogenizer. Results showed that the resulting nanoemulsion had good stability, with small droplet size and viscosity suitable for cosmetic products. Organoleptic tests showed that the final product was safe and non-irritating to the skin.  The developed exfoliating liquid soap product shows potential as an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic surfactant-based products. This research contributes to the development of sustainable cosmetic products that utilize local resources, as well as raising awareness of the use of natural ingredients in the beauty industry.
