Abstract

This study aims to determine the Non Performing Financing (NPF), NetOperating Margin (NOM) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on MurabahahFinancing with Third Party Funds (TPF) as the Moderating Variable. Thepopulation in this study are Islamic Banks that publishes their financialstatements to Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) and each website of Islamic Banksfor the period 2013 to 2017, with a sampling technique that is purposivesampling, the samples taken were 8 Islamic Banks in Indonesia obtained wereanalyzed by moderating regression analysis technique. The results of this studyindicate that: (1) Non Performing Financing (NPF) does not negatively affectmurabahah financing at Islamic Banks; (2) Net Operating Margin (NOM) hasa positive effect on murabahah financing at Islamic Banks; (3) Financing toDeposit Ratio (FDR) has a positive effect on murabahah financing at IslamicBanks; (4) Third Party Funds (DPK) do not moderate the negative influence ofNPF on murabahah financing at Islamic Banks; (5) Third Party Funds (DPK)strengthen the positive influence of NOM on murabahah financing at IslamicBanks; (6) Third Party Funds (DPK) strengthen the positive influence of FDRon murabahah financing at Islamic Banks. The implication of this research isthe result of this study can be used as an effort to increase murabahahfinancing. To increase the amount of murabahah financing, managerial inIslamic Banks in Indonesia need to prioritize policies related to Net OperatingMargin (NOM), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Third Party Funds(DPK).

Abstract

Each type of contract in financing in a Sharia Bank has differentcharacteristics. This can not be separated from the type of transaction used infinancing. This study aims to analyze the effect of financing characteristicsbased on the contract in the distribution of funds, namely: mudharabahfinancing, musyarakah financing, murabahah financing and qardh loans tofinancing risk which is proxied by the ratio of non-performing finance (NPF).The research is a quantitative associative study with the object of a shariacommercial bank in Indonesia. The sampling technique used a purposivesampling technique where the number of samples analyzed was 66 consistingof 11 Islamic Commercial Banks with the period 2011-2016. The analysisshows that mudharabah financing has a positive effect on NPF, murabahahfinancing has a negative effect on NPF. While musyarakah and qardhul hasanfinancing does not affect the NPF ratio.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explore the relationship of demographic aspects of society, including gender, education level, income level, occupation, religion, and spiritual level towards the types of banks that used by the people of Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method with  correspondence analysis technique.  200 communities have been chosen as a sample. They are the customers of conventional banks, sharia banks, or  both of them. The results of this study argue  that, not all demographic aspects of society have association or relationship with the type of bank selected by respondents. Only religion and spiritual level aspects have real associations. Muslim respondents are more likely to choose Islamic banks than non-multifarious respondents. Respondents with high spiritual level tend to be associated with sharia banks rather than low ones. This research can be used for the marketing designer as one of the basic determines for the marketing strategy of the bank.

Abstract

This study aims to test how far the decision to become a customer or customer interest in sharia banking, especially PT. Bank BRISyariah KCP Wahid Hasyim Jombang by observing customer’s behaviors. There are seven factors that influence the decision to become a customer, they are product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidance called marketing mix-7p and one special factor ini this case is religion. Religious factor in this study is the image of sharia.The results showed that marketing mix-7p variables (X1) and religion variables (X2), had a positive influence. The regression equation Y = -5.792 + 0.234 + 0.644. The F test (simultaneous) showed that the marketing mix-7p variables and religion variables both had significant influences on the decision to be a customer with a significance level of 0.000 or 0%. But based on T test (partial), marketing mix-7p variables significantly influence the decision to become a customer of 0,000, while religious variables significantly influence the decision to become a client of 0.001. The contribution of marketing mix-7p and religion variables to the decisions to become customers is shown by the coefficient of determination that has been equaled 0.783 means that the marketing mix-7p and religion influence the decision to become a customer of 78.3% while sisahnya by 22% influenced by other variables outside the model Used by researchers.And the result of this research get R = 0,885 show R almost close to number 1, meaning between marketing mix-7p and religion variable to decision become customer have influence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of variable bank image, service quality, customer trust, handling complaints, and satisfaction with customer loyalty. Islamic Bank SUMSEL BABEL of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The Source of Data taken is primary data through questionnaires to 100 respondents using purposive sampling. The results showed that the bank image variable, service quality, customer trust, and complaint handling had a simultaneous effect on customer loyalty, as evidenced by the significance value of 0,000 <0,05. While the partial test can be concluded that the bank image variable (X1) has a positive effect on customer loyalty (Y), this is evidenced by a significance value of 0.006 <0.05. Service quality variable (X2) does not affect customer loyalty (Y), this is evidenced by the significance value of 0.997> 0.05. The variable customer trust (X3) has a positive effect on customer loyalty (Y), this is evidenced by the significance value of 0.003 <0.05. The complaint handling variable (X4) has a positive effect on customer loyalty (Y), this is evidenced by the significance value of 0.009 <0.05. Satisfaction variable (X5) has a positive effect on customer loyalty (Y), this is evidenced by the significance value of 0.021 <0.05

Abstract

                               The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Bank Size on the profitability and efficiency level of Islamic Commercial Banks, as well as the effect of profitability if it moderates the effect of Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Bank Size on the level of efficiency of Islamic Commercial Banks. The level of efficiency is obtained through efficiency analysis with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), The variables of input output consist of tabungan iB, giro iB, and deposito iB, while output consist of murabahah financing, mudharabah financing, musyarakah financing,and investment in securities. Data used during the period 2014-2017 which includes 13 Islamic Commercial Banks. The results of the study indicate that Bank Victoria Syariah achieved optimal efficiency values and the lowest efficiency of Bank Syariah Bukopin. The results of the hypothesis indicate that Non Performing Financing (NPF) has a significant negative effect on profitability and the level of efficiency of Islamic commercial banks. Bank size has no significant positive effect on profitability and has no significant negative effect on the efficiency of Islamic commercial banks. Profitability has no significant positive effect on the level of efficiency, and is not able to significantly moderate the influence of NPF and bank size on the level of efficiency of Islamic commercial banks.
