Abstract

This study aimed to explore the use of HOTS-based tests by teachers in West Sumatra. This research was conducted in Bukittinggi City, Agam Regency and Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research was conducted with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that there is no use of HOTS-based tests on daily tests, midterm and semester exams are still low. This requires training and mentoring for teachers to train their skills in developing HOTS economic questions.Keywords : tests, HOTS, economic

Abstract

This study examined to describe the effect of personality type and smartphone use on economic learning outcomes in class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Solok for the 2019/2020. Type of this study is associative quantitative. Population in this study is students of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Solok 2019/2020, and sample in this study obtained using the slovin formula with proportional random sampling technique. Data analyse technique used is descriptive and quantitative analyse with multiple linear regression. The result of this study showed that 1) Personality type have a positive effect and significant on the economic learning outcomes with sig 0,006 < 0,05. 2) Smartphone use have a negative effect and not significan on the economic learning outcomes with sig 0,640 < 0,05. 3) Personality type and smartphone use have together effect on the economic learning outcomes with sig 0,009 < 0,05.Keywords : learning outcomes, personality type, smartphone used

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of advertisements and the attractiveness of advertisements on Sarimi's brand attitude among students of Padang State University. This type of research is a causative research. The sample in this study was 96 students of Padang State University who were selected using purposive sampling method. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data were collected by using a questionnaire technique and analyzed using multiple regression analysis methods. Testing instruments using validity and reliability tests. The prerequisite analysis tests included normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The collected data were processed with SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of advertisements and the attractiveness of advertisements has a significant positive effect on Sarimi's brand attitude among students of Padang State UniversityKeywords : efektivitas iklan, daya tarik iklan, brand attitude

Abstract

The purpose of researche is to know the effect of store atmosphere and price discount on impulse buying with intervening variable is positive emotion of fashion product (study on consumer Ramayana Plaza Andalas Padang city). This research used causative form, the population in this research were society of Padang. The sample of this research as many 100 respondents that choose by using purposive sampling technic with consideration consumer impulse buying fashion product in Ramayana Plaza Andalas. It used primary data that obtained through distributing questionnaires to people in Padang with particular criteria. Analysis method was used is path analysis with SPSS 16. The result of this research shows (1) store atmosphere has significant effect and positif on impulse buying, (2) price discount has significant effect and positif on impulse buying, (3) store atmosphere has significant effect and positif on positive emotion,(4) price discount has significant effect and positif on positive emotion,(5) impulse buying has significant effect and positif on positive emotion,  (6) store atmosphere has significant effect and positif to impulse buying with variable intervening as positive emotion (7) price discount has significant effect and positif to impulse buying with variable intervening as positive emotion. Abstract

This research aimed to find to find out whether there was the effect of learning media on the level of financial knowledge of students. The kind of this reseacrh was quasi-experimental reseacrh. The quasi-experimental design used was a pretest posttest control group design. The media used in this study is the Fillecya (Financial literacy) Board. The population of this study was all X IPS classes of SMA N 2 Lubuk Basung in academic year 2019/2020 consisting of five classes. The researcher took two classes as the sample, they were X IPS 1 and X IPS 2 as the experimental and control class in this research. In the experimental class the value of the level of financial knowledge of students was 81.97 and the increase in the average value of the level of financial knowledge was 25.44 with an N gain of 0.57 (medium category). In the control class the value of the financial literacy level of students is 68.83 and the increase in the average value of financial literacy levels is 21.60 with an N gain of 0.40 (medium category). Based on the t test, it showed that the value of sig. 0,000 <0.05, so it can be summarized that 1) instructional media influenced the level of financial knowledge of students, 2) there were differences in the level of financial knowledge before and after learning by using fillecya board learning media, 3) there were some differences in the level of financial knowledge before and after learning without using learning media (conventional).Keywords: fillecya board, financial knowledge

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Android-Based School Examination (USBA) at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by interview and documentation. The data sources used were primary data and secondary data, which were analyzed by using triangulation techniques. The number of informants in this study were 6 people, namely USBA operators and class XII students of SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh. The results showed that the USBA implementation process at SMAN 3 Sungai Penuh was the same as the conventional exam implementation process, but at USBA students were more independent. The advantages of USBA include exams that can be done anywhere, USBA costs are more efficient than paper exams, test results can be seen after students have finished taking exams, with this USBA minimizing the occurrence of cheating by students. Constraints in implementing USBA are the low capacity of the internet network. Comparing conventional exams with USBA, there are many differences between the two, this can be seen from the equipment used, the form of the questions, the time for taking the questions, the place and the operational costs of the exam.
