Abstract

Abstract. The researcher found a problem in designing an instruction often ignore the message design because it is focused on syntax and learning systems, including the design of innovative learning such as e-learning, online learning, blended learning and mobile learning. Based on these problems, the researcher develops a model of design message in blended learning. The goal is to help the educators to facilitate learners to interpret and construct teaching materials. The development used ADDIE models. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests in order to produce a model of message design. The validity of this products was tested by expert and the practicality and effectivity testing by the user in the course of Theory of Learning and instruction. The result of this development consists of (1) the book of model design messages in blended learning, and (2) the learning tool that consists of teaching materials, media presentations, e-learning, syllabus, SAP that is valid, practical and effective. The Book model can be used by designers of instruction, learning consultant, and lecturer/educator in helping learners to interpret and construct learning message so that they have an ability to generalize the learning and become independent learners.Keyword:  Blended learning, online learning, message design, learning theory, ADDIE model

Abstract

The increasing number of students who enroll the Visual Art Department from year to year opens opportunities for increased art activities in Fine Arts. This increasing lead to activity as the core provision for prospective art teachers. Unfortunately, only few students who take advantage of this valuable moment as an effort to explore their future career. This phenomenon is important to be follow up as a consideration, due to opportunities for future students to run the business, becoming an artist, or even a curator. With such open chance career span they may live, basically when they are study in S1 Visual Arts, all of their knowledge and skills must be obtained from lecturers theoretical and practical. Lecturers are required to develop a suitable learning model, approach, instructional media, learning strategies, as well as reliable visual arts learning techniques. This theoretical paper will explore and summary several findings done by the expert and researcher (lecturers) about preparing instructional technology of its development for prospective art teachers in junior high school, high school/vocational school level. Finally, the paper describe how can students and lecturer gain beneficial from art activities carry on each semester.

Abstract

The goals of this research are 1). To Develop the learning of BAM in portofolio based model in Islamic Junior High School, 2). To test the validity, practicality and the efectifity of the developed learning. This research was done by using research and devepment (R&D) research, by using Mc Kenny development which was adopted by Plom. There were three phases to design this research: prelimanary research, design and evaluation. To apply the development of learning in the classroom , the researcher designed the teacher’s book, the student’s book, the guide book and also the validity testing, practicality and the efectivity of the book which is refering to the designed of learning. In the process of the research, the qualitative data was collected throug observation, interview and field note. Meanwhile, in quantitative data was collected throug test and question. Then, the research did the data analisis and the final learning development of Minangkabau Culture Lesson (BAM). The result of the research were: a). The development of the learning of BAM in portofolio model which was developed in the form of guide book model, and learning device the teacher’s book and the student’s book. b). The user of the learning development of Minangkabau Culture Lesson (BAM) in portofolio based emperically can in crease the student’s motivation in learning.

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study was to develop a model of learning based on Facebook-assisted learning to improve the geographic problem-solving abilities of high school students. Research and Development was the type of research entailed. Instructional System Design entailed was Plomp consisting of (1) preliminary research (2) Prototype Phase (Prototyping phase); 3) Assessment stage. The product design stage investigates the validity and practicality with formative evaluations which include self-evaluation and one-to-one. The assessment stage uses summative evaluation which aims to assess the validity of the product in aspects of the organization, format, material and language. Practicality assesses the level of ease, the efficiency of time and benefits. As for effectiveness, it assesses student learning test results using the t-test. Exam questions are made in the form of essays and are assessed using an assessment rubric. Data is collected through discussions, observations, interviews, questionnaires and tests. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that for the validity of the Model book and its support system (teacher's books and student books) met the valid criteria of> 3.20 while the ICC value of the model book was 0.987, the ICC of student books was 0.943 and ICC of the teacher's book 0.965. These figures indicate that the model and the supporting system according to the expert is appropriate. The practicality results obtained are very practical that is easy to use, understood, very helpful in the learning process, the use of adequate time, and fun for students to learn. Effectiveness test results enable students to solve Geography problems in High Schools. In conclusion, the Valid, practical and effective Facebook-assisted problem-based learning model can improve the geography problem-solving ability of high school students. , e-learning, facebook

Abstract

This research purposed to describe the results of AUM PTSDL and its use by Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor for Guidance and Counseling services to students. This research used descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approach. The instruments of research used AUM PTSDL Format 2, The format of BMB3 and guideline for interview. The results of research are analyzed statistically and narrative. This research shows that AUM PTSDL results of Senior High School students in Padang who became samples in form quality score of learning activities still very low or less is average 36.30% from ideal score, and also their learning problems pretty much is average 28,14% from number of learning problems that may exist. Response dynamics of BMB3 student to data of AUM PTSDL results are quite positive, means that students are aware of their flaws and eager to fix it. Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor welcomes positively to awareness and enthusiasm of students accompanied prepare themselves in use AUM PTSDL and utilization results to improve the quality of their learning activities by Guidance and Counseling services, which organized through various types of services and their supporting activities in specific format. The school’s leadership have role in facilitating the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services and supports Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor performance at school.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan mobile learning berbasis android, mengetahui kualitas produk, serta mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap aplikasi mobile learning berbasis android. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian pengembangan (R&D), dengan mengikuti tahapan model pengembangan 4D, yang meliputi empat tahapan utama, yaitu: pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan. dan penyebaran (disseminate). Data diperoleh melalui validasi produk kepada ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa, kemudian diuji cobakan kepada pengajar (guru) mata pelajaran  biologi serta diuji coba kepada 30 peserta didik kelas X SMA. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh produk dengan penilaian ahli materi sebesar 93,75%, ahli media sebesar 93,75%, ahli bahasa sebesar 84,38%, tanggapan peserta didik sebesar 88,27%; dan tanggapan guru sebesar 81,82%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning berdampak positif terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup, dengan nilai N- Gain sebesar 0,72 dengan kategori tinggi. Sehingga aplikasi mobile learning dapat dijadikan sebagai media bantu yang layak bagi peserta didik dan guru.

Abstract

Applied Physics is used to comprehend any other technical engineering studies and as the foundation of technology innovation. As one of the curriculum components in helping the students to be competent in certain skills, it is used to develop intellectual, attitude, interest, skill and creativity. Physics is a course containing materials in form of fact, concept, principle and procedure. The method used in this research was literature studies and observation. The purpose of the research was to analyze whether the seven CTL principles are needed in Applied Physics or it can be simplified. The seven principle used in Indonesia are constructivism, inquiry, questioning, learning community, modelling, reflection and authentic assessment. Having conducting literature studies, especially for Applied Physics, inquiry can be applied along with questioning. Modelling is not the priority because Applied Physics does not need the real model, but only needs an example for Mining Engineering. Meanwhile, reflection has been accommodated in every learning step. Conclusively, constructivism, inquiry and questioning, learning community and authentic assessment are the steps needed during the learning of Applied Physics using CTL approach.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) influence of knowledge entrepreneurship, industrial work practice and motivation of entrepreneurship interest against an accomplished students of class XII marketing skills competency SMK Negeri Padang city business and management. (2) the influence of knowledge entrepreneurship entrepreneurship interest to grade XII Foreign marketing skills competency SMK Padang city business and management. (3) the influence of the working practices of the industry of interest entrepreneurship grade XII Foreign marketing skills competency SMK Padang city business and management.(4) the influence of motivation overachievers against interest entrepreneurship marketing students of SMK Negeri Padang city business and management. Type of this research is a descriptive associative. The population of this research is the entire class XII student competency expertise marketing SMK Negeri Padang city business and management, totalling 137 persons. Sample withdrawal technique with random sampling proportional to the number of samples as much as 102 people. Analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and inductive analysis: test the assumptions of classical and multiple regression analysis. Results of research: (1) knowledge entrepreneurship, industrial work practices and motivational impact of entrepreneurship interest achievers grade XII Foreign marketing skills competency SMK Padang city business and management.(2) knowledge of significant interest to the influential entrepreneurship entrepreneurship class XII student competency expertise marketing SMK Negeri Padang city business and management. (3) the working practices of influential industry significantly to interest of entrepreneurship class XII student competency expertise marketing SMK Negeri Padang city business and management.(4) an accomplished motivational effect significantly to interest students of entrepreneurship class XII student competency expertise marketing SMK Negeri Padang city business and management.   Keywords: entrepreneurship, knowledge work practices, the motivation industry achievers and interest of entrepreneurship
