Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of monetary hegemony shocks on some economic growth variables To Iraq. The most important factors affecting economic growth were identified, the variables of the model are depicted; there are many independent variables while gross domestic product symbolizes the economic growth as dependent variable. The least square technique was used to estimate the parameters of the model. The unit root test and the cointegration test were used in this paper as well. Impulse response functions were computed to examine the responses of the Iraqi economy to shocks in the study period. The estimation results showed that the time series for the study adjusts after the first differences, along with evidence on the joint integration which suggested a long-run cointegrating relationship among the used variables. It was also observable that the changes in the world oil prices had economic shocks that affected the growth rate in Iraq. Highlights: Impact of monetary shocks on Iraq's economic growth. Model uses GDP as dependent variable; various independent factors analyzed. Oil price shocks influence Iraq’s growth rate. Abstract

General Background: Land disputes over public facility (fasum) areas frequently arise due to conflicting claims, impacting legal and social stability. Specific Background: In Sampang District, a dispute emerged over fasum land in the "Puri Matahari" housing area, where a private individual constructed commercial buildings, conflicting with local regulations. Knowledge Gap: Inconsistencies in legal decisions and administrative weaknesses contribute to uncertainty in public land management. Aims: This study examines the legal status of the disputed land, judicial inconsistencies, and regulatory challenges while proposing governance improvements. Results: The findings confirm that the land legally belongs to the public domain, though administrative flaws led to legal disputes. Conflicting court rulings highlight the complexities of enforcing land use regulations. Novelty: This study identifies gaps in regulatory enforcement and judicial interpretation, proposing reforms to prevent similar conflicts. Implications: Strengthening legal frameworks, land administration, and judicial consistency is crucial to safeguarding public land and preventing future disputes. Abstract

The essay explores contemporary trends in the economic transformation of nations driven by digital technology. It provides an overview of key technology paradigms shaping economic growth and outlines the primary characteristics of the digital economy, such as shifts in production resources, evolving IT cycles, and the importance of networked models emphasizing connectivity, self-sufficiency, and autonomy. The economic landscape of the digital era is analyzed, with a focus on institutional frameworks, relational norms, and the prerequisites for adapting education systems to meet digital economy demands. The role of knowledge in societal evolution and its interaction with institutional environments and information domains is highlighted, alongside tools for information processing and protection. The essay presents the results of the Digital Economy Index (DEI) and its components, providing insights into the status of digital transformation. Based on these findings, proposals are formulated to advance the digital economy in the Republic of Iraq, addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities identified through statistical analysis and provided data. Abstract

This research aims to explore governance and risk management's role in enhancing transparency, accountability, and the quality of external audit performance. It examines the responsibilities of external auditing in successful risk management and fostering trust among stakeholders. The study highlights the importance of compliance with international auditing standards, particularly ISA-265, in reporting deficiencies in internal control to governance and management. Using SPSS v26 and AMOS v26 for analysis, data were gathered from 255 auditors and accountants working in governance, risk management, and auditing within major Iraqi banks. Key topics include corporate governance, audit quality, the definition and significance of governance, and risk management’s methodology. Findings reveal a strong positive relationship between integrating corporate governance, risk management principles, and audit quality. Advanced governance practices and effective risk management create an environment that strengthens auditor independence and ensures accurate, objective audits. The research underscores the vital role of internal controls in governance and risk management, reducing fraud, detecting manipulation early, and achieving audit quality. These insights guide organizations in fostering transparency, meeting goals, and bolstering confidence among investors and stakeholders. Highlights: Governance and risk management enhance transparency and audit quality. External auditing supports risk management, independence, and fraud detection. Abstract

Background: The rise of digital technology has revolutionized local governance by enhancing efficiency and transparency. Specific Background: In this context, the E-Buddy application facilitates the digital management of official correspondence, yet its effectiveness has not been thoroughly examined. Knowledge Gap: Current literature lacks a detailed analysis of the communication dynamics and bureaucratic structures affecting the success of such digital systems. Aims: This study investigates the implementation of the E-Buddy application, emphasizing communication, resource allocation, executor disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Results: Findings reveal that the application's effectiveness is undermined by limited feature utilization and insufficient adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), resulting in miscommunication and inefficiencies. Novelty: The research underscores the importance of effective communication and structured SOPs in optimizing digital systems in governance. Implications: The study recommends enhancing training and establishing clear SOPs to improve implementation outcomes and contribute to more effective governance. Highlights : Effective communication is crucial for successful implementation. Insufficient adherence to SOPs hampers operational efficiency. Abstract

Production operations at the present time reflect a transition towards business sustainability and achieving a balance between human needs and environmental preservation. Accordingly, this study highlights the risks of production operations in light of sustainable business using fuzzy logic. To achieve this goal, previous studies were relied upon to identify risks. The production process, as well as identifying the factors influencing the production process in the organization. After that, 50 experts specialized in the field of production in Iraq were sought to find out their point of view on the risks of the production process and its consequences in Iraq. The results were analyzed using fuzzy logic and special risk matrices. (Easy, standard, difficult). The study revealed that the standard matrix is the best in confronting risks. Moreover, these risks must be faced effectively by adopting comprehensive strategies that combine environmental and economic performance, investing in technology and training, and ensuring the safety and health of workers, in a way that enhances this. Opportunities, reduce risks in production processes and contribute to achieving long-term sustainability. Highlights: Production sustainability requires balancing human needs and environmental preservation. Fuzzy logic identifies production risks, analyzed using expert insights and matrices.
