Abstract

This research focuses on creating a website-based child language development screening system that helps clients find language development disorders in children earlier. The purpose of the research is to design a website-based child language development screening system, implementing the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire on the website. The research method used is the waterfall method, because the steps of this method are sequential, from the requirement stage to maintenance. In the development of this system, the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire is applied as the main tool to identify potential language delays in children. System testing is carried out using the Black box and UMUX-Lite methods to ensure that the system functions in accordance with the specifications made and effectively meets user needs. Black box testing results show that the system runs according to the requirements made, while UMUX-Lite results get a score of 81.4 from 15 respondents who have children aged 1-5 years, indicating that the system gets an acceptability score in Acceptable. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the Child Language Word system is successful and meets the client's needs, and becomes a useful tool for detecting early childhood language development disorders.

Abstract

The quality of coffee is determined by its taste, aroma, and flavor. These three factors are key attributes influencing the human multisensory perception of coffee. This multisensory perception can be affected by various factors, including the brewing method, roasting temperature, coffee variety, storage conditions, grinding process, and the quality of the brewing water. Manual coffee preparation poses the risk of water temperatures deviating from recommended standards. Therefore, this study proposes an efficient control device in the form of an IoT-based automatic coffee heater. The system integrates a temperature sensor to measure water temperature, an ESP32 microcontroller for processing, and the AI2 App Inventor application for control and monitoring purposes. The device is designed to maintain coffee at the ideal temperature range, preserving its freshness and sensory quality as if it had just been brewed. This is critical because the brewing temperature is a major factor influencing the flavor profile of coffee. According to the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), the recommended water temperature for brewing coffee is 92°C, with a technical requirement for beverages served to consumers to be no lower than 80°C and no higher than 85°C. The ideal serving temperature for coffee is between 62.8°C and 68.3°C. Based on comprehensive system testing, the device achieved an average success rate of 98.97%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of digital literacy in families as an effort to prevent video game addiction in children. The problem of online game addiction is increasing among children, so parents need to play an active role in supervising and guiding the use of digital media. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method on three families with children aged 7–15 years in the Klaten region. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews and observations, analyzed using the interactive model by Miles & Huberman. The results indicate that each family has distinct communication patterns and media mediation styles when implementing video game consumption rules. Two families (Family 1 and Family 3) showed positive results with a decrease in video game playing intensity after implementing media rules. However, in Family 2, the effectiveness of the rules still faced challenges due to limitations in direct parental supervision. Additionally, the forms of mediation used include restrictive mediation, active mediation, and co-using. The conclusion of this study is that digital literacy within families, implemented through interpersonal communication, supervision, and agreements on digital media use, can serve as a solution to prevent video game addiction in children, provided it is tailored to each family's parenting style and circumstances.

Abstract

Information systems are one of the solutions that can facilitate the process of data input and management, one of which is payment administration and data management. The Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision (PAMSIMAS) located in Padang Laweh village, Padang Laweh sub-district, Dharmasraya district. Currently, the PAMSIMAS water bill payment system is still collected from house to house, and data management only uses simple recording and books as monthly reports. Based on these issues, this research aims to design a Desktop-Based Data Management Information System for PAMSIMAS water bills, which is expected to assist in the administrative process efficiently and reduce the potential for calculation errors. This system was designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), the Java programming language, and a MySQL database. Black-box testing results showed that all system functions performed as expected.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has brought profound transformations across various sectors, including education. One notable manifestation of this change is in the New Student Admission (PPDB) process, which was traditionally conducted manually but is now progressively transitioning to digital platforms. At SMPN 5 Tayan Hilir, however, the PPDB process remains conventional, resulting in several challenges such as slow data retrieval, potential loss of important documents, and inefficiencies in time management. This study aims to design and implement a web-based New Student Admission Information System (SIPPDB) as a digital solution to address these issues. The research methodology comprises field observations (primary data collection), literature review, and the development of a web-based system. The implementation results demonstrate that the proposed system significantly improves the PPDB process, making it faster, more accurate, and more efficient for both prospective students and school administrators. Moreover, the system is anticipated to serve as a catalyst for broader digital transformation in data and information management within the school environment.

Abstract

This study explores the utilization of Instagram as a communication medium for the crypto community in Indonesia, focusing on the @coinvestasi account. The objective is to understand how Instagram functions as a platform for information sharing, education, and community interaction related to cryptocurrency and digital assets. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with community representatives and followers, as well as documentation of Instagram content. The analysis was guided by the Circular Model of SoMe, which emphasizes four aspects: share, optimize, manage, and engage. The findings indicate that @coinvestasi uses Instagram strategically to deliver educational content, news updates, and interactive materials that attract and engage its audience. Various features such as feed posts, stories, reels, polls, and live sessions are utilized to encourage participation and foster two-way communication. The account successfully builds trust among followers by providing consistent, fact-based, and accessible information, while also creating opportunities for direct interaction and community growth. This research highlights the role of Instagram as an effective medium for building digital communities, particularly in emerging sectors such as cryptocurrency. The study contributes to the understanding of social media strategies in financial literacy and digital investment education, offering insights for practitioners, researchers, and community managers in leveraging social platforms for communication and engagement.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly influenced warehouse management, particularly in enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency. Equal Billiard as provider of billiard equipment and facilities, faces challenges in inventory management due to manual recording processes, such as data errors, data loss and delay in item tracking. This study aims to design, implement and evaluate a desktop-based warehouse management information system integrated with barcode technology. The research employs The Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, system design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The system was developed using Python programming language and SQLite database. The results indicate that the implementation of barcodes improves recording accuracy, accelerates data entry and facilitates the identification of incoming and outgoing items. Field evaluation shows that the system helps staff minimize human error and produce faster, more accurate inventory reports. In conclusion, the barcode-based warehouse management information system successfully enhances the effectiveness of inventory management at Equal Billiard. Future improvements may include integration with web or mobile-based platforms and the adoption of cloud database to support data flexibility and security.

Abstract

Higher education is crucial for developing competitive human resources, yet the issue of student dropout (DO) remains a significant challenge for institutions. This study aims to develop a predictive model for identifying students at risk of dropout using machine learning techniques. By analyzing academic data, including Grade Point Averages (GPA), course loads, attendance rates, and failure rates, the research employs three machine learning algorithms: Decision Tree, Naive Bayes, and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). The results indicate that the Decision Tree model outperforms the others, achieving a perfect accuracy of 100% in classifying students as either "Graduated" or "Dropout." Naive Bayes also shows strong performance with 95% accuracy, particularly excelling in identifying actual dropout cases. Conversely, KNN exhibits the lowest effectiveness. The findings suggest that implementing the Decision Tree model can significantly enhance early detection and intervention strategies for at-risk students, ultimately improving academic management and student retention rates.

Abstract

Land expansion for residential and industrial areas in a city causes an increase in temperature and humidity. Temperature and humidity changes can be predicted using dynamic spatial modeling as part of the urban planning process. This study aims to predict surface temperature dynamics in Semarang using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm, including training, testing, and prediction processing. The data sources used in this study were changes in temperature and humidity prediction factors for 2025 from the BMKG Climatology Station, Central Java UPT. The network architecture model used 2-15-1, and the MSE (Mean Squared Error) reached 0.113. The ANN modeling prediction output showed an average surface temperature prediction of 27.77°C. When compared with the actual value, this model had a fairly good R value (correlation coefficient) during training, with 89% of the data variation. Based on the data, the model is categorized as good and suitable for use in prediction cases.

Abstract

Social media platforms such as Instagram have become essential spaces for fans of the Indonesian National Football Team to articulate their reactions and support. Systematically analyzing these comments offers a valuable window into the collective sentiment and perception surrounding match outcomes and team management decisions. This research applies the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC), a widely recognized probabilistic method for text classification, to categorize Instagram comments into sentiment classes. The NBC operates on the principle of conditional probability and is particularly advantageous due to its efficiency with limited training data. Between September 5, 2024, and March 25, 2025, a dataset of 1,500 comments was assembled from 15 Instagram posts reflecting different match results—victories, draws, and defeats. The analysis revealed that while NBC attained an overall classification accuracy of 90%, its performance varied across sentiment categories. The model was especially adept at identifying Neutral comments, achieving high precision and recall, but demonstrated limitations in reliably classifying Positive and Negative sentiments. These findings highlight both the potential and the challenges of deploying NBC for sentiment analysis in imbalanced social media datasets.
