Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity and learning outcomes during cooperative learning with the Number Heads Together type on the market material. Data was collected using observation sheets to determine student activity and end-of-cycle tests to determine learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 67.50 and the second cycle was 82.19, an increase of 21.76%. Mastery of student learning in the first cycle of 56.25% and 87.50% in the second cycle increased by 55.56%. Student activity in learning. in the first cycle of 68.69 , classified as quite active, while in the second cycle of 78.34 and classified as active, increased by 14.05 %. From the research data, it can be concluded that the use of the NHT type cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes in social studies subjects for class VII B students of SMP Negeri 2 Ende in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to find alternative problem solving as an effort to improve teacher discipline in teaching attendance in class through the application of Reward and Punishment. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were the teachers of SMPK Nirmala Jopu, Wolowaru District, Ende Regency. Based on data analysis, from this study it can be concluded that the application of Reward and Punishment is effective in increasing the discipline of teacher attendance in the classroom in teaching and learning activities. The data obtained shows that after the implementation of actions in the form of Reward and Punishment, teachers who are more than 15 minutes late are 0, and teachers who are less than 10 minutes late are 14 teachers. The application of Reward and Punishment can increase the discipline of the teacher present in the classroom in teaching and learning activities at the Nirmala Jopu Private Junior High School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to: increase student activity and learning outcomes in social studies learning material on Natural Appearance and Social Conditions in Neighboring Countries with the GI learning model for fifth grade students at SD Catholic St. Herman Yoseph Paupire Kec. Central Ende Kab. The end of the 2018/2019 school year. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with research procedures: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used: observation, interviews, and tests. The data validity technique uses data/source triangulation and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used descriptive comparative between cycles and descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that learning through the GI model could increase the activeness and learning outcomes of Social Sciences material on Natural Appearance and Social Conditions of Neighboring Countries. a) The percentage increase in student activity is 23.09% for cycle 1 and 27.31% for cycle 2. b) increasing the percentage of students who achieve the following minimum learning mastery (KKM): in the initial conditions, the percentage of KKM achievement is 33,3 % (8 students), in cycle 1 the percentage increased to 83,33% (20 students), and in cycle 2 the percentage of students who achieved the KKM increased to 100% (24 students).

Abstract

This research is School Action Research which aims to determine the improvement of teacher discipline in teaching attendance in the classroom through the example of the Principal at SD Inpres Wolooja 3, Wolowaru District, Ende Regency. The subjects of this study were teachers of SD INPRES Wolooja 3, Wolowaru District, 8 people. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. The results showed that the Principal's Example can improve teacher discipline in teaching attendance in class, where in the implementation of pre-cycle learning at the first meeting all teachers were present on time, because it was the first day of school for the 2019/2020 school year. The implementation of learning in the first cycle there were 4 teachers who were late to teach in class, and after the implementation of learning in the second cycle the teacher's discipline in teaching attendance in class reached 87.5% based on the responses of respondents (teachers) regarding the example of the Principal, while based on observations 37.5% Teachers who are still less than 5 minutes late.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes, interest, motivation, and activeness, creativity and collaboration in learning science on the material: the Growth and Development of organism. The results show that 1) student achievement results have increased from the initial conditions to the end of the first cycle conditions and continued to cycle II there was an increase as follows: for the highest value of 80 it increased to 90 in cycle I, and increased again to 95 in cycle II. For the lowest value of 50 it rose to 75 in cycle I, and rose again to 76 in cycle II, for the average value of 66.19 in the pre-cycle rose to 81.34 in the first cycle, and rose again to 87.16 in the second cycle, 14 students completed (43.75%) increased in the first cycle to 36 students (100%), and in cycle II, for students who have not finished as many as 21 students, it drops to 0 students in cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

The research is aimed to improve: 1) students’ activities in learning social studies, and 2) students’ achievement in social studies for fifth grade students in SD GMIT Ende 4Kecamatan Ende Utara Kabupaten Ende of 2nd semester academic year 2018/2019through the application of cooperative learning type Jigsaw learning model. The research was done in Class V of SD GMIT Ende 4 Kecamatan Ende Utara Kabupaten Ende at 2nd semester of academic year 2018/2019. The research was taken place in three months, started on February up to April 2012. The subject of the research were Class V students at SD GMIT Ende 4 Kecamatan Ende Utara Kabupaten Ende of 2nd semester acedemic year 2018/2019 consisted of 26 students. The research concludes that the application of cooperative learning type Jigsaw learning model can: 1) improve students’ activities in learning social studies, and 2) students’ achievement in social studies for fifth grade students in SD GMIT Ende 4Kecamatan Ende Utara Kabupaten Endeof 2nd semester academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Social Science Education (IPS) in principle provides students with knowledge and experience about social life.  This is contained in the purpose and dimensions of social studies education which as a whole touches all aspects of students' lives.  Through social studies education, students from an early age at elementary school age can be helped in shaping their social character. Social studies education in elementary schools teaches the concepts and realities of social life that are essential to shape students into citizens who are able to live and practice social character which is realized through social skills in living with others. Social Studies is one of the media that is able to make an effective contribution to students to be able to have mental, personality and social skills based on morals, all of which are ideals of the expected character values of students. The ideal social character of students as aspired by this nation is students who are devoted to God Almighty, knowledgeable, ready to work together, work together and are willing to sacrifice for fellow citizens. The close relationship between social studies learning and the formation of the social character of students requires teachers, especially elementary school teachers, to be able to succeed in social studies learning more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This paper discusses the influence of products, services, locations and prices on consumer purchasing decisions of Roxy Supermarkets, using data collection techniques: observation, questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using the moment product correlation coefficient. Based on the data analysis and discussion, it proves the significant value (sig) of the anova output because the Sig value is 0.000 <0.05, according to the decision making in the F test it is concluded that the hypothesis is accepted or X1, X2, X3, and X4 simultaneously affect Y. while the comparison it is known that the calculated F value with F table is 35.395 > F table 3.06, it is concluded that the hypothesis is accepted or in other words X1, X2, X3, and X4 simultaneously affect Y. (2) R-Square value which is 0.756 shows that the proportion of influence of variables X1, X2, X3, and X4 on variable Y is 75.6%, meaning that products, services, locations and prices at Roxy Supermarkets have a proportion of influence on purchasing decisions of 75.6% while the remaining 24.4% (100%) -75.6%) is influenced by other variables that are not in the model.
