Abstract

Housewives need dishwashing soap and clothes washing soap every day. It would be more economical if these ingredients could be made themselves and would be more economical. The plan for this community service activity is to provide training in making liquid soap which will be carried out in Tawangrejo Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City, Madiun, whose are PKK’s member. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge, insight and assistance in making liquid soap which is used for washing dishes and washing clothes. The methods used in community service activities use presentation and demonstration methods. Community Service Activities have been carried out well and smoothly and the mothers are very enthusiastic and motivated to do it independently. Attended by 30 mothers, 12 participants of the Unmer Madiun KKN, the mothers took part in mixing the soap ingredients, stirring so they took part in the practice of making liquid soap. The result of this service activity was that the participants received products and understood entrepreneurial opportunities in liquid soap products as dishwashing and clothes washing soap

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance students' understanding of the Chart of Accounts (CoA) through educational innovation using CoA Quartet learning media and Easy CoA. SMK Bhakti Nusantara Cileunyi, located in Bandung Regency, West Java, is an educational institution offering an Accounting and Financial Institution program. Despite being equipped with various facilities and professional educators, students still face challenges in grasping basic accounting concepts, particularly the CoA. This is attributed to conventional teaching methods that are less interactive and fail to create engaging and inspiring learning experiences. To address these issues, we propose the use of CoA Quartet, an enjoyable educational card game, and Easy CoA, a technology-based application that helps students understand CoA more practically and comprehensively. The conclusion from the use of COA Quartet and Easy COA as learning media has proven effective in enhancing the understanding of SMK Bhakti Nusantara 666 Cileunyi students regarding the Chart of Accounts (CoA) material. This is evidenced by a significant increase in average scores and a significant decrease in score variation among students. This learning media is very good to be included in regular learning.

Abstract

Digital media is a forum on the internet where its users can represent themselves, interact, cooperate, share, communicate with other users, and form social bonds virtually. Digital media has various impacts that affect people's behavior, namely positive and negative impacts. The cake business produces human food products whose ingredients use processed agricultural and livestock products. This business is widely carried out as a micro, small, to medium-scale home business. “Wulan” Traditional Cake is a culinary business that provides traditional cakes, pastries, and wet cakes, such as engkak and masubah. Wulan Traditional Cake only sells offline and has not utilized digital media for product marketing. Community service aims to make it easier for partners to do marketing using social media such as Instagram and support the RESTRA of the University of Jambi and the vision of UNJA to become a World Class Entrepreneurship University. The service that has been carried out includes the achievement of Technology for Digital Transformation goals. The result of this PPM activity is that “Wulan” Traditional Cake utilizes digital media by creating a special Instagram account to sell online and, in the future, collaborates with applications such as grabfood and gofood to sell online.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this community service journal is to provide education to the community about the law in order to increase legal awareness in the community and provide socialization regarding the procedures and requirements for obtaining free legal aid for the poor. The method used is to conduct legal counseling and socialization regarding the free legal aid program in Pilangbango Village, Kartoharjo District, Madiun City. This activity is a real manifestation of the commitment of the government, academics and all stakeholders in building a just society and is a community service program from Merdeka University of Madiun. This activity provides an important contribution in solving community problems in accessing information to obtain free legal aid and eroding negative old assumptions and mindsets that have been built and influence actions, especially for the underprivileged community to obtain opportunities for justice and legal protection to access affordable services. The provision of Legal Aid to citizens is an effort to fulfill and at the same time as an implementation of a legal state that recognizes and protects and guarantees the basic rights of citizens to the need for access to justice and equality before the law.

Abstract

The yard has the potential to be developed optimally to support family life used for food crops, vegetables, fruit plants, biopharmaceutical plants, livestock, and fish. In addition to meeting  food and nutritional needs, it also has the potential to increase household income if designed and planned correctly. Efforts to increase family income and health can be made by cultivating biopharmaceutical plants, including ginger. Ginger plants can be grown in the yard with a Bag Culture system that is easy to maintain. Ginger plants benefit herbal drinks and can be made into various processed products with a modern touch. Community service activities start in December 2024 and run through March 2025   The activity method uses the housewises approach and field meetings to demonstrate Bag Culture cultivation systems and training in making processed products. Mentoring is carried out during the activity, and a productive yard with ginger plants is produced at the beginning of this community service program. The harvest of ginger rhizomes is used for training materials for making processed products and as a supplier of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) to support the program to revive and develop village MSMEs.

Abstract

If the yard is well maintained, it will provide an attractive, comfortable, healthy environment that makes us feel at home. We can utilize our yard according to our tastes and desires by planting productive plants such as ornamental plants, fruits, vegetables, spices, and medicines. Having your own business is one alternative solution that can be chosen. Homemakers who have an independent business outside of their main task of taking care of the family and utilizing their free time can also help their husbands fill the family's coffers. In addition, the yard can have an impact on education that can increase knowledge in the field of subjects, especially biology. Efforts to optimize the use and management of yards require the application of the concept of yard management as a sustainable urban agricultural area. Community service activities were carried out at six “KP2L”  locations in Madiun, using lecture methods and short training. The results of the activities showed an open view of the function of urban yards even though they were not supported by adequate land area. Introduction to soil-free cultivation techniques such as hydroponics, hydroponics, and aquaponics is very interesting to practice. Likewise, managing household organic waste into organic fertilizer is an interesting discourse that has great potential to be put into practice

Abstract

public speaking is an important communication skill in conveying messages, ideas or information orally in front of an audience. FH UNIPMA collaborates with Neust Philippines. Providing socialization on public speaking with the target being students and Cendikia High School students. The activities were divided into three sessions, namely providing material, and practicing public speaking and asking questions.The problems faced by Cendikia High School students related to public speaking are: (1) Lack of ability to appear and speak in public; and (2) Lack of public speaking skills both face to face and online.The solutions offered to solve this problem are through community service activities, namely providing training/workshops to provide tips and tricks regarding: (1) How to have the ability to appear and speak in public; and (2) Skills in public speaking both face to face and online. Implementation of this community service activity consists of 3 stages, namely; (1) Preparation stage, to identify problems, apply for permits from Cendikia High School, and make preparations for implementing public speaking training; (2) Stage of implementing public speaking training; and (3) Evaluation stage, with questions and answers as well as evaluation with the participants, to find out how much the participants' knowledge, abilities and skills regarding public speaking have increased after participating in the training activities. As a result of this activity, the audience was able to overcome nervousness and improve their ability to speak in public with more confidence and structure.

Abstract

The transition period from childhood to adulthood often causes adolescents to experience problems. This period occurs between the ages of 10 and 19 and is not yet married. The Perdoski report states that the number of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in adolescents in Indonesia continues to increase from 2017. Adolescent exposure to STDs can be triggered by juvenile delinquency such as premarital sexual intercourse, drugs, free sex which of course has an impact on extramarital pregnancy, school dropouts, early marriage, abortion, risky childbirth, sexually transmitted diseases. The effort to anticipate juvenile delinquency is through the establishment of Posyandu Remaja. Posyandu Remaja is part of the ARU (Children, Adolescents and Elderly) Programme, as a flagship programme of the Ministry of Health and is implemented in the Madiun District Health Office. This programme promotes a preventive approach because it is centred on primary health care activities in a holistic manner. The implementation of this program is the result of collaboration between lecturers and students of Universitas Merdeka Madiun Real Work Lecture with UPTD Puskesmas Geger District, Madiun Regency in a community service program which aims to provide socialisation of adolescent posyandu through health education on how to address problems during puberty. This activity was attended by young people in Banaran Village, Geger District, Madiun Regency, health education activities were provided through the lecture method and at the end of the activity an evaluation of adolescent knowledge was carried out. The results of community service activities show that adolescents have increased knowledge about how to respond to problems at puberty. Similar coaching activities can be used as a preventive measure carried out on an ongoing basis and can be developed towards regular health screening, especially STDs in adolescents.
