Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To test whether work-life balance affects employee performance at Bela Internatinonal Hotel Ternate; (2) To test whether work-life balance has an effect on job satisfaction at Bela International Hotel Ternate; and (3) to test whether job satisfaction affects employee performance at Bela International Hotel Ternate; (4) To test whether work-life balance has an effect on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction at Bela International Hotel Ternate. The number of research samples was 108 employees of Bela International Hotel Ternate. The test tool used is stuctural equation modeling (SEM) using the smart partial least square (PLS) statistical program as a statistical test tool. The results of the study show that: (1) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Bela International Hotel Ternate. The results of this study mean that employees with a good work-life balance will have a balance in personal and work matters; (2) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Bela International Hotel Ternate. The results of this study mean that, the higher employee job satisfaction, the more employee performance increases; (3) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Bela International Hotel Terante; (4) Work-Life Balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Bela International Hotel Ternate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Green Training on Green Employee Performance with Green Behavior as a mediating variable on employees of PT. Charoen Pokphand Jaya Farm. The phenomenon of environmental pollution and hazardous waste (B3) in the industrial sector underlies the importance of implementing the principles of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), especially environmentally friendly training (Green Training) which can form pro-environmental behavior (Green Behavior) and improve the performance of environmentally aware employees (Green Employee Performance). This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and data collection through questionnaires distributed to 68 employees selected by simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that Green Training had a positive and significant effect on Green Behavior and Green Employee Performance. In addition, Green Behavior was proven to significantly mediate the effect of Green Training on Green Employee Performance. These findings highlight the importance of environmentally friendly training in fostering employee behavior and performance that supports corporate sustainability.

Abstract

Particularly in the context of digital business, the advancement of information and communication technology has had a profound impact on consumer behavior.  In order to better understand how social media advertising and content quality impact consumer behavior, this study will be analyzing just that.  Quantitative methods with a descriptive approach are utilized in the investigation.  A hundred people who are well-versed in digital transactions and who regularly use social media were polled online. Validity and reliability tests, testing of the classical assumptions, and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data.  According to the findings, social media advertising and content quality both have a favorable and substantial impact on consumer behavior. The two variables account for 71.5% of the variance in consumer behavior, according to the coefficient of determination value of 0.715. This study provides practical contributions for digital business practitioners in improving the effectiveness of marketing strategies through optimized advertising and high-quality content delivery on social media.

Abstract

As a critical component of financial statement audits, management-prepared financial reports are subjected to thorough and objective evaluations by independent auditing entities. A high-quality audit plays a vital role in ensuring the credibility and reliability of a company’s financial disclosures. This study aims to investigate the effect of audit tenure, audit switching, and audit delay on audit quality within the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. A purposive sampling technique was employed, and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both audit tenure and audit switching significantly influence audit quality, whereas audit delay does not demonstrate a significant effect. Additionally, accounting firm size (KAP size) was found to influence audit quality as a control variable.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Effect of Financial Literacy and Income Level on Financial Well-Being through Financial Behavior as a Mediating Variable with the research object of the Indonesian Action Figure Collector (KAFI) community. This study aims to analyze the extent to which financial literacy and income level affect financial well-being through financial behavior as an intermediate variable. The method used is quantitative with an associative design, using purposive sampling technique on 225 respondents from a total population of 18,000 KAFI members. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study, then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that financial literacy, income level, and financial behavior each have a significant positive effect on financial well-being. In addition, financial behavior is proven to significantly mediate the effect of financial literacy and income level on financial well-being. These findings confirm the importance of financial education not only to increase understanding, but also to encourage wise financial behavior, so that financial well-being can be achieved optimally, especially in young groups who tend to be consumptive.

Abstract

The domestic product usage policy can be strategically implemented through government procurement activities. In order to guarantee that every step of the procurement process is transparent, accountable, and in accordance with the direction of the domestic product usage policy, risk management is an essential component. The objective of this research is to determine and rank various key success factors (KSFs) for risk management in the procurement process in government institutions. This research was conducted in two stages, namely: (1) literature review, to identify the suitable KSF in a government context, and (2) Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), to prioritize KSFs based on the highest weight value. This study found that the priorities of KSFs for risk management in the procurement process to support the domestic product utilization enhancement program are (1) management commitment, (2) risk-aware culture, (3) business process integration, (4) adequate resources, (5) effective communication, and (6) training.

Abstract

The existence of qualified Human Resources in an association is an advantage over other resources in order to accomplish association objectives, to accomplish these objectives human resources do have show aligned performance. Employee performance goes beyond mere task completion but also the capacity to self-regulate, regulate sentiment in interpersonal connections, communication skills to carry out tasks/services to customers and commitment to giving themselves as part of the association and its accomplishments. This article reviews the influence of emotional intelligence, communication skills and affective commitment on employee performance. This research aims to design a hypothesis of the connection among variables so that it be able to be utilized in ensuing studies. The outcomes of the review in this research are: 1) emotional intelligence alters performance; 2) communication skills affect performance; 3) affective commitment alters performance and 4) affective commitment mediates the connection among emotional intelligence and employee performance.

Abstract

This research aiming to analyze the Policy of the Governor of Central Java Regulation No. 60 of 2019 concerning the Regional Poverty Alleviation Strategy of Central Java Province for 2019-2023 on poverty in Central Java. The data of this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of Central Java. The analysis methods used were descriptive statistics, data collection with random effect model (REM) and Class Typology with the number of objects in 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province. The results of the study revealed that simultaneously the dimensions of education, health, employment, basic infrastructure, food security and policy dummy had a significant impact with an adjusted r- square value of 0.364909 or 36.4% on poverty in Central Java. Partially, health indicators are life expectation, one of the basic infrastructure indicators, namely access to proper drinking water sources and dummy policies have a negative and significant effect on poverty. employment indicator, namely the open unemployment rate, has a positive and significant influence on poverty, while the education indicator, namely the pure participation rate of high school / equivalent, has a positive and insignificant influence on poverty and one of the indicators of basic infrastructure, namely proper sanitation and food security, namely the average calories consumption per capita, has a negative but not significant effect on poverty. The results of Classes typology analysis also revealed a number of districts / cities that have undergoing changes after the implementation of the policy.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven major changes in people's behavior in doing business, including in online shopping activities and also business marketing that has shifted to digital. The phenomenon of online purchases in society encourages online impulse purchases which are of particular concern. Bare n bliss is a beauty product that maximizes its product marketing digitally. Its products are actively promoted on tiktok social media, and bare n bliss is also present in the shopee marketplace to transact and maximize promotion and provide information. This study aims to analyze the influence of tiktok content marketing, promotions, and online customer reviews on shopee marketplace towards online impulsive buying in shopee consumers of Bare n Bliss products in Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative associative with sampling using purposive sampling which amounted to 110 respondents by distributing google forms to bare n bliss shopee consumers who are TikTok and Shopee application users that live in Surabaya. The data analysis technique used SPSS 27 software. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously, Tiktok content marketing, Promotion, and Online customer review had a positive and significant effect on Online impulsive buying.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of customer service, customer interaction, store layout, and store appearance on customer loyalty in Baradjawa, Surabaya. In the increasingly tight business competition, maintaining good relationships with customers and creating a comfortable store atmosphere are important strategies to build customer loyalty. This study uses quantitative and survey methods. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 126 active Baradjawa customers. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that customer service, customer interaction, store layout, and store appearance together have a significant influence on customer loyalty. Customer service does not have a significant influence on customer loyalty. Customer involvement has a significant influence on customer loyalty. Then the store layout has a significant influence on customer loyalty. Finally, store appearance has a significant influence on customer loyalty.
