Abstract

This research was conducted to find out: (1) analyzing the characteristics of agroforestry communities or agroforestry farmers in the Cantung area by stating, age, education, occupation, and number of family members. (2) find out what agroforestry patterns the people of Cantung are doing with sengon and other agricultural crops. (3) knowing the role of agroforestry in the income of the Cantung community which is under the Forest Management Unit (FMU). This study used respondents as many as 25 agroforestry farmers in the KPH Cantung area. Processing of analysis in this study was carried out in grouping tabulation of numbers using the calculation formula and entered into Excel. The results obtained in the study showed that intercropping is the best cropping pattern currently carried out by agroforestry farmers in the Cantung area because the average land owned by farmers is not so extensive, agroforestry plantation yields play a large role on farmers' incomes and varying community characteristics.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the potential sectors in improving the economy of Banjar Regency. This study uses input-output analysis to identify potential sectors through the calculation of Forward & Backward Linkage, and Multiplier effects. Input-output table was constructed by deriving Kalimantan Selatan Input-Output Table with an adjustment using Quotient Location. An adjustment using secondary data such as Gross Regional Domestic Product by sectors and by Expenditure, including employment data by sectors in Kabupaten BanjarThe results showed that (1) the processing industry; (2) Transportation, Warehousing and Communication; (3) Finance, Real Estate and Company Services; (4) Electricity, Gas and Water, (5) Construction is a potential sector in Banjar Regency. This sector needs to be developed because expanding this sector is expected to encourage other sectors.The limitations of this research are the limited data obtained and the data used are only the results of documentation by the related agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) To find out the income of the people who live around the oil palm company in Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency, (2) to find out the welfare of the community living around the palm oil company in Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency. Respondents in this study were 94 heads of households from Pulau Laut Tengah District, Kotabaru Regency with data collection techniques through questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and quantitative analysisThe results of this study indicate that the income of respondents working in oil palm companies has a salary of 2 million to 5 million rupiah depending on the status of work. Respondents related to oil palm companies and those not related to oil palm companies in the villages of Mekarpura, Salino and Sungai Pasir are quite well off and able to meet their daily needs

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the factors that influence the income of new entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector in Banjarmasin City (2) analyzing the dominant factors affecting the income of new entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector in Banjarmasin City. This type of research is a quantitative study using primary data obtained from questionnaires. Data was calculated by multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS 26 program.The results of this study prove that the factors of working capital, education, age, working hours, and gender statistically jointly affect business income. This means anything of the size or level of working capital, education, age, working hours, and gender will greatly affect the income of new entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector in Banjarmasin City. In addition, this study proves that working capital is a dominant factor influencing the income of new entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector in Banjarmasin City. It can be seen that the results of the research have the most significant effect. This is caused by working capital is a factor that plays an important role in running a business.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to know how the finances, worker, and raw material influence the wood processing industry; (2) to know which most dominant factor influences the wood processing industry in Banjarmasin City. This Research uses quantitative method with primer data obtains from the result of interview and  questionnaire. The data are calculated using double linier analysis which will be use test f (simultaneous) and test t (partial).The result of the Research shows that the factors of the finances  worker, and raw material influences significantly and positively to the wood processing industry simultaneously and partially. Workers becomes the most dominant factor influencing the output of the wood processing industry.The suggestions given based on the results of the analysis and discussion in this study (1) The owner of a wood processing industry business should be able to pay attention to several factors that can affect production results in order to increase production output; (2) Increase the demand for wood by means of good promotion and marketing by utilizing increasingly developing technology.

Abstract

            Fishermen’s income is influenced by various factors, both internal and external factors. In this study, internal factors such as length of time at sea, operational costs, experience and total wages of crew members variable (free). In this study to determine the effect of  variable length of time at sea, operational costs, experience, and the total wages of crew members on the income of fishermen in Pagatan Besar Village, Takisung District, Tanah Laut Regency. The data source used in this research is primary data in the form of interviews with a sample of 42 respondents. The analytical tool used is multiple linier regressionwith income as the dependent variable and four independent variables, namely length of fishing (days) and operational costs (Rp). Experience (years), and the total wages of the crew (Rp).  Multiple linier regression will test the effect simultaneously (f test) and partially (t test) through eviews 10 software. The results of this study indicate that the length of time fishing, operational costs, and total wages of crew members individually (partially) have a significant effect on income. While the experience variable does not have a significant effect. The variables of length of time at sea, operational costs, experience, total wages of crew members together (simultaneously) have a positive effect on the income of fishermen in Pagatan Besar village, Takisung District, Tanah Laut Regency. Based on the conslusions that can be applied in order to increase fishemen’s income, where all the variables in this study can increase the income of catch fishermen in Pagatan Besar Village.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world in the last 2 years has an impact on almost the entire global economy, including Indonesia as a result of this pandemic. The domestic economy experienced a significant decline, especially in the national micro, small and medium enterprises sector. The decline in population income affects internal economic inflation. Recovery of population income affects internal economic inflation. This economic recovery is one way to restore the efficiency of the national micro, small and medium enterprises economy. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. From this research paper, there are results that economic recovery for MSMEs affected by COVID can be carried out well, if there is cooperation between the government and the community as well as national micro, small and medium enterprises, because these contributions are needed so that the domestic economic sector can recover and become good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of the Human Development Index (HDI) and unemploymenton Economic Growth in the City of Banjarmasin. This type of research is quantitative research with secondary data. While the location of research is in the city of Banjarmasin, the data used in this study arethe Human Development Index (HDI) and unpleyment data in Banjarmasin City for 11 years in the 2009-2019 period. The data that has beendata obtained is then analyzed by analyzing multiple linear regression equations with the help og the SPSS software program version 26.0.The research results in a partial analysis of the Human Development Index (HDI) signifanctly influence economic growth in the city of Banjarmasin. Unemployment is partially negative and significant effect on economic growt in the city of Banjarmasin and simultaneously the Human Development Index (HDI) and unemployment have a significant effect on economic growth in the city of Banjarmasin during 2009-2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of harvested area, inflation, and economic growth on the exchange rate of farmers in South Kalimantan.This research was conducted in South Kalimantan by looking at Harvest Area, Inflation, economic growth and NTP in the period 2009-2018. This research is included in the type of quantitative descriptive research. This study uses secondary data and data analysis used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis.The results of this study include: Harvest area has negative and significant effect on NTP. Inflation does not have a significant effect on NTP; economic growth has a positive and significant effect on NTP; harvested area, inflation, and economic growth simultaneous have a significant effect on NTP.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effects of economic growth, social assistance and work opportunities simultaneously against poverty reduction in Banjarmasin City and (2) to find out the dominant factor that influence poverty reduction in Banjarmasin City. This research type is quantitative research. While the location of this research is Banjarmasin City, and the object of the research is economic growth, social assistance, work opportunities and poverty in Banjarmasin City in 2009-2018.The results of this study show that Economic Growth, Social Assistance and Work Opportunities at the same time had no effect on Poverty Reduction in Banjarmasin City in 2009-2018. The results of this study show that Economic Growth is the dominant factor that affect Poverty Reduction in Banjarmasin City in 2009-2018.
