Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the willingness to pay (WTP) users of Banjarbakula Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) services (2) determine the effect of education, income, and number of family members on the WTP value of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) respondents Banjarbakula.This type of research is quantitative research with the method used that is using the Stated Preference method and multiple linear regression analysis. The variables used are education, income, and number of family members. The data used are primary data taken from the source, namely Banjarbakula BRT users and the Transportation Office of South Kalimantan Province.The results showed the average willingness to pay respondents amounted to Rp 5,720. If there is an increase in quality, the average willingness to pay the respondent becomes Rp10,180. The factors of education, income and number of family members together affect the WTP value of users of Banjarbakula BRT services.Keywords: Education, Income, Number of Family Members, WTP BRT Banjarbakula

Abstract

A country or territory will not develop if it is not supported by economic growth. Economic growth is one of the indicators to measure the success of development. The purpose of this research is to know the superior sectors of economy in Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, so that it can assist in development and priority of government in development. To answer the problem, then used some method of data analysis that is: Location Quotient Analysis (LQ) and Shift-Share Analysis. The data used in this research is secondary data in the value of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency at constant prices year 2012-2016. The result of the research based on Location Quotient (LQ) analysis shows that the main base sector in Hulu Sungai Tengah is the sector of accommodation and drinking (1.97%), government administration, defense and compulsory social security (1.87%), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (1.82%), education services (1.72%), real estate (1.58%), waste water management and recycling (1.32%), information and communications (1.32 %), procurement of electricity and gas (1.31%), other services (1.27%), large and retail trade and auto and motorcycle repairs (1.21%), construction (1.19%), (1.19%), health services and social activities (1.11%). The result of Shift-Share analysis shows that there has been a shift of economic structure from the primary sector to the secondary sector.Keywords: Commodity Sector, Location Quotient, Shift Share

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine: (1) The Effect of economic growth on poverty in Banjarmasin City, (2) The number of population in poverty in Banjarmasin City, (3) the Effect of inflation on poverty in Banjarmasin City.This type of research is quantitative research with the method used that is using multiple linear regression methods. The variables used are poverty, economic growth, population, and inflation. While the data used to analyze this research uses time-series data by using secondary data that are data sources that do not directly provide data to data collectors, such as data from the Central Statistics Agency (CSA) Banjarmasin City.The results showed the variables of economic growth, population, and inflation together affected poverty, and economic growth factors dominantly influenced poverty in the city of Banjarmasin in 2007-2018.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know (1) what is the price of carpet, consumer income and age take effect simultaneously to a request of the carpet Market in Sudimampir town of Banjarmasin; (2) where the most dominant Factor effect partially to a request of the carpet Market in Sudimampir town of Banjarmasin.Respondents who were sampled in the processing of the data amounted to 41 people. Data processed by using multiple linear analysis to see the influence of the independent variable (the price of carpet, consumer income and age) of the dependent variable (the demand for carpet).Multiple linear regression results this research proves a significant relationship between the price of carpets and carpet requests against consumer income in the market Sudimampir the city of Banjarmasin.This relationship indicates that the higher the price of the carpet then request the carpet will go down, otherwise when the price is low then the carpet carpet demand is going up.In addition, the greater the income consumers then request the carpet will be increased, on the contrary when consumer income is small then the carpet request will be declined.As for the age to do not significantly to request the carpet on the market Sudimampir the city of Banjarmasin.Keywords: Demand For Carpets, Carpet Prices, Consumer Income, Age

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of education level, health, and economic growth both simultaneously and partially on the number of people deficient in the District of Tanah Laut in 2010 – 2018. The data used in secondary data is sourced from the Central Statistic Agency in Tanah Laut District. The data analysis technique used in multiple regression analysis. Test results using Eviews 10 obtained the results of education level,  health, and economic growth simultaneously had a significant effect on the number of people deficient in the District of Tanah Laut. Whereas partially of education level has a negative and significant impact, health is the most dominant factor. It has a positive and significant effect, and economic growth has an insignificant impact on the number of people deficient in the District of Tanah Laut.

Abstract

The researchis testing whether the magnitude is significant simultaneously and the most dominant variable number of tourist visits, hotel occupancy rates, length of sray of tourist to the economic growth of South Kalimantan periode 2002-2016. The research data used is secondary data, which is collecting data through the publication of the Central Statistics Agency of South Kalimantan Province. The technique used by this study is descriptive analysis and multiple liner analysis techniques. Bases on the analysis obtained results tha the number of tourist visits, hotel occupancy rates, and length of stay of tourists influences simultaneously on economic growth and the most dominant variabel is the number of tourist visits. While the variable length of stay of tourist is not significant to economic growth. The results of variable testing regression were carried out through SPSS version 20.Keywords: Number of Tourist Visits, Hotel Occupancy Rates, Touris Stay Lengths, Economic Growth.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) analyze the effect of tariffs, working hours, and the number of orders on the revenue of GO-JEK drivers in Banjarmasin City; (2)  find out which factors predominantly influence the revenue of GO-JEK drivers in Banjarmasin City. The results of this study indicate that tariffs and the number of orders individually (partially) and jointly (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on the revenue of GO-JEK drivers in Banjarmasin City, while working hours have a negative and insignificant effect on the revenue of GO-JEK drivers in Banjarmasin City. The most dominant factor influencing GO-JEK driver revenue is tariff. Keywords : Tariff, Working Hours, Order Amount, Income of  GO-JEK Drivers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the Comparison of Income Inequality between Regions, Classification of Region, and Level of Interaction between Region in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan Provinces. The data used in this research is Secondary Data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical techniques used are Williamson Index, Classen Typology, and Gravity Model.The results showed that income inequality between regions in South Kalimantan was higher than Central Kalimantan. Regional Classification in South Kalimantan is dominated by Developing Regions, while Central Kalimantan is dominated by Relatively Lagging Regions. And based on the Gravity Model, South Kalimantan with the Reference City of Banjarmasin has a higher Gravity Index value than Central Kalimantan with the Reference City of Palangka Raya.Keywords : Economic Growth, Regional Inequality, Williamson Index, Classen Typology, Gravity Model

Advisor: Dr. Dewi Rahayu, SE, MP.This research was conducted to (1) analyze the effect of Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Funds, Profit Sharing Funds and Fiscal Stress that affect the level of independence both simultaneously and partially in the Province of South Kalimantan; (2) to analyze what are the most dominant variables affecting the level of independence in the province of South Kalimantan.The data obtained in this study is from the official website of the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, namely the Central Kalimantan Statistics Agency, which deals with deals with the South Kalimantan Provincial Government Financial Report and the 2002-2016 Budget Realization Report which is available in BPS publication data entitled South Kalimantan in Figures.The results of the study show that, (1) Local Revenue, General Allocation Funds, Profit Sharing Funds, and Fiscal Stress have an affect on the level of independence simultaneously; (2) Regional Original Income dan Profit Sharing Funds affect the Level of Independence; (3) General Allocation Funds and Fiscal Stress have no significant effect on the Level of Independence; and (4) Regional Original Income is the most dominant variable that affects the Level of Independence.Keywords: Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Funds, Revenue Sharing Funds, Fiscal Stress, Level of Independence.

Abstract

This Research was conducted to find out how he economic impact of tourism on the economic development of local communities and how the role of the community towards the existence of religius tourism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.The results of analiysis in the study can be obtained that the direct, indirect and follow-up economic felt by local communities. Dicert economic impacts include rental shops, clothing stores, dining places and parking. The indirect economic impact include transportation and lodging services. The following impacts include road access and the potensial for the other religious tourism.
