Abstract

Sleeping is a basic need of human being that should be fulfilled. Sleeping disorder may cause serious problem or even the decrease of life quality. This is often faced by elderly which cause the decrease of sleep quality. The therapy of foot soaking in warm water and the rose aromatherapy are non-pharmacological therapy that is useful to overcome the sleep problem. This research is aimed at determining the effectiveness comparison between foot soaking in warm water and rose aromatherapy on the sleeping quality of elderly in Mandalika Social House for Elderly West Nusa tenggara. This research was designed to be quasi-experimental study (two-group comparison pretest and post test design). The samples were 22 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The instrument to measure the sleep quality is Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. The data were analyzed with mann Whitney U. Based on the statistic test with the value of significance is 0.136 > 0.05 showing that Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted which means that there is difference between foot soaking in warm water and rose aromatherapy on the sleeping quality of elderly. The research inferred that there is the effectiveness between foot soaking in warm water and rose aromatherapy on the sleeping quality of elderly. So that both foot soaking in warm water and rose aromatherapy could be considered as alternative treatment to help elderly from sleep disorder of elderly. Abstract

Triage is a selection system and the selection of patients to ensure the urgency level and the priority to give the treatment to the patients. Based on the data, there are 18 nurses in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju West Lombok Regency. The results of the initial observation in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju West Lombok regency shows that the initial treatment processdid not include the triage process, for example the patients get the treatment directly without determining the level of the urgency first. In this study, the researcher used descriptive correlational design. The population and the sample of this study were all of the nurses in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju, West Lombok regency which amounts to 18 people. The instruments that are used in this study were observation sheet and questionnaire. The data analysis that is used in this study was chi-square with the significance level of 0,05%. In order to know the relation between the nurses’ knowledge of triage and the implementation of triage in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju West Lombok regency, the researcher used chi-square to analyse the data. Based on the data analysis, the results shows that the calculation of SPSS with the significance level of P value = 0,040 with the error level α= 0,05. Therefore, the P value is < nilai α (0,040 < 0,05). In conclusion, this study shows that there is a relation between the level of the nurses’ knowledge of triage and the application of triage in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju West Lombok regency. Therefore, from this study, the hospital can get the input to revise the standard procedure about triage in IGD Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Patut Patuh Patju West Lombok Regency. Abstract

Human Immunodefficiency Virus (HIV) merupakan virus penyebab Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) yang dapat menyerang siapa saja termasuk TKI sebagai salah satu kelompok migran yang berisiko. Rendahnya tingkat pendidikan formal pada para TKI berkorelasi lurus dengan rendahnya pengetahuan mereka tentang HIV/AIDS. Untuk mengatasi kurangnya pengetahuan ini maka dilaksanakanlah program Pembekalan Akhir Pemberangkatan yang memuat materi tentang HIV/AIDS. Namun banyak PJTKI yang lalai untuk melaksanakan PAP tersebut sehingga tetap saja pengetahuan para TKI terbatas tentang HIV/AIDS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan crossectional analytic. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh TKI baik laki-laki maupun perempuan (TKW) di Kabupaten Lombok Timur Propinsi NTB.Tehnik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tehnik accidental sampling. Sampel berjumlah 461 responden. Dari pengolahan data didapatkan nilai korelasi Chi-Square Test sebesar 0.004 yang berarti lebih kecil dari nilai Alfa 0.05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan antara pembekalan akhir pemberangkatan dengan perilaku berisiko tertular HIV/AIDS pada TKI di Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Bagi stakeholder yang terlibat dalam pengiriman TKI agar lebih mengefektifkan pembekalan akhir pemberangkatan terutama materi pencegahan HIV / AIDS bagi para TKI agar mengurangi kecenderungan perilaku berisiko tertular HIV / AIDS. Kata kunci : Prilaku berisiko HIV/AIDS, Pembekalan Akhir Pemberangkatan.
