Abstract

The aim this study was to find out the feasibility of wicker business in mimika regency.The analytical tool used is one sample t-test in order to test whether a particular value (parameter given as comparison) is significantly differentor not with a sample average.The result of the research showed that the wicker business in Mimika regency is feasible to be implemented. One sample t-test shows the t-value (-102.797) <t table (2.093) so Ho is accepted that means no significant difference between the actual value of the non-financial aspect and the ideal value of the nonfinancial aspect, which means the effort Concerned is non-financially feasible

Abstract

The aim this studyto analyze the ratio of the fulfillment of the Elementary School Education Institution in the Mimika Baru District of Mimika Regency. Data collection tool used in the research is to conduct interviews and direct observation to get the ratio of needs and fulfillment of Primary School. The result of this research shows that the requirement of the elementary school education institution is in accordance with the number of elementary school children in Mimika Baru District of Mimika Regency, which are 50 elementary schools which are available with the number of primary school children as many as 27,263 children, but the problem is the deployment and capacity not evenly distributed

Abstract

The aim of this research to find out whether there was a significant difference between the social life quality of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.To mesuare the quality of social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency, used four indicators namely ethics, aesthetic, religious and social value.Data collecting done by literature study, observation and questionnaire. To analyze the data that obtained used frequency distribution analysis by giving scala to the question than compare the quality of social life of community that work in formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.Based on the results of the research, there was not the significant difference of quality partially and simultaneously between social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency. Partial was done by comparing the value of X2 table and value of X2 count. The partial test results done by comparing between value of Dtable and Do. Value of Do obtained is 0.22 while the value of Dtable obtained from each indicators are the ethical value of 0.01, aesthitic value of 0.16, religious value of 0.04 and the social value of 0.03. From value of Dtable obtained in all indicators of the quality of social life of community is lower than the value of Do so that partially there was not significant difference in quality between social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency. While simultaneous test is done by comparing the value of Do and Dtable obtained Do < Dtable is 0.03 <0.11 Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted rejected which means there was not significant quality difference simultaneously between the social life of community that work in the formal and informal sector in Mimika regency.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to know the significant difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency. (2) to know the factors that influence the income difference between trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency.The analysis instruments used to measure the income difference of trained and non trained farmer in Mimika regency are median test.The result of analysis showed that there was a significant difference between the trained and non trained farmer.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) analyze the growth classification of economic sectors in the Mimika Regency; (2) analyze the basic sector of the economy in the Mimika Regency; (3) analyzing the share and shifts in the economy sector Mimika Regency.This study uses secondary data obtained from BPS-StatisticsPapua Province, BPS-Statistics Mimika, and Department of Planning and Regional Development Mimika. Data were analyzed using analysis Klassen Typology, Location Quotient, and Shift-Share analysis.The results of this research show that: (1) Sector classified as andeveloped sector in the Mimika Regency is Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accomodation, Food and Beverages. (2) Sectors is a basic sector in Mimika is the sector of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, sector of Electricity and Gas, sector Water, Waste Management, cesspit and recycling, Construction sector, the sector of Wholesale and Retail trade, Cars and Motorcycles Reparations, sectors Transportation and Warehousing, sector of Accommodation, Food and Beverages, sector Information and Communications, Fnance and insurance sector, Real Estate, Public administration, defense, and compulsory social security, and sector Other Services. (3) The sectors that have competitive advantages (D) in Mimika are sectors of Manufacturing industry, Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accommodation, food and beverages. (4) By combining the results of the analysis Klassen Typology, Location Quotient, and Shift Share, then the sectors which are the leading sectors in the Mimika Regency is the Electricity and Gas sector, sector of Accommodation, food and beverages
