Jurnal Didaktika Pendidikan Dasar is a leading peer-reviewed and open-access journal, which publishes high-quality and innovative scientific work at the forefront of all sciences in the form of interdisciplinary research and book reviews in the field of basic education. This journal is published by the Directorate GTK Pendidikan Dasar, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, and published three times a year (March, July, and November) with E-ISSN: 2746-0525 and P-ISSN: 2580-006X. The main objective of this journal is to publish scientific papers in the field of basic education from teachers, school principals, supervisors, and other educational personnel (such as school administration staff, laboratory staff, library staff), as well as observers of basic education. Self-efficacy and mathematics communication are problems associated with the CATCH program and are the subject of this research. The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of CATCH program based on peer tutoring to self-efficacy and the students’ mathematics communication. CATCH program is develop into some levels, those are pre development, development, and post development. The Research and Development methodology that is used the system of Akker, it consists of introductionand formativetest with Tessemer as the guidance. It measures: self evaluation; expert review; one to one; small group; field test. The subject of this research is the students of Junior High School with 20 students of Grade 8. The self- efficacy scoring is got from self-efficacy scale and the data of mathematics communication ability based on mathematics communication test. The expert review shows that CATCH program based on peer tutoring to fulfill the standard of material, design, and language. The result of one to one test shows the positive result based on the students’ response after getting the program and the students’ responsibility towards the program. Then, the test of small group shows the positive result of the reading efficiency and their understanding. The research shows that the CATCH program based on peer tutoring is an effective way to improve self-efficacy and the students mathematics communication.

The problem in this research is the low poetry writing skills of the VIII grade student sof State Junior High School 6 Bontang. This type of research is classroom action research. Retrieval of data using observation, tests, and interviews. The author conducted two treatments in this study. The first without using media and the second using image media and dictionaries glossary. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that learning using image media and dictionaries can increase the activeness and skills of writing poetry for VIII grade students. The skill of writing poetry in students has increased, we can see from the average score of the students. In the initial conditions the average value is 40, in the first cycle it increases to an average of 60, (still not reaching the KKM value) in the second cycle it has increased quite significantly to an average value of 85. Thus it can be said that the application of image media and dictionaries glossary is quite significant in improving the poetry writing skills of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Bontang.

This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes and teacher and student activities in the learning process using the Two Stay Two Stray method on Theme 6 Sub-theme 1 Animal and Plant Diversity. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The data sources were all students in grade IV SD Negeri 9 Jangka for the 2018/2019 academic year, totaling 16 people. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and field notes. The results showed that the application of Two Stay Two Stray learning can improve student learning outcomes on the material diversity of animals and plants in class IV SD Negeri 9 Term. This can be seen from the results of the final test cycle I obtained a percentage of 62.50 percent and in cycle II increased to 87.50 percent. The activities of teachers and students in the learning process are included in the very good category and students are seen to be active in the implementation of learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray model can improve learning outcomes and teacher and student activities on science material in elementary schools.

The purpose of this article is to develop a media-based 21st-century learning model in the form of cognitive and affective learning media to cultivate Pancasila values and be aware of the constitution (SIPANCA), test the feasibility and practicality of the media, and measure the effectiveness of the media. The development method is used to refer to the development steps of Gall and Borg (2008) and adopted into five phases. The results of this development are the creation of final media with specifications by affective and cognitive goals, and this media is declared feasible by media experts and field users with high eligibility criteria with an average score of 3,875 out of a total score 4 (3.875/4) for the validation of SIPANCA game; the validation of SIPANCA application (3.75/4); the validation of microcontroller-based SIPANCA shielding media (3.75/4); the practically test of SIPANCA game (3.875/4); the practically test of SIPANCA application (3.975/4); and the practically test of microcontroller-based SIPANCA shielding media (3.93/4). The development of a 21st-century media-based learning model of character with the theme of Pancasila values and awareness of the constitution provides theoretical benefits to the reference of studies in the fields of education, learning, and media development related to learning strategies in schools.

The research was aimed at improving the student’s activeness and speaking skill by using role exchange model and character doll media. The research consisted two cycles.The procedures were: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study used two data. The qualitative data through observation the student’s activeness in learning process.The quantitative data were obtained by speaking test performance. The students’ activeness with high score in preliminary observation reached 5 students (17,86%) improved 23 students (82,14%) in Cycle II. It can be seen that all students paid attention their teacher, engaged in problem solving and applied they learned. Most of them also had ideas and gave the questions. The data of the speaking skill assessment in preliminary observation showed that 42,85% (12 students) got the same score or above KKM with the average 61,77 increased 89.29% (23 students) with the average score was 77.3 in second cycle. Improvement was significant especially in student’s vocabulary mastery, comprehension and fluency. While, grammar and pronunciation improved although was not significant. The conclusion of this research is that: (1) the students’speaking skill improves from the previous condition, first cycle and then second cycle; 2) the students’ activeness in English teaching learning also improves.

The research objective was to improve critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes through the use of Pakar Pati (Pohon Akar Pangkat Tiga) media of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kendaga. The research subjects in the study were 25 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kendaga. The method used in this research was classroom action research, by performing two actions in two cycles. Each cycle had four stages of activity, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicated that the use of cube root tree media (Pakar Pati) can improve critical thinking skills in learning mathematics for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kendaga. Students' ability to formulate problems, collect data, analyze, ask and answer questions, make observations and provide conclusions increases. Learning outcomes increased in the ability to solve problems and understand the cube root material.

Motivation and writing skill become interesting issue to know by all teachers. One of the writing assignments for eighth graders is writing greeting card. This study was aimed to examine whether the implementing of project-based learning and the use of Canva can improve students’ motivation and writing skills. The subject of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) was 30 students of class VIIIE of SMPN I Terbanggi Besar in the academic year 2019/2020 consisting 10 males and 20 females. Data collecting techniques were conducted by giving questionnaire to know the students’ motivation and writing project to know the students’ writing skill. This study conducted in two cycles. The finding of cycle I and cycle II show that the students’ score for motivation and writing aspects was increase. The mean score for the the student’s motivation was 59,9 in preliminary study, 74,1 in cycle I and 84,9 in cycle II. The mean score for students’ writing was 56,7 in preliminary study, 69,3 in cycle I and 79,6 in cycle II. It can be concluded that the implementing of project-based learning and the use of Canva can improve students’ motivation and writing skill.

This study aims to create a practical tool for hydrostatic pressure material, increasing student motivation, and learning outcomes. The lack of student motivation, namely the desire to learn science subjects and the learning outcomes of hydrostatic pressure material is caused by several factors, one of which is the lack of teaching aids or practical tools for hydrostatic pressure material. The study was conducted using a one-group pre-test – post-test trial design, while the development of the Egg Cannon Kit used the ASSURE model which consisted of 6 stages, namely Analyzer learner characteristic, (2) State standard and performance objective, (3) Select methods, Media, and materials, (4) Utilize technology, media, and materials, (5) Require learner participation and (6) Evaluation and revision. The research on the development of the Egg Cannon Kit was tested on 8E grade students consisting of 32 students with heterogeneous compositions. The use of the Egg Cannon Kit in learning can increase students' learning motivation in this case the student's desire to learn about science subjects, especially hydrostatic pressure material by 43.36% and increase learning outcomes with an average n-gain of 0.8 in the high category.

The problem to be solved in this research is how to increase the learning motivation of students who are decreasing in online learning in Sciences subjects. This study aims to describe the implementation of online learning using the practical method and to find out the extent to which this method can increase students' learning motivation. The research method used classroom action research type experiment with the Kemmis-Taggart model in two cycles. Practicum in online learning is carried out at the home of each student using tools and materials at home and in the surrounding environment without leaving the learning objectives in basic competencies. Practical guides, student worksheets, and student responses to learning methods were made using Google Form. Activities and work results in the form of answers to conceptual questions and photos or videos of experimental activities are monitored with a Google Spreadsheet linked to the Google Form. Online learning with the practicum method has been able to increase the learning motivation of students with an indicator of an increase in the number of students who take part in the online learning from 30% to 50%, and an increase in mastery of the concept of subject matter with an increase in the average value of learning outcomes from 37.2 to 74.38 in cycle I and 80.67 in cycle II.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Two Stay Two Stray terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi bangun ruang siswa kelas II SD 1 Barongan Kabupaten Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental dengan bentuk nonequalivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh karena jumlah populasi relatif sedikit. Hasil analisis n-gain menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol memperoleh 0,29 dengan kriteria kurang sedangkan kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray mendapatkan 0,39 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil Uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung = 2,104 sedangkan ttabel = 2,001 atau thitung > ttabel dan signifikansinya sebesar 0,040 sehingga H0 ditolak. Uji regresi linear model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa materi bangun ruang sebesar 89,3%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar materi bangun ruang antara siswa pada kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan hasil belajar materi bangun ruang pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray.
