Palmyra Fiber as Additional Materials on Solid Concrete Brick of Aggregate
The use of waste as an additional material on the building work was increasingly actively developed, such as straw, styrofoam, bagasse, cow manure. The key drivers of the use of waste is the potential for waste is increasing, due to the depletion of non-renewable resources. Papyrus rod diameter 60 cm, length 30 meters, has a volume of 5,652m3 as well as the edges of the Rods that can be used for construction with a thickness of 3 cm has a volume 0,942m3, Pith and fiber volume content of the stem 4,71m3/rod, then in one rod, there are 2 to 3 bunches each fruit bunches yield as much as 20 to 30 items for one harvest, by weight of fruit fiber 101.2 gram / fruit, Fiber characteristics are round and smooth is expected to reduce cracks in solid concrete brick and also can reduce the use of sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of the composition of the additional material of Rods fiber content and Fiber of palmyra fruit with a percentage 3%, 6% and 9%, mixing ratio; 1 cement and 5 sand in the manufacture of solid concrete brick. Rods fiber content used the average Ø1,031mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 39,305N / cm and fruit fiber to an average value Ø0,40mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 33,691N / cm. Making test specimen with a length of 20cm, width 10cm and thick 8cm. The test results of compressive strength after 14 days with the lowest value at 3% of additional material combination of fiber content of 6% fiber stem and fruit by 70,384Kg/cm²with a water content of 15,254% In weight position 2,935Kg as well as the highest value on the combination of additional material 0% rods fiber content and 3% fruit fiber by 98,821Kg/cm² with a water content of 15,031% In weight position 3,058Kg. While N (without additional material) with a compressive strength below the average id 63,704Kg/cm2 with water content of 10,167 in weight position 3,072Kg. Research result of solid concrete brick with additional material of rods fiber content and palmyra fruit fiber was included on the type B70, the average value of the compressive strength of 78.57 Kg / cm² (SNI-03-1348-1989) with a water content of <25%.

The aim and background: This present research has been done in order to review the effectiveness of communal behaviouralcognitivetherapy over addiction potential and tendency of Shahed university students suffering from social phobia. The method ofresearch: This research is a study over clinical trial. The sample of research included 30 students of Shahed University who had got thehighest score according to social phobia test on SPIN and suffering from social phobia. Before entering into therapy, these studentsresponded to both addiction potential questionnaire (APS) and addiction acknowledgment questionnaire (AAS). After beinghomogenized, the samples divided into two groups of control and experimental. The experimental group placed under train ofbehavioural-cognitive therapy over 20 sessions and the control group did not place under any training program. The data collectioninstrument was self reporting which was analysed, using the descriptive statistics, the correlation coefficient, the covariance analysis andSPSS 19 software. Findings: There has been a significant different between addiction potential and addiction tendency while enteringinto research, after therapy and 6 weeks later, but from this view, no significant difference was observed in control group. It means thatbehavioural-cognitive therapy has effect on reduction of addiction potential and tendency.

This paper makes an effort to show the effectiveness of keyword technique as a vocabulary retention technique. The studywas a one-group pretest-posttest experiment and aimed to investigate the effect of keyword technique on vocabularies retention ability of40 Bangkok University students and explore their attitude towards the use of keyword technique. The instruments were the vocabularytests, and the questionnaire exploring attitude towards keyword technique. The pretest and posttest scores of the experimental groupwere calculated by descriptive statistics and compared by using a dependent t-Test measure. It was found that students obtained higherscores for the posttest than the pretest scores at the 0.05 level of significance. In addition, their attitude towards using the keywordtechnique was at a high level. Moreover, the results from this study supported that using keyword technique helped the students storeand retrieve a new bunch of vocabularies, motivated them to learn English language and expanded their imagination and creativity.Pedagogical implications into vocabulary retention technique were suggested.

This study surveyed the facing challenges in the Albanian nation, at the beginning of XX century. As a result challengesaccompanied definitely its shrink literature in suppressed conscience. Time as a concept had nothing to do with the chain of phenomenaaround. Time in itself, in this geographical and historical terrain, and in its literature, could not be in motion, became a painful stagnationdetached from the light and the effects of objective time or the reflections of developments in the whole. Attempts to capture the lost timeand facing with reality, would reasonably be met with the resistance and gears of real time and the difficulties which brought theconfrontation with different mentalities, the general development of other nations, hence the philosophies of thought and theirrepresentative literature of their developments.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between organizational factors with the voluntary turnover. A total of100 workers in the automobile sector were selected as the respondents in answering the questionnaires. The opinion from those peopleabout the factors of voluntary turnover is readily accessible. The result of the study indicates that there are significant relationshipbetween job responsibilities, compensation and benefit, supervision as well as peer relationship with voluntary job turnover. This studyconcludes that, organizational factors may influence the voluntary turnover as the automobile industry is faced with high rate of voluntaryturnover and most of the employees agreed that the factors above contribute to the turnover problems. It can be implied that voluntaryturnover should be reduced in order to maintain the image and profit of the company. Future work suggests that the company must takeaction to solve this issue and in order to retain current employees.

This study seeks to scrutinize how Iranian EFL teachers correct learners; in other words, the speech act ofcorrection they employ when providing feedback on learners’ errors is examined in this study. Due to the fact thatteachers are different considering their gender and teaching experience, these two variables are taken into account in thecurrent research. To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire was distributed among 180 Iranian EFL teachers of bothgenders (male and female), with different teaching experiences (0-5, 5-10, and above 10 years). At the end, teachers’responses to each option were transformed into tables and bar graphs displaying their frequency to be analyzedafterwards. Finally, the results were discussed and some suggestions were made.

The purpose of this study is to determine school administrators’ state of showing administrative responsiveness towards teachers and to revealthe administrative responsiveness issues expected from school administrators. The qualitative research method was used in the study. The study group wascomposed of 20 teachers who were working at a primary school in the academic year 2011 to 2012 in the city of Sakarya and pursuing their graduatedegrees. The interview technique was used in the study. Teachers were interviewed by using semi-structured interview forms. The data was analyzed withthe content analysis technique. The findings of the study can be explained as follows: Based on the results of the study, it is understood that schooladministrators showed administrative responsiveness by acting fairly in teachers’ appointments in the school, asking their opinions and taking intoconsideration their individual situations. Teachers’ opinions regarding school administrators’ administrative responsiveness towards their professionaldevelopment varied fifty-fifty in terms of supporting teachers’ graduate studies. In addition, it was also discovered that school administrators motivated,supported and encouraged teachers to attend seminars and courses, and showed administrative responsiveness towards their professional development byproviding the necessary ease. Further, it was seen that school administrators showed administrative responsiveness by appraising teachers about theirwork achievements and providing administrative support. In addition to these, school administrators showed administrative responsiveness towardsprotecting teachers’ personal interests in and out of school, and supported them in protecting and exercising their rights, acted fairly in order to ensure thatteachers did not experience any loss of a right and made efforts to make sure that rights were not delayed. Along with that, very few teachers in the studystated that school administrators prioritized the corporate interests rather than protecting their personal rights and that unless they defended themselves,their rights were not protected. It was understood that school administrators demonstrated sensitive behaviors by being friendly in mutual relationships withteachers in and out of school, attending various shared activities and listening to them. The issues that teachers would like to see school administratorsshowing administrative responsiveness to were listed as being appreciated, considering problems at school and communication with teachers.
