Abstract

Suboptimal land use by farmers for crop cultivation activities faces obstacles including less fertile soil conditions, low soil pH and iron poisoning. To overcome this problem, efforts are needed to increase farmers' knowledge and skills, especially in the use of organic fertilizers, one of which is bokashi. The aim of this PKM activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of partners in using bokashi for plant cultivation. To achieve this goal, the method used in implementing this PKM activity is: 1). Counseling is carried out face to face with partner groups. Extension material regarding organic fertilizer, making and applying bokashi, cultivating leaf lettuce, and farmer group management; 2). Demonstration/practice of bokashi application on growing media 3). Mentoring, mentoring activities are carried out through visits to partner locations to see the results of bokashi practices that have been carried out, and holding discussions with partners. The problem with the production aspect in this farmer group is: the use of bokashi for cultivating vegetable crops is still not optimal. The solution offered to overcome production aspect problems is to transfer knowledge and technology for the use/application of bokashi for the cultivation of vegetable crops through the use of agricultural waste and available livestock materials to be used as substitutes/substitutes for inorganic fertilizers. Through the PKM activities that have been carried out, it can be seen that there has been an increase in participants' knowledge about bokashi from the initial condition of 36.63% to 94%.

Abstract

Koperasi Bina Sukses Jejama is a cooperative body which operates in the field of freshwater fish cultivation. The partner business location is on Jl. Raya Sukawangi, Sukawangi village, Performance subdistrict, Pringsewu district. Koperasi Bina Sukses Jejama has a driving force named Hidayat Septa Kesuma. Koperasi Bina Sukses Jejama has been established since 2020 and currently has 7 fish breeder members with several types of fish, namely tilapia, goldfish and catfish. The problem is with partners: 1) Losses from production results, such as less than optimal production results or many fish dying, caused by changes in temperature and pH of fish pond water; 2) Partners do not yet have a control system for basic freshwater fish components that can monitor the temperature and acidity or pH of the water in the pond; 3) Partners do not yet have an independent source of electrical energy to supply production; 4)Partners always feels disadvantaged because the harvest is always played with by the fish collectors in the village; 5) There are very few fish collectors in Sukawangi village so they cannot accommodate all the harvest from the fish farmers to be sold on the market. Based on the priority problems faced by partners, the solutions offered by the proposing team for this PKM scheme are: 1) Applying a solar panel based water temperature and pH level sensor; 2) Implement digital marketing applications; 3) Assistance and training in the use of tools and applications. The result of this service is an increase in fish harvest from the previous 1-2 tons in 3-4 months to 2.5 tons. Evaluation results from digital marketing application training activities also show that 83% of Bina Sukses Jejama Cooperative members' knowledge and understanding has increased in terms of using digital marketing applications

Abstract

In general delays in promotion to lecturer rank are caused by two things, namely factors from the lecturers themselves and administrative system factors that were less supportive. Even though the rank and position of a lecturer will affect the quality of learning in tertiary institutions, it will even affect the accreditation of study programs. The objectives of this activity are: To provide education to lecturers in the PMIPA department about the flow/procedure and calculation of the credit score for each component for promotions and positions. The methods in the activities are lectures, discussions and questions and answers. To determine the participants' understanding of the socialization material by distributing a questionnaire on Google Forms. From the results of the evaluation carried out on the content presented at the Operational Guide to Credit Score Assessment socialization the most satisfied the participants as well as the benefits and interesting and informative presentation of the material. The level of understanding of the participants on the socialization material was generally satisfactory. The lecturers enthusiastically participated in the socialization from the start to the end of the event and with the many questions asked. To make it easier to archive documents and administration for Tridharma activities that have been carried out from the start, they have been separated so that it is easy to find when proposing them. A team needs to be formed by the Faculty to assist in the administrative process of lecturer promotion so that it can motivate lecturers to apply for a rank.
