The main focus of this paper is on the use of resampling techniques to construct predictive models from data and the goal is to identify the best possible model which can produce better predications. Bagging or Bootstrap aggregating is a general method for improving the performance of given learning algorithm by using a majority vote to combine multiple classifier outputs derived from a single classifier on a bootstrap resample version of a training set. A bootstrap sample is generated by a random sample with replacement from the original training set. Inspired by the idea of bagging, we present an improved method based on a distance function in decision trees, called modified bagging (or weighted Bagging) in this study. The experimental results show that modified bagging is superior to the usual majority vote. These results are confirmed by both real data and artificial data sets with random noise. The Modified bagged classifier performs significantly better than usual bagging on various tree levels for all sample sizes. An interesting observation is that the weighted bagging performs somewhat better than usual bagging with sumps.

Object detection and tracking are essential and testing undertaking in numerous PC vision appliances. To distinguish the object first find a way to accumulate information. In this design, the robot can distinguish the item and track it just as it can turn left and right position and afterward push ahead and in reverse contingent on the object motion. It keeps up the consistent separation between the item and the robot. We have designed a webpage that is used to display a live feed from the camera and the camera can be controlled by the user efficiently. Implementation of machine learning is done for detection purposes along with open cv and creating cloud storage. The pan-tilt mechanism is used for camera control which is attached to our 3-wheel chassis robot through servo motors. This idea can be used for surveillance purposes, monitoring local stuff, and human-machine interaction.

Cardiac Monitoring refers monitoring heart activity to determine patient’s condition relative to their cardiac rhythm. The reason of having cardiac monitoring is to determine any unusual activity of heart; so that it can diagnosed before the severity condition of patient increases. There are many ways to determine condition of health of heart. There are many others, however, in this paper flexible and comfortable ways are discussed without inconvenience for the patient. For example – flexible device on the finger, flexible skin like monitor small enough size of a bandage, and self-powered cardiac pacemaker using nanogenerator.

This is a response to article by Dr. Ramadhan Tosepu and his colleagues entitled: “Correlation between the weather and the Covid-19 pandemic in Jakarta, Indonesia†in Science of The Total Environment, Vol. 725; and Dr. Muhammad Farhan Bashir and his colleagues entitled: “Correlation between the climate indicators and the Covid-19 pandemics in New York, USA.†in Science of The Total Environment, Vol. 728. We agree with the results of their research, but there are things that need to be clarified in relation to the selection of the Spearman-rank correlation as an analytical tool, because the selection of this analysis is without the normality test of the data. Spearman-rank correlation is useful for non-normally distributed continuous data; can be used for ordinal data; and is relatively robust for outliers.

The World Wide Web (www) has become an interactive medium for millions of Internet users across the world, daily visiting occur for various purposes. However, their behavior could be monitored by various service providers or company’s website they visited for several purposes. Thus, we can see that if certain data pre-processing techniques are practiced correctly, results will be of high quality and in turn provide substantial evidence of the user and its web session. This paper provides a way of knowing user behavior on the web. It explains the use of cookies: Cookies allow you to do many things such as log on to Internet Banking, have us 'remember' your log-in preferences, when logging on, a pop-up window appears stating the service is not available and to try later. A misspelled domain name in the address line. Lotteries that charge a fee to collect your winnings, apply for products and services online, and use financial tools like our ‘find and compare’ mortgage calculators., servers, and proxy logs with some scripting to be able not only to get a user’s IP address but also get personal information like age, identity, and any other credential as long as the user puts them down while using the web.

The study examines the extent to which information technology predictor variables; knowledge of information technology, management support for the use of information technology; frequency of use of information technology and access to information technology relates to employees’ productivity in commercial banks. The survey research method was used to select 400 samples from 8 banks using purposive, proportional and random sampling techniques. The study area is Cross River state. Structured questionnaires were used to elicit information from the population under study. The reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach Alpha (ranging from 0.79 and 0.91). Data were analysed using multiple regression at 0.05 confidence level. Result revealed a statistical significant joint influence of all the predictor variables (Knowledge of information technology; Management support for the use of information technology; Frequency of use of information technology and access to information technology on commercial bank employees’ productivity. Based on the findings, the study recommends that Banks employ IT in a manner that meets the desired qualities of flexibility and scalability while exposing employees to regular training to keep abreast of innovations in information technology
