Abstract

Hospitality is a difficult thing to apply to accept and embrace foreigners who are around us after the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why through this article the author aims to describe the challenges and opportunities of Christian hospitality practice in the New Habit Adaptation Era. From the achievement of the objectives of this article, the author uses qualitative methods as an effort to collect existing data. So the purpose of this article results that under any circumstances, one of the policies that must be applied is the Christian faith and the right way of life, such as those based on Christian identity. Although it is now clear that love and friendship for all people especially for people who are different from us is not easy, but Christians have to do it, especially in the face of many problems and difficulties. Therefore, based on the meaning of love, Christians respond and understand the most beautiful form of relevant response to all the challenges and opportunities that sometimes arise, especially in dealing with all people during the pandemic to the new order. Hospitalitas merupakan hal yang sulit untuk kemudian diaplikasikan untuk menerima dan merangkul orang-orang asing yang ada disekitar pasca setelah pendemi covid-19. Itulah sebabnya melalui artikel ini penulis bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan dan peluang dari praktek hospitalitas Kristen di masa Era Adaptasi Kebiasaan Baru. Dari tercapainya tujuan dari artikel ini maka penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif sebagai upaya untuk mengumpulan data-data yang telah ada. Sehingga tujuan dari artiekl ini menghasilkan bahwa dalam keadaan apa pun, salah satu kebijakan yang harus diterapkan adalah iman Kristen dan cara hidup yang benar, seperti keramahan yang berbasis identitas kekristenan. Meskipun sekarang jelas bahwa cinta dan persahabatan untuk semua orang terutama untuk orang yang berbeda dari kita tidak mudah, tetapi orang Kristen harus melakukannya itu, terutama dalam menghadapi banyak masalah dan kesulitan. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan makna cinta kasih, orang Kristen menanggapi dan memahami keramahan sebagai bentuk paling indah dari respons relevan terhadap semua tantangan dan peluang yang kadang-kadang muncul, terutama dalam menyikapi semua orang selama sejak pendemi sampai pada tatanan baru.

Abstract

In suffering God is considered absent in human life. To prove God's presence in suffering, a literary criticism approach will be used to interpret the book of Exodus which shows the nature of God's rescue mission. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach and a post-modern interpretation method with the social and political context of Exodus. When the suffering caused by the pandemic takes away hope for life, then rescue mediators today are used by GOD to bring hope for life and the future. God is present to cooperate with His servants in every age in different ways, but with the same goal, which is to provide salvation to people who are suffering. Dalam penderitaan Tuhan dianggap absen dalam kehidupan manusia. Untuk membuktikan kehadiran Allah dalam penderitaan, akan digunakan pendekatan kritik literaris untuk menafsir kitab Keluaran yang menunjukkan sifat dari misi penyelamatan TUHAN. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode penafsiran paska modern dengan konteks sosial dan politik kitab Keluaran. Ketika penderitaan akibat pandemi menghilangkan harapan akan kehidupan, maka mediator-mediator penyelamatan di zaman sekarang dipakai TUHAN untuk membawa pengharapan akan kehidupan dan masa depan. Allah hadir bekerjasama dengan para hamba-Nya di setiap zaman melalui cara yang berbeda-beda, namun dengan tujuan yang sama, yakni memberi keselamatan kepada umat yang mengalami penderitaan.

Abstract

Believers can never escape from suffering. Even in some passages of the Bible shows that believers are called to suffer for God’s sake. Wrong attitudes shown by believers when facing suffering often appear in the form of dissapointment, therefore it affects their relationships with God and others. This is due to a lack of proper understanding of suffering. This research will answer clearly about the theological understanding of suffering. The author also sees the importance of explaining the characteristics that a believer must possess especially regarding to suffering. These characteristics relate to attitudes, beliefs, and actions. The author also explores the attitude of Jesus Christ as an example in dealing with suffering. The results of this study provide solutions and enlightenment for believers in dealing with suffering. Orang percaya tidak luput dari penderitaan. Bahkan dalam beberapa bagian Alkitab menunjukkan bahwa orang percaya dipanggil untuk menderita karena Tuhan. Sikap-sikap yang salah yang ditunjukkan oleh orang percaya saat menghadapi penderitaan seringkali muncul dalam bentuk kekecewaan, sehingga berpengaruh pada relasi dengan Tuhan dan sesama. Hal ini diakibatkan karena kurangnya pemahaman yang benar akan penderitaan. Penelitian ini  akan menjawab secara jelas mengenai pengertian teologis tentang penderitaan. Penulis juga melihat pentingnya untuk menjelaskan karakteristik yang harus dimiliki oleh orang percaya khususnya berkaitan dengan penderitaan. Karakteristik ini berkaitan dengan sikap, kepercayaan dan tindakan. Penulis pun menggali sikap Yesus Kristus sebagai teladan dalam menghadapi penderitaan. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan solusi serta pencerahan bagi orang percaya dalam menyikapi penderitaan.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children are increasing at this time. Among the violence that occurred were physical, psychological, and sexual violence; sexual violence is in the first position in the sequence. Sexual violence experienced by children greatly affects their behavior, growth and social interactions. Not only that, the violence also has a negative impact on the mental health of children. Therefore, the role of pastoral counseling is very much needed in dealing with victims of child sexual abuse. The purpose of this article is to explain the meaning of violence, the types of sexual abuse, the impact of sexual abuse and the role of pastoral counseling in dealing with victims of child sexual abuse. To achieve that goal, this article uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Based on this method, this study found that the church is the right place to express the love of the Lord Jesus Christ through sincere acceptance and pure motivation for children who are victims of sexual violence. Kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak tergolong meningkat pada masa saat ini. Di antara kekerasan yang terjadi seperti kekerasan fisik, psikis, dan seksual; kekerasan seksual berada pada posisi pertama dalam urutannya. Kekerasan seksual yang dialami oleh anak sangat mempengaruhi perilaku, pertumbuhan dan dalam interaksi sosialnya. Tidak hanya itu, kekerasan tersebut juga memberi dampak buruk terhadap kesehatan mental anak. Oleh sebab itu, peran Pastoral konseling sangat dibutuhkan dalam menangani korban pelecehan seksual pada anak. Tujuan artikel ini adalah menjelaskan arti kekerasan, jenis pelecehan seksual, dampak pelecehan seksual dan peran pastoral konseling dalam mengatasi korban pelecehan seksual pada anak. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Berdasarkan metode tersebut, maka penelitian ini menemukan hasil bahwa gereja adalah wadah yang tepat untuk dapat menyatakan kasih Tuhan Yesus Kristus melalui penerimaan secara tulus dan motivasi yang murni bagi anak yang menjadi korban kekerasan seksual.

Abstract

Kaliban Elementary School students are passive in the learning process, resulting in students becoming bored, failing to focus, and decreasing grades. As a teacher of Christian Religious Education must have a high initiative to attract the attention of students, so that the learning process takes place active students. This research method aims to determine the impact of implementing NHT type cooperative learning strategies on Christian Religious Education. The study used qualitative methods by conducting interviews and observations. The results obtained from this study are: first, the learning outcomes of students who have high abilities are as good as students with medium and low abilities, second, students are more active in collaborating or working well together to find answers, third, students individually responsible as a member of the group, and fourth, increase students' understanding of the material being studied Peserta didik SD Kaliban pasif dalam proses pembelajaran, mengakibatkan peserta didik menjadi bosan, gagal fokus, dan nilai mengalami penurunan. sebagai seorang guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen harus memiliki inisiatif yang tinggi untuk menarik perhatian peserta didik, supaya pada proses pembelajaran berlangsung peserta didik aktif. metode penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak implementasi strategi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT pada Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) hasil belajar peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi sama baiknya dengan siswa memiliki kemampuan sedang dan rendah, (2) peserta didik lebih aktif berkolaborasi atau bekerjasama dengan baik untuk menemukan jawaban, (3) peserta didik bertanggungjawab secara individu sebagai anggota kelompok, dan (4) meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi yang dipelajari.

Abstract

The Great Commission has been considered as one of the most important commands of Jesus Christ by the church. It has been passed down from the disciples to the early church fathers and so on until today. Many followers of Christ have tried to fulfill it to their best effort. However, the interpretation of such command, and therefore its implementations, in different churches throughout history, have not always been the same. Without saying that these approaches are wrong, more often than not, they are quite pragmatic and therefore they tend to become the end rather than the means to usher the ultimate vision of what Jesus’ followers ought to live. Additionally, the crucial role of the Holy Spirit is often downplayed in these missionary efforts. This paper attempts to provide a discussion in relation to the Great Commission from a Pentecostal perspective and to suggest some steps that can be applied in Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI) in its missionary approach as a result of this perspective. GBI was chosen as it is the largest Pentecostal Church in Indonesia.
