Abstract

A Decision Support System is a technology built to assist an organization or institution in making decisions. Mardi Waluya Elementary School is an educational institution in which there is a decision-making process for determining the provision of quarterly bonuses to teachers based on the results of performance assessments. However, in the decision making process several problems were found, namely that it was still carried out conventionally in determining quarterly bonuses, which caused the determination process to not be transparent and accountable. Apart from that, the reporting of the results of recommendations for teachers receiving quarterly bonuses carried out by assessors was not effective in its delivery because it was slow. So school principals need technology in the form of a decision support system, which is transparent, accountable, effective and efficient in providing recommendations for teachers who will receive quarterly bonuses. In this research, a decision support system will be built that applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The AHP method is used to obtain consistent weights, while the MOORA method is used to rank teacher performance assessments, so that determining bonuses in teacher performance assessments can be more effective, efficient and accountable. The implementation of the AHP and MOORA methods in this decision support system is built on a website basis. It is hoped that the results of this research will make it easier for school principals to determine the provision of quarterly bonuses to teachers who have good performance, so that the results of the decision are given to the teachers who are entitled to them.

Abstract

In the era of global competition in the world of higher education, effective and efficient employee selection is the main key to achieving university strategic goals. This research uses the Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) method as a basis for making employee selection decisions at the Admissions and Marketing Bureau at Trilogi University. The AHP method has proven effective in overcoming complexity and subjectivity in the employee selection process by considering various important factors that influence decisions. This research focuses on the implementation of an AHP-based decision support system (DSS) which was developed specifically for employee selection needs in bureaus that play a role in designing and managing student admission strategies and university promotions. Factors considered in calculating AHP include age, work experience, specific work experience in the marketing field, administrative skills, English language skills, and attitude when conducting interviews. This system provides a holistic view in candidate assessment by prioritizing these factors according to the weight given by decision makers. The results of this research are recommendations in a ranking system for the best candidates to become employees at Trilogy University. Employees accepted in this selection process are A2 and A1 based on the University's needs. This research combines best practices in human resource management with a technology-based approach to produce innovative solutions in employee selection decision making.

Abstract

Poverty is one of the problems faced by all countries, especially developing countries such as Indonesia. To find out the extent of poverty in Kemang Bejalu Village, research must be carried out to determine the poverty rate in Kemang Bejalu Village using the Naive Bayes method. The Naive Bayes method is used to classify data and calculate the probability of poverty based on certain factors. This study aims to determine whether the accuracy of the results of the Naive Bayes method can be used in predicting poverty rates. So this confusion matrix calculation obtained an accuracy of 86% of 258 with data for 3 variables, while in testing new test data obtained an accuracy of 90% using the same variables (namely dependents, employment and income). Based on 2022 population data where the poor family is 33% while the well-off family is 67% which is used to produce a poverty rate of 76% of well-off families and 24% of poor families using a test size of 0.4. the prediction process for poverty in Kemang Bejalu village using the Naive Bayes method. So that it can be used by the Kemang Bejalu village government to make a decision.

Abstract

Indo Global Mandiri University has accepted Smart Indonesia Card students since 2020. Financing for Smart Indonesia Card students is obtained from government subsidies on the condition that students are required to complete lectures for less than or equal to four years and maintain academic achievement with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00. As in the Informatics Engineering study program, 31 prospective Smart Indonesia Card recipient students must be selected first to fill the available quota. Students who have passed the selection will be ranked to determine the number of prospective students who are entitled to receive assistance carried out by the university's Cooperation Bureau. The purpose of the research is to do programming that can predict the number of students receiving this assistance using the Decision Tree algorithm. Decision Tree (C4.5 version) is one of the classification methods that uses a tree structure representation where each node represents an attribute, the branch represents the value of the attribute, and the leaf represents the class. The attributes used are skill program, average score, KK status, income, and aid card. Based on calculations carried out using the decision tree method, the value of the percentage of accuracy is quite good with a value of 73% for predicting prospective KIP recipient students at Indo Global Mandiri University Palembang, while the performance of the classification model still has a fairly low performance with a precision value of 40%, a recall value of 56% and an F1-score value of 47%.

Abstract

SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi is a senior high school that uses the website as an information media, but there are still problems on the website, including when opening the website portal it is suspended, then there is no information about us in the sectioninformation about history, vision and mission, and there is also no information about holidays and semester exams. from these problems, a study was conducted to determine the relationship or correlation of each variable or all variables using the webqual 4.0 method with a total sample of 304 respondents and data processing using IBM Statistics SPSS software. The results of the study show that the quality of use has a significant effect on user satisfaction compared to the quality of interaction and the quality of information. it is suggested to the management of the SMA Negeri 2 Kota Jambi website to improve the quality of information by including information about history, vision and mission, information about holidays and semester exams and the website must be improved by providing an uptime serverand always respond to complaints or questions submitted by students through discussion forums.

Abstract

Editornews.id is one of the online news sites in Jambi City, which has several problems that are often felt by users, such as excessive advertising, news that is not timely and there is no column for direct interaction on the website. From these problems, researchers are interested in researching the Editornews.id website. To analyze website quality and the influence of each variable on user satisfaction. This study uses the WebQual 4.0 method to know website quality, website performance, and user expectations using Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction Quality, and User Satisfaction variables with a sample size of 230 respondents. Data analysis is processed with SPSS software. The results based on the results of the analysis show that the Usability variable (X1) affects User Satisfaction, the Information Quality variable (X2) has no effect on User Satisfaction, the Service Interaction Service variable (X3) affects User Satisfaction and the Usability variable (X1), Information Quality (X2), Service Interaction Quality (X3) together affect User Satisfaction. So Editornews.id must improve the reputation and appearance of the website and improve the information delivery system on the website.

Abstract

Tuition fee payments still often experience problems such as data collection and payment information processes which are done manually, conventionally, and not yet computerized, where recording reports still use ledgers, making work neglected and spending a lot of time and energy for the finance department in searching for student data and archiving it, currently There is a need for innovative use of technology in the world of education to assist financial administration in schools so that data collection and payment information processes run effectively and efficiently. This design aims to assist the finance department in recording tuition payments and as a means of informing parents/guardians about payments. The research method used is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method and the programming language used is PHP, and Mysql as a web design medium and combines layout with programming languages. This application helps the finance department in recording tuition payments and summarizing data every month. Testing is carried out by testing the function of the code that is created and is functional by testing links, and existing menu buttons and ensuring that all parts have been tested. The development stage includes the needs analysis stage, design stage, implementation stage, and testing stage. The system designed by the tuition fee administration information website provides good results because the system runs as expected and can present student payment transaction data reports such as data management, announcement data, payment history data, payment transaction data, transaction report data, note printing data, and organize data. According to the white box test on administration, the SPP payment transaction report is effective and efficient because the test results prove that no errors were found

Abstract

The majority of parents take into account their child's educational standing to some extent. The school's status, number of schools, number of teachers, number of students, and number of classrooms are crucial considerations for parents when selecting a school. The problem is that data regarding the classification of elementary schools in the city of Pangkalpinang is not yet available so that parents and related agencies do not yet know the status & classification of schools in their area. The utilisation of machine learning has been possible for analysing data from Pangkalpinang City School, owing to the advancements in data science technology. This study generates a categorization of school data using clusters of school status. The research used an unsupervised machine learning (ML) model called K-means clustering for classification purposes. The dataset containing 14 sub-district records in Pangkalpinang, utilised for the k-means clustering technique, was acquired from the official website of the Ministry of Education and Culture (https://dapo.kemdikbud.go.id/). The authenticity of the data was verified by the Pangkalpinang City Education and Culture Office. This research use data modelling to establish school standards and utilises an algorithm to assess the precision of school categorization according to its parameters. According to the cumulative Sillhoette scores obtained from the school status, Cluster 1 for 21.43% of the total, Cluster 2  for 28.25%, Cluster for 14.28%, Cluster 4 for 21.42%, and Cluster 5 for 14.29%. The cluster with the lowest attribute values, specifically cluster 2, exhibits the highest number of clusters as shown from the cumulative plot findings. The Pangkalpinang City Government can determine and categorise elementary-level schools by aggregating the number of resulting clusters, as the entity responsible for education and potential pupils. This encompasses measures such as expanding the number of primary schools in areas facing a scarcity of such institutions, augmenting the teaching workforce in schools that necessitate additional educators, accommodating more students in schools that have a need for smaller student-to-teacher ratios in specific regions, and enhancing classroom infrastructure in schools lacking adequate space for in-person instruction.

Abstract

This research was carried out to identify and ensure that existing system procedures in Cimanggis District function properly using the Cobit 5 framework in auditing the e-payment application information system. Based on an audit of the e-payment application information system collected using a quantitative capability analysis method, after a thorough evaluation of the e-payment application, from the questionnaire data it can be concluded that the domain with the highest score, namely the DSS01 Manage Operations domain, has a total maturity index value of 7 .89 maturity level value 1.58 percentage value 158% with Fully Achieved achievement value and GAP value (0.42), DSS02 Manage Service Request and Incidents, got a total maturity index value of 7.87, got a maturity level value of 1.12 percentage value of 112%, with a Fully Achieved achievement value and GAP value (0.88), DSS03 Manage Problems, got a total manturity index value of 7.22, got a maturity level value of 1.44, a percentage value of 144%, with a Fully Achieved achievement value and the GAP value (0.56), with a level 2 target, namely Repeatable but Intuitive, it must be corrected in the domain and sub-domain used, and if there are problems, they must be repaired immediately.

Abstract

The role of rice in Indonesia is as the main food ingredient that is irreplaceable because Indonesians make rice their staple food. Many people in Indonesia work as farmers and NTB province is one of the provinces where most people work as farmers. Rice planted by the community is not free from disease because disease can attack from anywhere. Diseases that attack rice plants often make farmers confused about how to handle them, especially for farmers who have minimal knowledge about diseases that can attack rice and their solutions. Due to the lack of time and knowledge, when rice fields are affected by disease, many people will discuss with experts. However, due to the lack of time, people are reluctant to go all the way to find experts. Therefore, an expert system was created that is used to detect symptoms and types of diseases that attack rice plants that can be used anywhere and anytime because this expert system is web-based. Based on expert system research on 30 farmers who use the certainty factor method as a basis for calculation can produce similarity of answers with experts by 96%.
