<![CDATA[Acts of terrorism are often associated with Islam; even though Islam itself teaches its adherents as a religion of sowing love for the whole world. But in reality, the terrorists justify their actions by reason of jihad or holy war. This can lead to negative perceptions among people of other religions towards Islam, so that it can interfere with inter-religious harmony. This study aims to determine whether there is a negative perception among Christians towards Islam regarding acts of terrorism and what factors influence it. This explanatory research uses a cross-sectional approach. In collecting data, researchers used a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Stepwise multiple linear regression test. From the research that has been done, the results show that even though there are acts of terrorism, the majority of Christians still have a positive perspective on Islam. Negative perceptions of Christians regarding terrorism are influenced by negative attitudes from external parties towards Islam and a lack of knowledge about Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Believers as servants of God have a responsibility to properly instill the teachings of Scripture as a filter of the teachings that develop around them. Being a true and exemplary servant of Christ is the advocate of every believer. The ability to carry out the responsibilities of God's servants became a necessity for Christian teachers. This study aims to examine the implementation of the responsibility of Christian teachers as ministers of God based on 1 Timothy 4:1-16. The research was conducted quantitatively using explanatory-affirmative analysis on Christian teachers in Tangerang. The results showed: 1. The degree of implementation of responsibility in the moderate category, 2. The most dominant dimension in the implementation of responsibility is to be exemplary, 3. The length of the teacher's teaching period affects the level of implementation of responsibilities. From the results of this study, Christian teachers in Tangerang need to improve the implementation of the responsibility of God's servants and develop quality so that they can be exemplary and increase activities that develop teaching skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescence is a period of searching for identity in a life process. Not a few teenagers who do exploratory actions in this phase. These actions can affect changes physically, psychologically and psychosocially. Not infrequently the actions taken or obtained by a teenager lead the teenager to psychiatric and mental disorders such as depression. It is known that no less than one third of teenagers in Indonesia are teenagers with depressive disorders. In such conditions, parents as the first environment of a teenager have an important role to improve the mental health and psyche of a teenager. This study aims to look at the role of parents as a supporting system in dealing with depressed adolescents. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. The data used is secondary data obtained by observing the literature. The results showed that (1) depression is a psychiatric disorder that is prone to occur in adolescents. Depression is also related to the lifestyle of adolescents, age, gender, socio-economic conditions, and the existence of acts of bullying that have been received by these adolescents; (2) depression can affect the psychological and social well-being of a teenager. Therefore, parents must have an understanding of the indications and causes of depression so that parents are able to take appropriate action and can become a support system for a teenager who is experiencing depression; (3) high support from parents can provide a greater opportunity for adolescents to get out of depression.]]>

<![CDATA[The main focus of the discussion to be examined in this article is how the level of decency or reasonableness that Christians should do, when they express themselves in Tik Tok. This topic needs to be discussed, considering that the Tik Tok application is one of the social media that is favored by Indonesian people from various groups and religions. In working on this paper, the researcher uses a literature study and phenomenological approach to answer the research questions to be discussed. As for the question, what are the advantages and disadvantages of this media? What is the concrete form of self-expression that users do in Tik Tok? And what is the perspective of Christian ethics in Tik Tok? The result obtained is that the Tik Tok social media makes it easier for all content actors to go viral, both positive and negative, because the Tik Tok For You Page algorithm gives everyone equal opportunities. The dominant forms of self-expression in Tik Tok by users are dancing, dancing and lip syncing. As a result, elements of eroticism, sensuality by showing body curves and mocking are often carried out. The principle of Christian ethics strictly prohibits Christians from displaying a bad lifestyle, let alone being impolite. Because Christians are labeled as the epistle of Christ to be able to be an example in words and deeds as the light of the world.]]>

<![CDATA[The phenomenon of the COVID-19 pandemic which has an impact on social change in society is increasingly being felt by all groups in various aspects of life. During the new normal period, people are required to continue to implement physical distancing to suppress the spread of COVID-19. This social impact provides space for every community, especially counselors, to continue to think creatively and innovatively in utilizing digital in this modern civilization, for the sake of continuity of pastoral counseling services which creates a tendency for an open society paradigm, namely there are no barriers that prevent counselors and clients from mutually interact. This research aims to design and design as much as possible a facebook fanpage-based pastoral counseling media to be utilized for the continuity of counseling in the present. The research method used is narrative qualitative with the following steps: describing the basic concepts of online pastoral counseling, introducing the stages of creating a Facebook fanpage, and providing an overview of how to design Christian-based content for the benefit of counselors and counselees. The result of this research is to produce a pastoral counseling media product based on Facebook fanpage which can be used for the online pastoral counseling process by working on the features in it.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by various legal cases (criminal or civil) involving Christians or clergy as individuals, as well as churches or Christian foundations as a Christian institution which chooses litigation as the settlement process. Even though the legal approach is guaranteed by the constitution, the emergence of legal cases that were prosecuted by Christians has become public consumption, causing problems with the effectiveness of the marturia of God's church. Meanwhile, in the light of the Bible, litigation is not the only solution to dispute resolution. Alternative efforts that are based on Christian values should be put forward as a preventive as well as a solution to the presence of problems among Christians. Therefore, this research was conducted to find alternative approaches to legal proceedings when a dispute occurs between Christians based on 1 Corinthians 6:1-11. The study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a literature review approach to related issues, as well as the application of the principles of exegesis and hermeneutics in exploring the selected texts. The discussion presents findings that non-litigation steps can be put forward when disputes occur with a certain intensity through normative-ecclesiological, mediative and restorative approaches where dispute resolution among Christians should prioritize Bible values for the glory of Christ as the head of the church.]]>

<![CDATA[The manifestation of the gift of the Holy Spirit in the early church demonstrates the capacity of supernatural power and work in the midst of the community of believers. However, according to time, especially in the development of technology, science and social media in the church, the tendency of today's ministry is more about the number of congregations, physical and financial development. The Church tends to weaken in the development of the gift of the Holy Spirit to the laity especially in generation Z. The Church has not only lost momentum in reaching out and making disciples, but has also stagnated in developing the capacity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the sucked Generation Z. The purpose of the study was to explain the strategies used in the development of the gift of the Holy Spirit to generation Z in the local church in the digital age. If the church does not have a clear strategy for developing the gift of the Holy Spirit to them, it will lose the spirit of evangelism, the manifestation of God's power and spiritual maturity amid disruptive technology. Research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The construction of research in establishing mechanisms for the development of this gift relates to [1] The emphasis of teaching to Gen Z is widely underestimated. [2] Mechanisms for developing their leadership gifts from the beginning, [3] Methods relating to the provision of space and responsibility, and [4] Patterns of worship and service in the balanced use of technology.]]>

<![CDATA[Pastoral care is urgently needed, especially for someone with a chronic illness. Through this pastoral care, people with chronic illnesses will be prepared to face death, both physically and spiritually. But more importantly than that, pastoral care to people with chronic illnesses will provide assurance that salvation from Jesus will be given to sufferers if they are willing to confess their sins and repent. Through a qualitative-descriptive method to obtain factual data conceptually, this study found that pastoral care to people who are experiencing chronic pain must be carried out by inviting sufferers to first confess all the sins they have committed as a result of their inability to love themselves. After that they must enter into repentance, so that they may obtain perfect salvation in Jesus. Thus they will return holy and ready to face chronic illness, even death.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui makna dalam teks Yoel 2:18-27 terhadap kehidupan bangsa Israel selama masa pasca-pembuangan yang nantinya akan di implikasikan terhadap kehidupan masa kini. Teks ini memuat sukacita dan harapan untuk umat Israel yang sedang mengalami kemalangan sebagai hasil dari komitmen yang menjalani tatanan hidup yang baru. Ibadah yang benar adalah hidup yang benar. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk menginterpretasikan teks adalah hermenutik Historis-Apokaliptik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pesan Tuhan dalam pemberitaan Yoel menggambarkan Allah yang peduli akan keberlangsungan kehidupan ciptaan-Nya, Allah mendengar ratapan dan perubahan pola hidup bangsa Israel sehingga memulihkan keadaan bangsa tersebut dengan damai sejahtera. Hal ini pun berimplikasi terhadap ajakan berdamai manusia dengan ekosistem dimana ini merupakan dasar pemulihan kehidupan alam menjadi lebih baik. Umat Tuhan harus hidup dalam tatanan perjanjian baru dengan Allah melalui kepedulian terhadap tanggung jawab untuk lingkungan hidup, dimana harus melestarikan dan menjaga alam sekitar. Umat yang taat dan setia akan menikmati kedamaian, baik di masa sekarang maupun di masa yang akan datang.]]>

<![CDATA[The global economic crisis has created a gap between the rich and the poor (socio-economic gap). The decline in the spirituality of religious people is proven by their reluctance to give alms and their neglect of the importance of the essence of alms. In fact, the practice of giving alms is a pragmatic act to realize the law of love for others that has been taught in Christianity. To address this social and spiritual issue, Joseph Harrod offers a new understanding of almsgiving. This article aims to tackle the problem of reluctance to give alms using Joseph Harrod's contextual theological perspective, namely the discipline of giving alms proactively, as a solution in responding to the socio-economic disparities experienced by society, especially within the Church. This study uses qualitative methods through text analysis and data collection through literature studies. The results of the study found that the concept of the discipline of proactive giving can bridge the socio-economic gap and renew the spiritual life of Christians.]]>
