Abstract

Pembangunan Pertanian menjadi hal yang mutlak untuk dilakukan dewasa ini, salah satu alasan yang mendasar adalah harus ada upaya untuk mengatasi krisis pangan global yang akan terjadi di abad 21 ini, selain alasan tersebut diatas, alasan lain yang tidak terbantahkan juga adalah bahwa pertanian masih menjadi tumpuan umat manusia dalam menyerap tenaga kerja dan menjadi sumber pendapatan masyarakat dan juga yang akan menunjang daya beli bagi produk di sektor lain.

Abstract

This study titled nitrogen supply on growth, yield, total sugar content of cabbage flowers (Brassica oleraeea sp.) and residual mineral Nitrogen in the soil. This research is done in the village os Sumber Jeruk Kalisat, Jember district from 2 April 2008 - 30 June 2008, where the altitude is 200 m above sea level. Cabbage flowers is used by white snow variety 50 (age harvest the day after harvest 50). The design is used by Randomized Block Design (RBD) 6 treatment supply Nitrogen (N) with 4 replications. Nitrogen supply supply treatment are N1 (100 kg N/ Ha), N2 (150 Ha), N3 (200 kg/ H), N4 (250 kg/ Ha), N5 (300 kg N/Ha), N6 (350 kg N/Ha).Parameters of study include : Plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), leaf number, leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), leaf area (cm), weight of fresh flowers and stover (g), dry weight of flowers and stover (g), flower diameter (cm), total sugar content of interest and available soil N residues after harvest. These result indicate Nitrogen supply of vegetative growth was not significantly different, except for plant height at harvest (the day after harvest 45) and the weight of stover. The highest result achieved by treatment of N supply of 200 kg/ Ha N rate and stover weight to 45.12 tons / Ha. Supply nitrogen to the total sugar content were not significantly different. Nitrogen supply to the different residual N in the soil is very real.

Abstract

Conflict of interest faced by the Goverment with regard to agricultural land confersion is quite dilemmatic. On one side, the regional government has to accelerate economic growth through industry, service and property sector development. On the other side, attention must be given to protect the existence and sustainability of agricultural sector. If such dilemmatic condition is not immediately overcome by developing land policy, it is impossible for agricultural system to survive, as has been indicated by land conversion data in the last three decades. There has been no technology or institutional breakthrough that is able to compensale for agricultural production decrease due to the lost of agricultural lands, especially irrigated fields. Considering such problems, the government has stipulated some provisions in its policy to restrict and or to prevent conversin of fertile lands to non-agricultural uses, one of which is land policy using land allocation arrangements.

Abstract

Jember is the only area that has a research center of coffee and cocoa, therefore coffee products in Jember regency have the opportunity to develop. Coffee-producing area in Jember regency is also quite a lot, so that the coffee in Jember is fairly easy to dotain. Based on the data from the Department of Plantation East Java, Jember is known as the second largest people’s Robusta coffee cultivation after the regency of Malang in East Java. The marketing of Robusta coffee in Jember is confined to the area of ​​production only, though most production is marketed outside the region but in fact it is not maximized. This study aims at determining: (1) Prospect of Robusta coffee in Jember regency, (2) The Robusta coffee marketing strategy in Jember. This study uses primary data. The location of this research is determined intentionally (Purposive Method). The sampling method used in this study is Area Sampling or sample area. The sample measure’s are used Slovin’s formulation and then the samples are choiced by simple random sampling. The analysis tools used are the SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) and the descriptive methods.

Abstract

Albumin merupakan protein terbanyak dalam plasma darah mencapai kadar 60%, dan bermanfaat untuk membantu jaringan sel baru. Dalam ilmu kedokteran, albumin ini digunakan untuk mempercepat pemulihan jaringan sel tubuh yang terbelah/rusak. Albumin juga berperan mengikat obat-obatan serta logam berat yang tidak mudah larut dalam darah. Kadar albumin di darah manusia direkomendasikan normal oleh paramedis bila kandungannya antara 3,5-5,5 g/dl. Kadar albumin di bawah normal sering terjadi pada anak yang mengalami gizi buruk, ibu hamil dan manula. Kadar albumin yang berasal dari ikan gabus dan kerang kece berdasarkan uji laboratorium kandungannya tinggi. Produk albumin siap saji yang diproses tanpa pemanasan atau melalui bioproses mengandung kadar albumin jauh lebih tinggi dari produk lainnya. Bagi sebagian orang dimana ikan gabus tak masuk hitungan lauk favorit, namun ditangan paramedic dan ahli gizi ternyata memiliki kadar albumin tinggi. Ikan yang kurang disukai karena baunya amis, bila diolah menjadi suplemen makanan dan minuman kesehatan berfungsi menjaga metabolism tubuh, menaikkan kadar albumin dan mempercepat pemulihan kesehatan
