Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and to analyze the influence of interest rate toward the Return on Asset Bank that list on BEI period 2014-2016. This research was a quantitative descriptive, the data was analyzed by using time series and it used multiple linear Regression. The result obtained the equation Y = -0,114 + 0,609X1 + 0,967X2, it showed a directional correlation between inflation and interest rate toward ROA. Coefficient of determination showed the inflation and the interest rate have contribution toward ROA was 13,6%. The result of t-test also showed that, the inflation and interest rate variables have no significant influence toward ROA. Whereas, F test showed the inflation and interest rate have significant influence toward ROA

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out whether the use of picture series technique can improve students writing skill of recount text or not. The subject of this research was 31 students of class VIII SMPN 3 Baubau. This was a classroom action research involving four steps in each cycles, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments of this research were test, observation, questionnaires and documentations. The data analysis was presented in the table and chart of progressive analysis, and also in descriptive explanation. The result of quantitative analysis showed that using of picture series can improve students writing skill of the eight grade student of SMP Negeri 3 Baubau. It can be seen from the result of the students’ writing tests and the student‘s involvement which increased continuously during the application of the techniques. The mean score of students was 70.22 before techniques applied as the indications that this score categorized into a insufficient level. After having treatment in the first cycles, the student‘s mean sco improved to 75.15 which categorized into a sufficient level. In the second cycles, the student‘s mean score54 which improved was categorized good to level.79. This improvement was supported by qualitative data.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemistry with discovery methods through laboratory activities on the concept of colloidal systems. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 2 Baubau from September to October 2018. The method used in this study was classroom action research with a sample of 33 students who were taught with the discovery method through laboratory activities. Classroom Action Research conducted consists of two research cycles with stages in each cycle including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaires, learning achievement tests, and the results of teacher and student interviews. The results of this study indicate that it has reached the criteria that have become the indicator of success as indicated by increasing the category of aspects of active student participation in learning in each cycle. Likewise with the test of learning outcomes an increase in the average value in the first cycle of 68.09 increased to 74.81 and there are no more students who scored less than 60.00. Similarly, the results of student interviews that respond positively to the learning process using discovery methods through laboratory activities. From these results, it can be concluded that learning by using discovery method learning through laboratory activities can improve student chemistry learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out students’ learning activeness and students’ learning motivation through the application of project based learning model at students of SMKN 2 Baubau. This was a classroom action research conducting at class X1 building technique SMKN 2 Baubau in school year 2018/2019. This research was conducting on 2 cycles. The data of this research was collected from observation and questionnaire. After the data were collected, then they were analyzed by using a quantitative descriptive analysis. The result showed that, the application of Project based learning model can increase students’ learning activeness, and students learning motivation at class X1 building technique department at SMKN 2 Baubau.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah motivasi belajar dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling dengan melaksanakan dua siklus. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu 10 siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Batauga yang terdiri atas 8 siswa bermotivasi belajar rendah dan 2 siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar tinggi, agar terjadi dinamika kelompok. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, angket motivasi belajar dan observasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa sebelum memperoleh perlakuan berupa bimbingan kelompok, sebesar 44,4% kategori rendah. Setelah diberi layanan bimbingan kelompok pada sikus I, motivasi belajar siswa meningkat menjadi kategori sedang sebesar 65%. Sedangkan pada siklus II motivasi belajar siswa terus meningkat menjadi kategori tinggi dengan perolehan sebesar 74%. Hal ini menunjukkan layanan bimbingan kelompok dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Batauga. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebelum diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 44,4% kategori rendah. Setelah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siklus I motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 65% kategori sedang dan pada siklus II motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 74%. Sehingga terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar yang signifikan setelah diadakan layanan bimbingan kelompok.
