Jurnal Tektan merupakan salah satu jurnal di Politeknik Negeri Lampung yang  menampung hasil penelitian berupa artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan Ilmu Keteknikan Pertanian, Mekanisasi Pertanian, Teknik Kimia, Teknik Sumberdaya Lahan dan Lingkungan,dimana artikel tersebut belum pernah dipublikasikan. Jurnal TekTan di terbitkan oleh Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Polinela Unit 3x dalam setahun. Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Pertanian Ini diterbitkan oleh Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Polinela Sebagai Wadah Bagi Dosen, Mahasiswa dan PLP untuk mempublikasikan karya penulisannya. Jurnal ini sempat mengalami Jeda Pengaktifan Selama 3 tahun mulai terbitan 2016 sampai Agustus 2019, hal ini disebabkan karena kekosongan tim pengelola Jurnal. Kemudian dengan manajemen pengelolaan yang baru maka diterbitkan kembali untuk volume 11 No. 3 pada tanggal 16 Desember 2019

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to identify and evaluate the erosion in the catchment area of Way Rarem Dam, by predicting the magnitude of erosion using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The outcome of this activity is the maps of erosion potential Catchment Area of Way Rarem Dam , which can be used as a guide in planning further handling. The field survey was conducted to cross check the locations suspected of having land use changes quickly in order to update data that already exist in accordance with current conditions. Calculation of the amount of erosion prediction using USLE equation is A = R x K x LS x CP. Based on the results obtained map making extensive catchment (Catchment Area) Reservoir Way Rarem namely 32864.8 ha (328.648 km ), which consistsof a class of very severe erosion very weight level covering 104.461 km2 (31.78%), weight level measuring 89.998 km 2 ( 27.38%), middle level mesuring 38.856 km (11.82%), light level measuring 92.262 km2 (28.07%), and very light level measuring 3,071 km (0.95%). The average rate of erosion in the catchment reservoirs Way Rarem which amounted to 238.33 tons/ha/year, which is classified in class IV of erosion levels or weight category.Keywords: erosion hazard level, catchment area

Abstract

The fish will quickly be damaged when the post-harvest handling is not done the right way. One of the pickling process is inexpensive and commonly performed by drying. One dried fish that is often consumed by people is anchovy. The manufacturing process anchovy done traditionally by means of direct drying in the sun on a patch of para-para. The drying process is often hampered by the way the weather factor, making it less efficient because it takes a long time, require a comprehensive and drying results prone to contamination dirt and other contamination. Utilization of solar energy that is abundant in Indonesia can be used as a dryer to reduce the use of fossil-based energy. This research aims to create and test performance anchovy dryer design and build solar energy. The working principle of the dryer is made of heat radiation collected by the solar flat plate collectors are arranged such that it can be used to heat the air flowing in the hallway under the flat plate collectors with dimensions of 4 m width, length and height of 7.5 m 0.5 m. In order for heating the air inside the hall optimum, then the inhibition of air flow by installing a bulkhead inside the hall are arranged in winding. The resulting hot air is used to dry the product that is placed in the drying chamber. The airflow from the inlet to the outlet in the system is due to the movement of the turbine ventilator by the flow of air / wind around the dryer. Performance test results anchovy solar dryer is 50-60OC drying air temperature, RH 12-40% in the drying chamber, the drying capacity of 12.5 kg/hour. Keywords: solar dryers, flat plate collectors, anchovy, turbine ventilator

Abstract

The research was conducted at the PT. Momenta Agrikultura Lembang West Bandung on February to April 2015. The objectives of the research were to determine amount of water used, production, and water productivity on several varieties of salad (Lactuca sativa L.) with irrigation system nutrient film technique (NFT).  The result of the research showed that the variety of salad affected amount of water used, production and water productivity of salad with irrigation system nutrient film technique (NFT).  The amount of water used of several salad  varieties were 23.52 l/plant of cyurly salad, 25.02 l/plant of red salad, 12.71 l/plant of romain salad, and 15.09 l/plant of batavia salad for one circle of  planting 45 days.  Production of batavia salad were 170.2 g/plant not significantly different compared to romain salad of 166.0 g/plant but higher compared to curly salad of 142.6 g/plant and red salad of 94.2 g/plant. Water productivity of romain salad were 13.60 kg/m3 not significantly different compared to batavia salad of  11.91  kg/m3 but higher compared to curly salad of 6.18 kg/m3 and red salad of 3.77 kg/m3.   Keywords: salad varieties (curly salad, red salad, romain salad, and batavia salad), irrigation system nutrient film technique (NFT), water used,  production, and  water productivity

Abstract

Mushrooms are plants that have a nucleus, spores, no chlorophyll and are heterotrophic. Mushrooms can not produce their own food, they get nutrition by way of absorption. Nutrients are absorbed from the mushrooms existing in the organic material in which they live (Alexopoulos and Mims, 1996). Baglog is a media into the growth of mushrooms which comprises a mixture of basic materials such as wood sawdust, rice bran, limestone and so on. The mixture will be allowed to stand for 2-3 days so that all the materials decompose properly. All the material that has decomposed properly inserted into the plastic which will then be compacted. This media must be completely solid to support the growth of mushrooms. Abstract

Radiant energy from the sun is one of the alternative energy sources to replace the role of oil as a primary energy source. Alternative forms of energy that can be used is to dry the material/material. One form of utilization of solar radiation energy is raising the air temperature. Solar collector is one example of the utilization of solar energy. Moving the hot air from the collector to the drying chamber is accelerated by a ventilator installed above ruangpengering. Dryer tool consists of two parts, solar collector and drying chamber that can directly receive the energy from the sun. Measurements were performed in this study is the temperature (T), humidity (Rh) and air velocity (v) who are outside and inside the drying chamber. Measurements were taken during the 5 days of observation starts at 11:00 until 15:00. an interval of one hour of measurement. The drying chamber reaches the maximum temperature at 11:00 until 13:00 with a temperature of 40.6⁰C while outside the drying chamber (conventional) only 39.8⁰C occurred at 12:00 hours until 13:00. kelemban (Rh) diruang dryers lower than outside the room pengring an average of 47.44% and 57.24% outside the drying chamber, the air flow in the drying chamber of 0.695 m/sec is still higher when compared with data obtained on the appliance dryer without a ventilator that is 0.195 m/sec. obtained water content (KA) end at 18.67% drying within 5 days, whereas for conventional drying KA obtained by 27.11%. Keywords: collector, ventilator, drying

Abstract

Electrical security system is the human effort to maintain security and comfort in their environment in which he works. Not least in the laboratory instrumentation and electrical Agricultural Mechanization Polytechnic State of Lampung. As anticipate things that are not desirable in respect of negligence that often occur in the laboratory such as; AC (Air Conditioning), solder, lights and other equipment that is still alive when it is not used anymore, then used as a reference for making an electrical security system as anticipation  Health, Safety, Work in the laboratory. The purpose of this tool is to make the security system of electricity in the laboratory of agricultural mechanization and the anticipation of Health, Safety, Work and to minimize damage to equipment as well as conserve electrical power used in addition to the manufacture of the tool also has a specific purpose; - By creating this system also can be used as a modeling tool or practicum for students primarily in Agricultural Engineering study program. - In order for students able to apply to the world of work, and apply to the community - Conducting development tools, according to the results of analysis of technical specifications as a means of research and community service for lecturers and laboratory assistant (PLP) Thus negligence or omission that could cause a short circuit in the electrical network, equipment breakdowns that led to a fire in a laboratory can be reduced or minimized, and it can save power consumption when the excessive electrical equipment is not used. Keywords: electrical security system, electrical power
