Abstract

The objective of this research is to identify the mistakes made by students in solving final exam problems of 2017/2018 in odd semester so that similar errors can be minimized for later learning achievement of mathematics can be improved. This is qualitative research. Data collection techniques in this study are interviews and documentation. The results of the study were: (1) malpractice procedure 16%, including low error rate, (2) response level conflict level of 28%, including medium error rate, and (3) hierarchical problem skills (skills hierarchy problem) of 5.56% then including the error rate is very low.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to increase the activeness and students learning achievement through the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model with Discovery Learning. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 4 stages with 3 cycles. The subjects are 29 students of class VII B SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta for academic year 2019/2020.  The data collection techniques in this study are test, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique is carried out by analyzing the observation sheet and the analysis of the success of the action. Based on the research, the percentage of pre-cycle activeness data is 33.38%, the first cycle is 42.90%, the second cycle is 52.40% and the third cycle is 71.50%, while for classical completeness pre-cycle learning achievement is obtained 20.69% , cycle I 27.58%, in cycle II it increased to 44.83% and cycle III increased to 75.86%. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model with Discovery Learning can increase the activeness and students learning achievement of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 16 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to improve mathematics learning achievement through Cooperative Learning Type Think Pair Share in Linear Program. The subject is student of class XI IIS1 of SMA Negeri 1 Magetan in the academic year 2019/2020. This research action is carried out in two cycles. The results of the pre-cycle research is obtained data on students who completed learning as many as 18 students with a percentage of 60% with a class average of 72.5. In the first cycle, the data is obtained from students who completed learning 20 students with a percentage of 65% with a class average of 76.25 in the second cycle 26 students have completed learning with a percentage of 85% with the class average 82. This result  indicates an increase in each cycle, so it can be concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share method can improve student learning achievement in class XI IIS1 SMA Negeri 1 Magetan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine students' responses to learning in the network (online) in mathematics. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection technique is questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of positive and negative statements totaling 20 statements. The questionnaire is distributed via Googleform. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The subjects are 29 students of Class XI MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 1 Weru in the academic year 2019/2020. The result shows that the average percentage of student responses in mathematics received positive criteria. With the average percentage of students' responses to the first indicator, namely interest of 83.62% so it is included in the positive criteria. In the second indicator, motivation is 74.14% so it is included in the positive criteria. The third indicator is satisfaction at 80.17% so it is included in the positive criteria. In the fourth indicator, interest is 73.49% so it is included in the positive criteria. And the fifth indicator is the response of 75.43% so it is included in the positive criteria.

Abstract

In learning probability theory, if a series of statistical experiments is carried out several times, identifying the possible samples produced is not an easy thing. If this happens, then a significant probability problem will arise. The objective of this study is how to learn probability theory using R software. Based on the simulation results it can be concluded that by combining the syntax in R can be used to solve probability problems such as identifying sample points from experiments, events, event operations, probabilities and conditional probabilities. This will help students learning in understanding of the probability theory material. The use of R will be very pronounced for experiments with a large enough scale that results in a large sample probability.
