Abstract

The car spare parts rack is one of the products ordered from PT. Y which is produced by PT. TH. Apart from that, PT. TH also accepts the shelf repair process if there is damage due to use. This research was conducted to find out the process of repairing car spare parts racks specifically for crash pad main assembly. The research method uses literature study and observation. Observations were carried out at PT. TH as the company in charge of repairing all rack spare parts from PT. Y. The shelf repair process generally includes steps to repair or restore the condition of damaged shelves, the process includes checking damage, measuring and cutting hollow steel for the shelf frame, welding process, cleaning welding marks, replacing shelf wheels, painting, installing parts. , installation of bases and roof racks, installation of rack covering mica, naming of racks and quality control process. Machines and equipment used in the shelf repair process include welding machines, grinders, hand drills, cutting wheels, compressors and anglers. This shelf repair procedure is in accordance with the SOP from PT. Y so that it can produce product improvements whose quality is guaranteed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur Quality Control pada line quality control dan finishing pada workshop Patec Presisi Enginering di PT. T Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, yaitu mengamati langsung objek yang diteliti. Beberapa tahapan quality control yaitu tahapan uji visual, uji ukuran,dan penerapan pada jig hingga perbaikan produk yang memungkinkan untuk di perbaiki hingga produk memenuhi standar yang di tetapkan di workshop Patec Presisi Enginering. Hal yang harus diperhatikan sebelum dilakukan proses Quality Control yaitu menyiapkan alat ukur dan serta menyiapkan bahan yang digunakan. Adapun langkah Quality control yaitu pengujian visual, pengujian ukuran, pencocokan Jig dan pemberian marking. Jika terdapat kasus produk yang NG atau tidak lolos uji maka dilakukan proses pengerjaan ulang seperti pengikiran dan pengamplasan ulang pada bagian yang perlu di perbaiki. Pelaksanaan prosedur quality control pada PT. T Bekasi, Jawa Barat sudah memiliki prosedur yang efektif dan efisien karena tidak menghambat jalannya proses produksi meskipun ada beberapa kendala yang disebabkan oleh human error dan tidak dapat dihindari namun masih dapat diminimalisir.

Abstract

An industrial internship is a practical activity for students with the aim of gaining experience from this activity, which can later be used for professional development and human resource development. One of the industrial internships was carried out at a bus body company from Ungaran, namely CV. Like Bodywork. During the industrial internship the author focused on research regarding the planning and implementation of Preventive Maintenance of ABS vacuum pumps on CNC Milling machines FZ 2000. Problems that occurred during the production process using CNC Milling machines with ABS Vacuum pumps were the problem of broken blades, the radiator not running properly. Well, there's an electrical short circuit, the air hoses are leaking, the vacuum pump is leaking or overheating. Planning a maintenance system needs to be done to reduce the number of machine downtime. CV. Laksana Karoseri uses two types of maintenance systems, General Maintenance and Emergency Maintenance. Meanwhile, preventive maintenance activities carried out on the CNC MILLING FZ 2000 machine include daily maintenance, maintenance every 2 months, maintenance every 6 months and annual maintenance. Meanwhile, preventive maintenance on ABS vacuum engine pumps on CNC Milling Machines is known to be carried out every 6 months including checking and replacing the vacuum engine oil using 2 liters of Corena S4 P shell oil for every use reaching 5000 km/hour, cleaning the air filter, maintaining and cleaning the water filter and checking the spindle lubricating fluid.

Abstract

One of the efforts made in the education sector to increase the need for human resources is to implement a system that can create a workforce that is ready to apply their knowledge in the field of work. To apply the knowledge they have gained while attending lectures, students are given the opportunity to go directly to a company which is usually called an industrial internship. While carrying out industrial internships at Solo Technopark, students are placed in the CNC design and machining section. The stand gripper production process goes through several stages, namely designing product images, creating a numerical control program with Autodesk powermill software, and computer numerical control milling (CNC milling) machining processes. The problem that occurs during the stand gripper production process is that there is very little material gripping due to the size of the initial material which has very little difference with the size of the finished workpiece. The solution to this problem is to ensure strong clamping and the help of parallel blocks so that the material does not move during the execution of the workpiece.

Abstract

Bending is a process of mixing materials which results in convexity while other parts become concave due to the influence of force or bending moment. During the bending process, it results in different pipe strains, which cause permanent strains. The annealing process (heat treatment) is a process for changing the metal structure by heating the specimen. The aim of this research is to analyze the material hardness of the ASTM 304 L stainless steel long elbow pipe after the annealing process is carried out, the test is carried out at various angles, namely (0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°) using the Hardness Tester. The method used in this research is an experimental method, a research procedure carried out to determine the effects of the annealing treatment given to the material. The research results from the 0° angle have a material hardness of 156 HB, from the 90° angle the material hardness is 140 HB, from the 1800 angle the material hardness is 164 HB, from the 2700 angle the material hardness is 159 HB, the conclusion is that the annealing process and the inner angle of the long elbow pipe has a significant influence on the hardness of stainless steel materials.
