Abstract

Semi-automatic water purification machines are urgently needed by the people around the Sitopong river, Cilacap Regency. Required application and testing of the YF-S201 type water flow sensor based on Arduino Uno. This is done so that the application of the water speed sensor in the river water purification machine can be maximized. The research method used is a literature study related to Arduino Uno and conducting experiments. The experiments were carried out in the form of testing the water flow velocity sensor, carrying out the process of calibrating the water flow sensor. Sensor testing was carried out 10 times after calibration. Based on the calibration results, an average volume of 329 ml was obtained from the desired volume of 330 ml so that an error of 0.3% was obtained. Whereas at the desired volume of 600 ml, the average volume of the calibration results is 598 ml, it can be seen that an error of 0.3% is obtained at a volume of 600 ml. Function test on the water filling process with 10 trials obtained an accuracy of 99.6% for a 330 ml volume bottle and 99.6 ml for a 600 ml volume bottle.

Abstract

The fulfillment of energy for humans and animals is increasing day by day. This is evidenced by the fulfillment of electricity needs. This need is ab basic need, where humans and animals need electricity consumption 24 hours a day. So that renewable energy is needed with solar power generation for 12 hours of electricity. This research is focused on fulfilling electricity consumption in nile tilapia fish with 80 WP slar panels and 10 watt aerator power. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of dissolved oxygen in the water, the temperature in the water and the temperature in the surrounding environment. This research method uses a direct observation of dissolved oxygen with a predetermined data collection time using a dissolved oxygen measuring instrument that can be used in water. The result of this study indicate that the dissolved oxygen content produced is 14.61 mg/l with a thermal in water of 26.30C and thermal environment of around 280C.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur Quality Control pada line quality control dan finishing pada workshop Patec Presisi Enginering di PT. T Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, yaitu mengamati langsung objek yang diteliti. Beberapa tahapan quality control yaitu tahapan uji visual, uji ukuran,dan penerapan pada jig hingga perbaikan produk yang memungkinkan untuk di perbaiki hingga produk memenuhi standar yang di tetapkan di workshop Patec Presisi Enginering. Hal yang harus diperhatikan sebelum dilakukan proses Quality Control yaitu menyiapkan alat ukur dan serta menyiapkan bahan yang digunakan. Adapun langkah Quality control yaitu pengujian visual, pengujian ukuran, pencocokan Jig dan pemberian marking. Jika terdapat kasus produk yang NG atau tidak lolos uji maka dilakukan proses pengerjaan ulang seperti pengikiran dan pengamplasan ulang pada bagian yang perlu di perbaiki. Pelaksanaan prosedur quality control pada PT. T Bekasi, Jawa Barat sudah memiliki prosedur yang efektif dan efisien karena tidak menghambat jalannya proses produksi meskipun ada beberapa kendala yang disebabkan oleh human error dan tidak dapat dihindari namun masih dapat diminimalisir.

Abstract

The technique of spreading fertilizer on rice plants is an important part of equalizing land fertility. In general, farmers use their hands to spread granular fertilizer. The spreading process results in an irregular distribution of fertilizer and also takes a relatively long time. The aim of this research is to design a granular fertilizer spreader based on a technical evaluation of the concept. The Pahl and Beitz design method became a theoretical reference in finalizing the design of the granular fertilizer spreader form. Working drawings are prepared based on ISO standards using Solidwork 2018 software. Based on the results of the technical evaluation of the concept, the design of the granular fertilizer spreader is composed of thirty-three constituent components.

Abstract

Mobil listrik adalah kendaraan yang memanfaatkan energi listrik untuk bahan bakar utamanya, dan memiliki dampak positifnya yaitu tidak ada sisa hasil pembakaran yang dihasilkan yang akhirnya tidak menambah gangguan pencemaran udara. Hal yang paling utama untuk diperhatikan adalah rangka dimana rangka adalah tempat untuk menopangnya semua komponen yang berada diatasnya. Tujuan dalam penlitian ini adalah merancang desain rangka mobil listrik, menghitung kekuatan rangka dan menguji rangka dengan uji displacement. Hasil dari penilitian ini didapat bahwa desain mobil listrik type tubular space frame mendapat dimensi 2,05 x 0,85 x 1,1 meter. Untuk hasil perhitungan rangka bahwa rangka dapat digunakan dengan aman dimana tegangan ijin pada rangka tidak melebihi tegangan maksimal yaitu sebesar 388,561 Mpa dari 464 Mpa. Sedang uji displacement rangka mengalami defleksi sebesar 2 mm

Abstract

Produk ikan kembung asap jenis Home Meal Replacement (HMR) yang siap santap atau ready to eat (RTE) masih belum dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sterilisasi terhadap karakteristik sensori dari produk HMR jenis ready to eat ikan kembung asap. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu proses pengasapan, proses pembuatan produk HMR ikan kembung asap dan uji sensori. Uji sensori yang dilakukan mengacu pada SNI 2346:2015 dan dilakukan pada 30 panelis tidak terlatih. Pengujian sensori ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan atau hedonik dari panelis terhadap produk Home Meala Replacement (HMR) ikan kembung asap yang telah disterilisasi menggunakan autoklaf dengan 3 perlakuan waktu sterilisasi yaitu 30 menit, 60 menit, dan 90 menit. Data uji sensori yang diperoleh selanjutnya akan dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA one way dengan taraf uji 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan waktu sterilisasi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap keseluruhan parameter sensori. Dilihat dari tingkat kesukaan, pada keseluruhan parameter sensori diperoleh nilai 6 dan 7. Dari hasil uji sensori ini menunjukkan bahwa panelis menyukai produk HMR yang terdiri dari kentang dan ikan kembung asap yang diberi bumbu saus cabai.

Abstract

Zig-zag wire or what is usually caleed harmonica wire can be used to make fences. Making harmonica wire is doen by bending the wire into a zig-zag shape. The process of making harmonica wire fences can be used as a home industry production. Therefore, the aim of this research is to design the transmission components of the harmonica wire fence making machine by calculating the machine elements in the transmission. The research method uses the VDI 2222 method approach. The design results are in the form of a harmonica wire fence making machine. The results of calculating the machine elements on the harmonica wire fence making machine have results including the transmission pulley used, namely type A with sizes 4 inches and 14 inches, the v-belt used is type A belt with a belt circumference length of 76 inches. Meanwhile, the diameter of the shaft used in the harmonica wire fence making machine is 25 mm with S45C material and the estimated force required in bending the the wire is 7.27 N.

Abstract

The Cilacap region, Central Java, Indonesia is a coastal area that is overgrown with nipa palm trees, making it one of the potential local natural resources to be exploited. Utilization of this plant has been carried out for the fields of food, energy, clothing, pharmaceuticals, and furniture, but as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries is still being researched. Studies on lithium-ion batteries in Indonesia in particular have not started long ago so that research in this field is still limited and few in number, but the development of lithium-ion batteries has become one of the national research priorities in the field of new and renewable energy sources as stated in the Indonesian national research master plan (RIRN) for the period 2017 – 2045. This study was conducted to examine the potential feasibility of activated charcoal from nipah shells as anode material for lithium-ion batteries. The feasibility test parameters studied in this study include water content, ash content and adsorption capacity stated as iodine and methylene blue number which are the basic characterizations for activated charcoal referring to SNI 06-3730-1995. The nipah shell carbonization process was carried out in the presence of oxygen at an optimized temperature of 210 oC with a 1 hour time interval variation from 3 to 8 hours, followed by an activation process using a strong acid, namely HCl with a concentration of 2 M. The experimental results showed the average value of moisture content, ash content, iodine, and methylene blue number are 12.5%, respectively; 1.75%; 2515.9161 mg/g; and 97%, all of which are above the quality standard values, so the conclusion from this study is that activated charcoal from nipah shell has basic characteristics that have the potential to be further developed, including as raw material for lithium-ion battery anodes.

Abstract

Studies related to manipulators are still being carried out, along with the times and needs. Utilization in manufacturing and fabrication has led to the development of many manipulators. Smooth, fast, and accurate movement continue to be developed. In the case of the multi manipulator, 7 DOF (Degree of Freedom) is a type of manipulator that has special features in terms of joints. Inverse kinematic is a parameter used to control the orientation and movement of the manipulator. 7 DOF has three singularity wrist, elbow, and shoulder. In the simulation, each singularity produces an inverse kinematic matrix which is used to control the movement of the manipulator. The method used is to determine the angle of motion of the joint (continues joint angel) with simulation to produce calculations that are fast, precise, accurate, and stable. The target of each joint with the theta value that has been determined by the singularity was successfully carried out with an error of 0%.
