Abstract

ABSTRAKKepiting Bakau (Scylla serrata) merupakan jenis crustacea yang hidup di perairan pantai khususnya hutan bakau (mangrove) dan memiliki peluang pasar yang terbuka luas dan prospektif, baik domestik maupun pasar mancanegara. Pemenuhan pasar permintaan kepiting bakau masih dari hasil penangkapan di alam, dan tidak dapat dipastikan segi kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Sehingga perlu diupayakan budidaya dengan menyerupai habitat aslinya (bersubstrat) untuk dapat menghasilkan kepiting bakau yang berkualitas baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui substrat manakah yang cocok untuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan kepiting bakau yang optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental. Desain yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan. Perlakuan terdiri dari; Perlakuan A (Substrat Pasir), Perlakuan B (Substrat Lumpur), Perlakuan C (Substrat Tanah), Perlakuan D (Kontrol). Kepiting yang digunakan adalah kepiting bakau berjenis kelamin jantan dengan berat rata-rata awal 50 gr dan panjang karapas awal 7 cm. Parameter uji adalah pertumbuhan berat mutlak dan panjang mutlak pada kepiting bakau, yang dihitung mulai awal hingga akhir penelitian, serta disampling setiap minggu. Data yang diperoleh selama penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perlakuan B (Substrat Lumpur) menghasilkan pertumbuhan berat mutlak paling optimal, namun pada semua perlakuan tidak terdapat pertumbuhan panjang mutlak.Kata Kunci: kepiting bakau (Scylla serrata), pertumbuhan berat mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, substrat.ABSTRACTMangrove Crab (Scylla serrata) is a type of crustacean that lives in coastal waters, especially mangrove forests and has wide open and prospective market opportunities, both domestic and foreign markets. Fulfillment of the market demand for mangrove crabs is still caught in nature, and the quality and quantity cannot be ascertained. So it is necessary to strive for cultivation to resemble its natural habitat (substrate) in order to produce good quality mangrove crabs. The purpose of this study was to find out which substrate is suitable for optimal growth of mangrove crabs. The research method used is experimental research. The design used was a completely randomized design (RAL) with 4 (four) treatments. Treatment consists of; Treatment A (Sand Substrate), Treatment B (Mud Substrate), Treatment C (Soil Substrate), Treatment D (Control). The crabs used were male mangrove crabs with an initial average weight of 50 grams and an initial carapace length of 7 cm. The test parameters were absolute weight and absolute length growth of mangrove crabs, which were calculated from the beginning to the end of the study, and were sampled every week. The data obtained during the research were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that Treatment B (Mud Substrate) resulted in the most optimal absolute weight growth, but in all treatments there was no absolute growth in length.Keyword: Scylla serrata, absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, substrate.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan menguji pengaruh dan konsentrasi air kelapa yang tepat untuk proses maskulinisasi ikan guppy. Penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif eksperimental rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: 20% air kelapa (A), 30% air kelapa (B), Hormone 17α-metiltestosterone 2 ppm (C), dan kontrol (D). Perendaman dilakukan pada larva berusia dua hari selama 24 jam. Pengamatan persentase kelamin jantan dilakukan dengan melihat gonopodium pada ikan guppy berumur 45 hari. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pemberian air kelapa memberikan pengaruh berbeda nyata (P0,05) pada proses maskulinisasi ikan guppy. Persentase paling tinggi ditunjukan sebesar 58,03%±5,78c (C), 56,69%±6,05bc (B), 48,64%±1,17ab (D) dan 44,43%±3,51a (A). Perlakuan B (30% air kelapa) menghasilkan persentase jantan yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan C (Hormone 17α-metiltestosterone 2 ppm). Tingginya persentase kelamin jantan pada perlakuan B yang diperoleh menunjukan penggunaan larutan air kelapa 30% memberikan peluang sebagai bahan alternatif Hormone 17α-metiltestosterone. Kelangsungan hidup selama perendaman yang tertinggi sampai terendah adalah 100% (C), 100% (D), 98,98% (A) dan 97,36% (B). Tingkat kelangsungan hidup selama pemeliharaan tertinggi sampai terendah adalah 96,49% (C), 96,32% (A), 95,59% (B) dan 93,85% (D). Hasil uji menunjukan air kelapa tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup ikan guppy selama perendaman dan pemeliharaan. Kata kunci: Air kelapa, maskulinisasi, larva ikan guppyABSTRACTThe purpose of this research was to test the influence and concentration of coconut water for the process of masculinizing guppy fish. This research used quantitative methods with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and three replications. The treatment is coconut water 20% (A), coconut water 30% (B), 17α-metiltestosterone hormone 2 ppm (C), and control (D). This research conducted immersion on two-day old larvae for 24 hours. Observation of male percentage based on gonopodium in male guppy fish after 45 days of treatment. The result of the experiment gave significant differences (P0,05) in guppy masculinization. The highest percentage of male guppy were 58.03%±5.78c (C), 56.69%±6.05bc (B), 48.64%±1,17ab (D), and 44.43%±3.51a (A). Treatment B (coconut water 30%) has no significant difference with treatment C (17α-metiltestosterone hormone 2 ppm). The high percentage in treatment B was provided by 30% coconut water as an alternative 17α-metiltestosterone hormone. Survival rates in immersion from the highest were 100% (C), 100% (D), 98.98% (A), and 97.36% (B). Survival rates in maintenance from the highest were 96.49% (C), 96.32% (A), 95.59% (B) and 93.85% (D). The result showed coconut water had no significant effect on survival rate when immersioning and maintaning guppy fish. Keyword: Coconut water, masculinization, larvae of guppy fish

Abstract

ABSTRAK Ikan senangin adalah salah satu ikan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Ikan ini biasa ditangkap oleh nelayan Kelurahan Kampung Laut menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet. Jumlah, berat dan ukuran panjang rata-rata ikan Senangin yang tertangkap bergantung pada ukuran mata jaring dan panjang jaring yang digunakan oleh nelayan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tanggkapan ikan senangin menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet dengan perbedaan ukuran mata jaring 2 inchi dan 3 inchi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 mei sampai 11 juni 2022. Pengambilan sampel hasil tangkapan ikan senangin menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan 2 buah gillnet ukuran mata jaring 2 inchi dan 2 buah gillnet ukuran mata jaring 3 inchi selama 32 kali trip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata berat total hasil tangkapan sedangkan jumlah dan panjang rata-rata hasil tangkapan ikan senangin berbeda.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah berat hasil tangkapan ikan senangin menggunakan alat tangkap gillnet antara mata jaring 2 inchi dan 3 inchi berbeda tidak nyata, sedangkan jumlah hasil tangkapan diperoleh oleh mata jaring 2 inchi dan panjang rata-rata hasil tangkapan diperoleh oleh mata jaring 3 inchiKata kunci: Gillnet, mata jaring, ikan Senangin.ABSTRACTEleutheronema tetradactylum one of the fish that has high economic value. This fish is usually caught by fishermen from Kampung Laut using gillnet fishing gear. The number, weight and average length of the Sukain fish caught depend on the size of the mesh and the length of the net used by the fisherman. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the results of the catch of thraedfin fishusing gillnet fishing gear with different mesh sizes of 2 inches and 3 inches. This research was carried out on May 9 to June 11, 2022. Sampling of the fish catches used purposive sampling method using 2 gillnets with a mesh size of 2 inches and 2 gillnets with a mesh size of 3 inches for 32 trips. The results showed that there was no significant difference in the total weight of the catch, while the number and average length of the catch of thraedfin fishwere different. The conclusion of this study is that the weight of the fish caught using gillnets between 2 inch and 3 inch nets is not significantly different, while the number of catches obtained by 2 inch nets and the average length of the catch is obtained by 3 inch nets.Key word: Gillnet, Mesh size, Eleutheronema tetradactylum

Abstract

ABSTRAKDistribusi merupakan suatu bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari rantai pasok suatu produk. Peran distribusi sangat menentukan tersampainya sebuah produk sampai ke tangan konsumen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui rantai distribusi ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan di TPI Branta Pamekasan, menganalisis margin pemasaran ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan di TPI Branta dan menganalisis dampak distribusi ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan di TPI Branta terhadap ekonomi para pelaku usaha. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif berupa pola distribusi hasil tangkapan ikan di TPI Pelabuhan Branta Kabupaten Pamekasan. Sampel ikan yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini berupa ikan swanggi, ikan kurisi, dan ikan selar kuning. Rantai distribusi yang ada di TPI Branta Kecamatan Tlanakan Kabupaten Pamekasan memiliki 5 tipe distribusi. Rantai disrtibusi tipe 1 yaitu nelayan - pengecer -konsumen akhir. Tipe 2 yaitu nelayan - pengepul - konsumen akhir. Tipe 3 yaitu nelayan -pengecer -konsumen akhir. Tipe 4 yaitu nelayan - konsumen akhir dan tipe 5 yaitu nelayan -pabrik pengolahan ikan. Margin pemasaran dalam setiap rantai distribusi ikan swanggi, ikan kurisi dan ikan selar kuning diperoleh untuk pengepul sebesar Rp.5,000-10,000 dan untuk pengecer sebesar Rp.5,000-3,000 dan pengolah sebesar Rp.3,000. Pendapatan rata-rata perhari untuk nelayan yaitu Rp.150,000. Pendapatan rata-rata perhari untuk pedangan pengepul ikan yaitu Rp.50,000.000, sedangkan pendapatan rata-rata pedagang pengecer ikan yaitu Rp.100,000.Kata kunci: Distribusi, margin pemasaran, farmer’s share, efisiensi pemasaranABSTRACTDistribution is an inseparable part of the supply chain of a product. The role of distribution is very decisive for the arrival of a product into the hands of consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution chain of fish caught by fishermen at TPI Branta Pamekasan, to know the analysis of marketing margins of fish caught by fishermen at TPI Branta and to determine the impact of distribution of fish caught at TPI Branta on the economy of business actors. This research uses descriptive analysis. Descriptive analysis technique in this case is used to describe the distribution pattern of fish catches at TPI Branta Port, Pamekasan Regency. The fish samples analyzed in this study were swanggi fish, kurisi fish, and yellow sea bass. The distribution chain in the Branta fish auction, Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency has 5 types of marketing. Type 1 chain distribution, where fishermen sell fish to shops, then sell fish to individual consumers. Type 2 is fishermen selling fish to collectors and collectors selling fish to final consumers. Type 3, where fishermen sell fish directly to retailers and continue to individual consumers. Type 4 is fishermen selling fish directly to individual consumers and type 5 is fishermen selling fish to processors. The marketing margin in each distribution chain of swanggi fish, kurisi fish and yellow selar fish is known to have a margin of Rp. 5,000-10,000 for collectors and Rp. 5,000-3,000 for retailers and Rp. 3,000 for processors. The daily income for fishermen is the highest around Rp. 3,660,450, the lowest is around Rp. 50,000 and the average income is Rp. 150,000. daily income for collectors is the highest, reaching Rp. 120,000,000, the lowest is Rp. 2,000,000 and the average is Rp. 500,000,000. The income at TPI Branta is the highest at Rp. 50,000, the lowest is Rp. 25,000 and the average is around Rp. 100,000.Keywords: Distribution, marketing margin, profit sharing, marketing efficiency

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat konsumsi oksigen benih ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus) pada volume air yang berbeda. Ikan uji yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah benih ikan berumur 2 bulan. Penelitian yang digunakan berjenis penelitian eksperimen dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan volume air yang berbeda dan 3 kali ulangan sebagai berikut : (A) 10 liter, (B) 15 liter, (C) 20 liter, dan (D) 25 liter dengan kepadatan 2 individu/liter. Wadah yang digunakan adalah ember 28 liter sebanyak 12 unit. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan uji One Way ANOVA dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara perlakuan satu dengan lainnya dilakukan uji lanjut Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume air yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap tingkat konsumsi oksigen benih ikan mas koki (Carassius auratus). Tingkat konsumsi oksigen selama 4 minggu penelitian pada perlakuan A : 0,08 ± 0,03 mgO2/g/jam, perlakuan B : 0,09 ± 0,02 mgO2/g/jam, perlakuan C : 0,11 ± 0,02mgO2/g/jam dan perlakuan D : 0,13 ± 0,02 mgO2/g/jam. Hasil uji Tukey menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan A berbeda nyata dengan C dan D, namun, tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan B. Nilai parameter kualitas air yang diperoleh selama penelitian adalah DO 4,93 – 5,46 mg/L, suhu 26,34 – 27,05°C, dan pH 7,57 – 8,20.Kata Kunci: Carassius auratus, Ikan Mas Koki, Tingkat Konsumsi Oksigen, Volume AirABSTRACTThe research aim was to analyze the oxygen consumption level of goldfish (Carassius auratus) juvenile in different water volume. The fish used in this research was juvenile of 2 months. Experimental method was used, completely random design with 4 treatments and 3 replications of different water volumes as follow: (A) 10 liters, (B) 15 liters, (C) 20 liters, and (D) 25 liters with stocking densities 2 individual/liter. The container used is chamber 28 liters as many as 12 pieces. Statistical analysis used One Way ANOVA and to know the difference between a single treatment with other treatments performed advanced test which used Tukey Test. The results showed that different water volume had significant effect on oxygen consumption of goldfish (Carassius auratus) juvenile. The oxygen consumption level for 4 weeks of research in treatment A : 0,08 ± 0,03 mgO2/g/hour, treatment B: 0,09 ± 0,02 mgO2/g/hour, treatment C : 0,11 ± 0,02mgO2/g/hour and treatment D : 0,13 ± 0,02 mgO2/g/hour. Tukey test results showed that treatment A was significantly different from C and D, but not significantly different from treatments B. The water quality values obtained during the research were DO 4,93 – 5,46 mg/L, temperature 26,34 – 27,05°C, and pH 7,57 – 8,20.Keywords: Carassius auratus, Goldfish, Oxygen Consumption, Water Volume
