Abstract

The research begins with the fact that the learning process in SD is monotonous, the development of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of students is not well developed, so that the student learning outcomes of Civics are not optimal. To overcome this problem, a simulation method is used. The research objective was to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in Civics learning with the simulation method in class VI SDN 15 Muaro Takung Padang. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Research includes (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The research was conducted in two cycles, carried out collaboratively with class teachers and peers. Data collection through observation and tests. The research subjects were 18 grade students of SDN 15 Muaro Takung in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research, which was conducted using the simulation method, has succeeded in improving the Civics learning outcomes of the VI grade students of SDN 15 Muaro Takung. The results of the RPP assessment obtained the RPP assessment score for the first cycle of meeting 1 = 56.25%, meeting 2 = 62.5%. Cycle II meeting 1 = 78%, meeting 2 = 81.25%. Implementation of the teacher's aspect in the first cycle of meeting 1 = 58%, meeting 2 = 67%. Cycle II meeting 1 ¬ = 79%, meeting 2 = 90%. The results of observations of aspects of students in the first cycle of meeting 1 = 58%, meeting 2 = 69%, cycle II of meeting 1 = 79%, meeting 2 = 87%. While student learning outcomes in the first cycle of meeting 1 = 59.00, in the first cycle of meeting 2 = 65.28 and in the second cycle of meeting 1 to 71.33, in the second cycle of meeting 2 had an increase with the average obtained that is 84, 78. From the results of the research data analysis, it can be concluded that using the simulation method can improve the understanding and learning outcomes of Civics class VI students of SDN 15 Muaro Takung.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects studied from basic education to tertiary institutions. Mathematics has an important role to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critically and creatively, and the ability to work together. This research uses cooperative learning model type STAD which is a classroom action research. This research is based on the fact in the field that there are still many elementary school (SD) students who experience difficulties in adding the unequal denominated ordinary fractions. To overcome this, actions were taken using the STAD cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V SD students with the STAD cooperative learning model. Data collection was carried out by means of tests, questionnaires, observations and observation sheets and other instruments that support research. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the STAD type of cooperative learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes for learning the addition of ordinary fractions with the not the same name at SDN 25 Muaro Takung Kec, Kamang Baru. STAD type cooperative learning is carried out in 6 steps: "(1) preparation of learning, (2) presentation of material, (3) group learning activities, (4) tests, (5) calculation of individual improvement scores, (6) group awards" To determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes in verbal form, the data is related to student activities and teacher activities, as well as the achievement of student learning outcomes. STAD type cooperative learning needs to be used as a guide in learning activities. STAD type cooperative learning can not only be applied to certain materials in mathematics learning, but to all materials in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Based on the experience felt in grade IV SD Negeri 11 Kunangan Parit Rantang shows that Civics learning is still carried out conventionally where teachers still use learning media that is limited to textbooks and learning assessment is only in the cognitive domain. This causes students to be less active in the learning process and the learning outcomes they get are low. To improve the learning outcomes of students in Civics learning, classroom action research was conducted. The purpose of this study is to describe how the design, implementation and assessment of Civics learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. In practice, this study consisted of two cycles conducted collaboratively with Civics teachers. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementing actions accompanied by observation and reflection in each cycle. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year at SD Negeri 11 Kunangan Parit Rantang with the research subjects being all the fourth grade students of the researched elementary school. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, field notes, documentation and test results. The results of the research data analysis showed that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach media could improve student learning outcomes in Civics learning in class IV SD Negeri 11 Kunangan Parit Rantang. This can be seen from (1) the learning outcomes of students in the cognitive realm increased from an average value of 71.5 in cycle I to 89 in cycle II, (2) in the affective domain increased from an average value of 66 in cycle I to 94 in cycle II and (3) in the psychomotor domain increased from an average value of 73 in cycle I to 95 in cycle II. Seeing the results of this study, classroom action research using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach in Civics learning needs to be applied and developed in order to improve the quality of education in the future.

Abstract

Research is motivated by the fact in elementary schools that learning is often dominated by teachers as a source of information. Based on the experience in the field of student learning outcomes in science is still low, for this reason the researcher through this classroom action research wants to try to improve science learning outcomes by using a constructivism approach to grade IV students of SD Negeri 15 Muara Takung, Kamang Baru sub-district. The approach used is a qualitative approach which consists of two cycles covering four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, reflecting. This research data is in the form of information about the process and data on the results of the action obtained from observations, interviews, and tests. Research subjects were teachers, researchers (practitioners) and fourth grade students, totaling 34 people. Data analysis was performed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis models. The assessments used in data collection were process assessment (affective and psychomotor), outcome assessment (cognitive) and observation sheet signs using the constructivism approach from the teacher and student aspects. To determine the increase in student learning outcomes, tests were held which were analyzed using assessments with a class success benchmark of at least 75%. Student learning outcomes using the constructivism approach in cycles I and II have increased where the average value in cycle I is obtained an average of 73 and in cycle II an average of 83.Thus it can be concluded that learning science using the constructivism approach can improve Science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Muara Takung.

Abstract

Learning will be meaningful if the teacher involves students directly in learning. The results of observations show that the teacher has not directly involved students in learning so that the mathematics learning outcomes are still low. This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes through Realistic Mathematics Learning in grade VI SD Negeri 40 Muaro Takung, Kamang Baru District, Kab. Sijunjung Learning outcomes used include cognitive learning outcomes and student attitudes while participating in learning. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively with class teachers. The research design used a modified Kemmis & McTaggart model in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of the study included 15 grade students of SD Negeri 40 Muaro Takung. The object of research is the result of learning mathematics through realistic mathematics learning. Data collection techniques are tests and observations. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VI students at SD Negeri 40 Muaro Takung, Kamang Baru District, Sijunjung Regency could increase after being given action through Realistic Mathematics Learning. Realistic Mathematics Learning used is to use real problems in life, use props, discuss results, find concepts, then the teacher introduces standard procedures / formulas and links other concepts in related mathematics. Students do not immediately get the formula but first the students are directly involved in making observations using props and group discussions so that they find a concept. Cognitive learning outcomes in pre-action showed that as many as 6 students (20%) had reached the KKM then in cycle I increased to 17 students (53.33%) and in cycle II increased to 27 students (80%). The average result of the attitude in the first cycle reached 58.33% while the second cycle the attitudes average was 77.5%. Thus, Realistic Mathematics Learning can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade VI students of SD Negeri 40 Muaro Takung, Kamang Baru District, Sijunjung Regency.

Abstract

Based on the experience of researchers at SDN 22 Pulasan in class III PAI subjects, information was obtained that KKM was an Islamic Education subject. From the KKM 75 that was determined, among the third grade students of SDN 22 Pulasan, only reaching the KKM in these subjects was still less than the KKM 75% which ultimately caused the teacher to make remedials. This shows that the learning outcomes achieved by students are still low. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) or a translation of Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research is action research carried out in the classroom when learning takes place. This research was conducted with the aim of improving or improving the quality of learning. This research also focuses on class or on the learning process that occurs in the classroom. Based on the results of research in cycle I and cycle II after the implementation of the Example non Example learning strategy, it can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education on the subject of Confidence, Perseverance and Thrifty Behavior in class III SDN 22 Pulasan This can be proven by the increased learning outcomes of students after the implementation of the Example non Example learning strategy. In the pre-cycle stage there was an average of 57.94 with 52% classical completeness, in the first cycle the average learning outcomes were 71.47 with classical completeness reaching 70%. And in cycle 2 the average learning outcomes are 83.23 with classical completeness reaching 88%.
