Abstract

Energy has been a human need since ancient times which has been an indicator of prosperity. However, that doesn't mean there won't be problems. The longer the petroleum reserves are getting depleted, so sooner or later humans must make more use of non-fossil alternative energy. An example is solar energy whose availability will never run out. Therefore, the application of Solar Power Generation (PLTS) technology to utilize its energy potential. The goal of the project is to develop a system for integrating solar power with electrical grids that can track the voltage and current of the applied load. The PZEM004T sensor produces an accuracy of 99.4 percent on the voltage variable test, which compares favorably with the ACS712 current sensor's accuracy of 97.8 percent. The lowest light intensity measured in the current variable test is 24351 lux with an output voltage of 17.32V at the time range between 4-5 pm, and the highest is 103901 lux with an output voltage of 18.9V at the time range between 11-12 am. Accuracy is 98.5 percent with light loads and 99.2 percent when the charger is used. Relays' ability to switch between resources has been tested, and the results have met expectations.

Abstract

According to the results of a 2022 survey conducted by the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII), internet users in Indonesia continued to increase from 175 million to 220 million users of the total population of Indonesia. The increase was driven by the need for communication during the Covid-19 pandemic in the last two years. Most internet users are on the island of Java, followed by the islands of Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali-Nusa, and Maluku-Papua. PT. Tentrem Sejahtera is one of the Inter-City In-Province bus companies based on the island of Java, precisely in East Java. The ordering and payment process is still done manually or offline. Consumers who want to buy tickets must come directly to the terminal, to an authorized agent who has been appointed or do it directly when boarding the bus and make transactions in cash. Where when making manual or cash payments sometimes you have to wait a few minutes to issue money and wait for the ticket given by the conductor, while the level of security in payments is very less, so it is less efficient in this sophisticated era. In addition, there are still unscrupulous brokers at several bus departures who sell tickets that do not match the specified price. This study used the e-wallet electronic payment model method, with a mobile payment system for QRIS-based bus fares. With the National Mercant ID (NMID) listed on the QRIS display, a receipt will be issued on the Thermal Print for proof of payment.

Abstract

To facilitate learning with video streaming, a transport protocol that can send video is needed, such as HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) or RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). Both protocols have their respective advantages and disadvantages when sent over a MANET network. One of them is that the throughput on RTSP is greater but the use of memory is more, this is inversely proportional to the RTSP protocol. In this study, the delay value in scheme 1 HTTP and RTSP protocols has an average delay of 23.225 seconds and 19.075 seconds. The throughput has an average value of 699.165 kbps and 802.656 kbps. Packet loss has an average value of 0.428% and 17.9%. For the use of transmit power nodes have an average of -33 dBm and -31.25 dBm. Memory usage has an average value of 108.46 Mb and 149.6 Mb.While in scheme 2 the delay values for HTTP and RTSP protocols are 28 seconds and 26.1 seconds on average. Throughput 1186,803 kbps and 1316,076 kbps. Packet loss has an average value of 0.0325% and 18.69%. On the use of transmit power nodes have an average of -34 dBm and -32 dBm. Memory usage has an average value of 107.525 Mb and 154.275 Mb.

Abstract

Wireless technology is a wireless communication technology that is currently widely used by the public to exchange information. The current information exchange is growing as communication requirements rise. The antenna design needs to be improved in order to boost bandwidth. Microstrip antennas are one kind of antenna that can be used for wireless communication. Meanwhile, to improve the bandwidth value of the antenna can be done using the Defected ground structure or DGS technique. The results of testing the microstrip array circular patch antenna with DGS at 2462 MHz frequency show that it has a maximum gain of 15.7 dBi at a frequency of 2530 MHz and a return loss value of -19.3 dB with a VSWR value of 1,242. There is a type of directional radiation pattern in the antenna of the Microstrip Array with DGS. This study's findings indicate that the Circular Array Microstrip antenna with DGS has a bandwidth of 73 MHz while the Circular Microstrip Array without DGS has a lesser bandwidth of 28 MHz.

Abstract

The need for accurate indoor location determination, object tracking, digital maps and indoor travel routes is increasing along with the construction of buildings that have complex and spacious layouts. The current Global Positioning System navigation system is only effective for outdoor use. However, when used indoors it becomes inaccurate due to factors such as signal attenuation and multipath caused by wall obstructions in the building. This study designed an application of Indoor Positioning and Navigating System Using Wi-Fi with Fingerprinting method and Weighted K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. In the design process, it is necessary to create a fingerprinting database by considering the number of Access points and environmental conditions. Based on the results of the study, the location results of the application show that from floors 1,2, and 3. Floor 1 has a room accuracy result of 89% and a point accuracy of 86% with an average deviation of 1.42 px or 0.9 m, floor 2 has room accuracy results. of 65% and a point accuracy of 70% with an average deviation of 2.43 px or 1.7 m, and the 3rd floor has a room accuracy of 86% and a point accuracy of 68% with an average deviation of 2.27 or 1.5 m. Based on the data above, this application is proven to be able to detect the position of someone in the room with a success percentage on the 1st floor by 90%, the 2nd floor by 55%, and the 3rd floor by 80%.

Abstract

Fertilization plays a very large role in crop yields if done in the right way, effective and efficient fertilization will be achieved if the soil fertility conditions are known in advance. However, the problem is that farmer fertilization is still carried out by means of estimates based on land area without estimating the factor of soil needs. In this study the system uses a Wireless Sensor Network where there are 2 nodes installed on the land to monitor the measurement of soil moisture, soil pH, and nutrients using soil moisture sensors, soil pH sensors, and NPK sensors. From these sensors, it will be integrated through the Arduino Uno microcontroller which will later be connected to the LoRa system to send measurement information data on the land to the raspberry pi.The communication system between nodes is designed with a peer to per topology. The results of this study are the use of appropriate fertilizers and then can restore soil conditions to ideal soil conditions. From the experimental results, it is found that the peer to peer communication system can work well.

Abstract

Communication plays an important role in society. This can be seen in the amount of information that is spread, such as information in the form of sound, images, and videos. But communicating is not always easy. Due to the large number of sounds emitted from different sources, other sounds will be disturbed. The interference caused by noise can distort the information signal, leading a sine wave to integrate a minor noise signal. As a result, the receiver cannot differentiate the actual information signal and the added noise. This study proposed a noise-reduction system by analyzing the effect of the number of filter orders on the noise canceler system. The information signal will be processed using the STM32F4 noise canceller system, which will then be filtered using an adaptive filter with a Finite Impulse Response (FIR) structure and the Least Mean Square (LMS) algorithm. The test results show that the best SNR value is obtained at Order 40 of 5.3671 dB at a sound duration of 14 seconds, while the best PSNR value is obtained at Order 40 of 21.3557 at a sound duration of 9 seconds, and the higher the filter order value, the smaller the MSE value.

Abstract

Antennas are an important component in wireless communication systems that continue to grow in the use of the 2.4 GHz frequency for 4G/LTE applications. Technology in the field of telecommunications has developed very rapidly using wireless communication, which is easily accessible by various devices, for example, Wi-Fi or Wireless Fidelity. Microstrip antenna is one type of antenna that has a narrow bandwidth, small gain. This research aims to widen the bandwidth by designing and manufacturing a truncated corner microstrip patch antenna with a 2x4 array at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a U-slot. The truncated corner method is used to obtain circular polarization. The truncated corner microstrip antenna is designed by cutting corners. The array method is used to obtain the maximum gain value, while the addition of U-slot aims to reduce the return loss and Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) values.

Abstract

Paper is one type of archive that is stored in the Archives Building. Maintenance of paper type archives needs to be considered to avoid mold growth and discoloration due to cigarette smoke. Therefore, a telecontrolling device is needed that can maintain a stable air humidity at 30% - 55% and a temperature of 15 °C - 22 °C. However, devices with a frequency of 2.4 GHz should not be used simultaneously in the same area because it will cause interference that can reduce performance. In this study, a temperature tele controlling system and smoke detection in the archive warehouse were made using hybrid visible light communication technology to improve data transmission performance. The system consists of 1 transmitter node connected to DHT 22, MQ 2, LED laser and WiFi network, as well as 2 receiver nodes to control the fan and water pump. The data from the receiver will be passed through the photodiode and then processed by the microcontroller. If the temperature value reaches the threshold, the receiver node will send a command so that the fan will turn on automatically, then if the smoke value reaches the threshold, the water pump will turn on automatically. The temperature and smoke values ??can be monitored in real time through the android application. The test results show that the use of hybrid visible light communication technology in the tele controlling system makes the delivery performance better.

Abstract

Cluster housing is chosen by many people because of the security system is uses one gate system. However, the housing portal system that is often encountered still uses human labor and guest data recording is also still done manually.  It often happens that the housing portal is always open, so that residents and non-residents can enter and exit the housing freely. Based on the existing problems, this research proposes an innovation, namely "Prototype of Cluster Housing Portal Security System Using Fingerprint and One Time Password Based on Internet of Things". Fingerprint is used for portal access by residents, while One Time Password (OTP) is used by guests to access the portal. The OTP is made through the citizen's website. The OTP will later be sent by residents to guests, so they can access the portal without having to have a security guard. All portal access data and guest data can be monitored through the security officer's website. The test parameters in this study are the accuracy of the fingerprint sensor, the suitability of the OTP code, the accuracy of the proximity sensor E18-D80NK, Quality of services (QoS), and the overall system test.
