Abstract

Jopuro Banyuwangi tourist attraction is a natural tourist attraction that offers natural beauty, such as springs, rivers and rice fields. However, based on identification, the completeness of facilities and infrastructure in Jopuro is still minimal. The minimal completeness of facilities and infrastructure at a tourist attraction will affect the standardization of the facilities provided when visiting Jopuro tourist attraction. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. This method was used to identify the completeness of facilities and infrastructure in Jopuro tourist attraction. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting direct observations in the field, interviews with managers, literature studies and documentation of existing facilities and infrastructure. Based on the research results, the facilities and infrastructure at Jopuro tourist attraction are quite complete but need to be improved in quality to provide comfort for tourists. Data also shows that the number of visits to Jopuro tourist attraction continues to increase every year. This is influenced by the main attraction of this destination which offers bathing activities with a natural concept, a network of relationships with TV media, as well as the location of Rejopuro hamlet as a transit for foreign tourists who will climb the Ijen Crater TWA. The advice that the author can give in this research is that Jopuro tourist attraction needs to improve the quality of managers or human resources (HR) in maintaining and developing tourism facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research is designed to describe D3 Hospitality Denpasar Academy of Tourism students’ perception toward foreign language learning especially Japanese and English to maximize the process of foreign language learning. Framed within a qualitative design, this study employed observation, survey, and interview methods with an observation sheet, a questionnaire, and an interview guide as the instruments to collect the data. The study results showed that the student’s perception of foreign language learning was that Japanese is more difficult than English. It was because the students found more challenges in writing and pronunciation during the learning process of Japanese. Further, it was affected by the learning frequency, in which English is being learned from elementary to higher education levels. Meanwhile, Japanese is only learned at the higher education level and the application of Japanese in daily life tends to be limited. This indicates that limited learning of foreign languages other than English has a major influence on perception of learning a foreign language.

Abstract

The accounting department, especially accounts payable, plays an important role in keeping the hotel's operations running smoothly. One of those roles is to establish good cooperative relationships with external parties of the hotel, namely vendors. Adiwana Hotel & Resorts is a hotel located in Ubud, Bali. One of the efforts made by Adiwana Hotel & Resorts to create good cooperation with vendors is to implement a good debt payment procedure between the hotel, Adiwana Hotel & Resorts, and the vendors. The debt payment process that follows the procedure will smoothen operations at Adiwana Hotel & Resorts. This research aims to analyze the debt payment procedures to vendors by accounts payable at Adiwana Hotels & Resorts. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The procedure for debt payment to vendors at Adiwana Hotels & Resorts begins with the purchasing process, followed by receipt, and concludes with the payment process to the vendor. The debt payment process is handled by the accounting department, which involves the purchasing, receiving, and payment sections. The debt payment process requires documents including Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, Receiving Report, Sales Invoice, Tax Invoice, Bank Payment Voucher, and Receipt. Good cooperation is required between sections in the accounting department and other departments involved in purchasing and receiving goods so that the necessary documents can be completed on time, allowing debt payments to be carried out according to procedure.
