Abstract

The research departs from the belief that in addition to the teacher style in teaching the students, the teacher's learning style also affects the learning achievement students have gained. This research uses quantitative research. The research subject is 30 teachers of Madrasa in the Ministry of Religious Affairs who have followed a training. To support the research, questionnaire, interview, and observation were used as primary and secondary data. The results conclude that the teacher's learning style is much more visually compared to other styles of learning, the visual learning style focuses on vision. It shows that teacher learning styles have no correlation with the teacher's teaching style. In verificative analysis also gained the teacher's teaching style is lower to the student's learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, teachers are required to be able to carry out creative and innovative learning by utilizing technology. One approach that fits these demands is the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) approach. The purpose of this paper is to describe the STEM concept and the implementation of the STEM approach to Chemistry learning at the Madrasah Aliyah / Senior High School level. The method used in this writing is literature review by selecting several articles and journals regarding the STEM approach and its implementation at Madrasah Aliyah / Senior High School level. In addition, a basic competency study of 2013 curriculum was conducted which could be integrated into the STEM approach. The results of the study show that some of the basic competencies in Chemistry subjects in Madrasah Aliyah / Senior High Schools can be integrated with the STEM approach through the stages of the STEM approach and giving projects to students. In this way, the implementation of the STEM approach in the Chemistry subject of Madrasah Aliyah / Senior High School can be done in order to prepare competent human resources to face the 21st century.

Abstract

Balai Diklat Keagamaan Padang memiliki fungsi menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) bagi tenaga teknis Pendidikan Pelaksanaan. Terselenggaranya diklat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi peserta diklat dan memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan pelaksanaan tugasnya di madrasah masing-masing. Salah satu diklat yang dilaksanakan adalah DTS Model-model pembelajaran. Untuk mengetahui kefektifan pelaksanaan diklat ini maka dilakukan penelitian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan efektivitas diklat terhadap efikasi diri guru di madrasah dan menjelaskan efektivitas diklat terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru setelah mengikuti DTS Model-model Pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian adalah alumni DTS Model-model pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan dari Tanggal 13 s.d. 18 Mei 2019 yang berjumlah 30 orang. DTS model-model Pembelajaran ini dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja di Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Solok. Peserta merupakan guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), dan Guru Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur Kirkpatrick dari level 1 sampai dengan level 3. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi peserta diklat setelah mengikuti diklat adalah 88,9%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan DTS Model-model pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat efektif dalam membentuk efikasi diri guru. Selanjutnya, untuk kompetensi pedagogik menunjukkan hasil 85% yang juga menjelaskan bahwa DTS Model-model pembelajaran dapat membangun kompetensi pedagogik sampai pada kategori sangat efektif. Dengan itu dapat dikatakan bahwa bahwa pelaksanaan DTS Model-model pembelajaran sangat efektif hal ini ditunjukkan oleh data-data di atas.

Abstract

Seeking the needs of IT Governance at regional office of the Ministry of religious affair in West Sumatera is the aim of the research. Thus, it creates the design of IT Governance documents fills with the policy related to leadership, structure and processes critical IT’s. This research used research and development method with a COBIT 4.1 (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology 4.1) framework and its supporting tools. The method of analysis was through semi-structured interview to the head of regional office of the Ministry the religious affair in West Sumatera and any related documents on IT Implementation. The result was in a form of documents on IT governance which has the policy dealt with leadership, structure and  processes critical IT’s at regional office of the Ministry of religious affair in West Sumatera.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how is archives management by utilizing makeshift facilities and infrastructure around us in supporting administrative services at the Ministry of Religion Office Jambi City. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative data. Observations include the implementation of archive management process, and the role of planning, organizing, monitoring and paying attention to the factors that determine archive management cover human resources, infrastructure, budget, support and leadership attention. The data analyzed were the results of observations and interviews with the Head, Sub. Administration Section, Section Head, Coordinator, and Staffs in the Office. The results showed that archives management although only supported by minimal facilities and infrastructure, still refers to archival management patterns of classification, guidelines for handling letters and structuring files. The results also show that the management is in accordance with archival standards, but the facilities and infrastructure used have not met archiving standards. A very determining factor for the success of archives management in supporting administrative services is the support from the leader and the budget. Without it, archive management activities cannot run optimally. In addition to budget, the need for facilities infrastructure may not be fulfilled.
