Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the BDK Makassar e-Learning website and the level of conformity of BDK Makassar e-Learning to user needs using the webqual 4.0 and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research using a questionnaire instrument to determine the Useability, Information and Service Interactio of the BDK Makassar e-learning website.  Data analysis techniques use webqual and IPA analysis techniques.  The results showed that the overall average value in each interest component was 3.83, while the overall average value on each performance component was 3.70 with a degree of conformity between the expectations of participants and widyaiswara with a performance level on the elements of performance and importance of 96.72%, as well as an average gap level of -0.466 which means that the BDK Makassar e-Learning website has a quality of service that does not meet the expectations of participants and  Widyaiswara. The results of the IPA analysis show that the BDK Makassar e-Learning web is in quadrant I of the First Priority, especially in the Information Quality Element which is an important indicator but the performance displayed is low.  In order for BDK Makassar e-Learning to be improved in quality, it is necessary to address the relevance of information (IQ 11) so that user expectations can be met.

Abstract

Learning problems occur in Islamic Education is the students’ saturation when participating learning activities and their low interest in studying Islamic education. Other causes include monotonous learning methodologies and learning media. The study aims to determine the relationship between cooperative learning and multimedia learning media with students’ learning interest in Islamic Education. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research method. The techniques used in the research are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using quantitative techniques aided by Microsoft Office Excel and SPSS 20. The results showed that the correlation coefficient numerical analysis of cooperative learning model with students’ learning interest over the subject is 0.275, obtained a significant correlation and categorized as low correlation. The result of numerical analysis of correlation coefficients in multiimedia learning media with students’ learning interest to the subject is 0,308, implies significant correlation and low category. The relationship between cooperative learning model and multimedia learning media with students’ interest in Islamic Education subject altogether is 0.328, which means significant with low correlation category.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to emphasize the importance of practice or habituation, in addition to invoke students to live Islamic way. Habituation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools is an actualization of student character building since an early age. In addition to teachers, supervisors also have a strategic role for improving the quality of PAI through habituation programs, because they can coordinate directly with two relevant agencies: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and The Education and Cultural Office. The methods used in this study are participatory observation, interviews, and literature review to support the main data. The results show that the role of PAI Supervisors in habituation is to motivate, to facilitate, as well as to be a partner for finding solutions towards the obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in schools. It can be concluded that the supervisor as a Quality Assurance of Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools must support teachers to be able to manage the habituation proportionally, to encourage stakeholders, to integrate it with all school elements, and to complement the facilities as well as infrastructures which are still unevenly maintained by the elementary schools.

Abstract

Concept maps can help students to understand the subject matter because it is not just memorizing, but actually identifying the concepts obtained. In other words, concept maps provide schemas for analyzing new stimuli, and for determining relationships within and between categories. Classroom Action Research is designed for this study. To lead the achieved objectives, the study examines: 1) The process of student learning mathematics after learning using concept maps in each cycle and throughout the cycle, 2) Increasing students' mathematical communication skills in mapping and explaining mathematical concepts by using concept maps, 3) Students' responses to learning mathematics by using concept maps. The results are: 1) An overview of the learning process using concept maps is displayed in form of class photos during learning activities, 2) Mathematical communication skills in each cycle always increases by an average value of the first cycle is 73.15%, the second cycle is 77.15%, and the third cycle is 81.52%, 2) The students' mathematical communication ability after following the entire learning cycle shows good criteria with an average of 83.23%, 3) Based on the attitude scale score analysis, it is obtained that in general, students have a positive attitude towards learning using concept maps.

Abstract

This study examines the diagnostic assessment results of reading, writing and mathematics prerequisite skills of 192 grade VII MTsN 28 Jakarta students. The assessment measures reading and writing in Arabic and Latin, and application level of mathematics for the needs of implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka. The assessment was carried out on the 11th of July 2022 using online questions and written tests in reading, writing and mathematics in the level of elementary school curriculum. The results of the assessment are processed with descriptive statistics and interpreted into certain qualitative level of competencies. In addition, the results are interpreted form the perspective of AKM (minimum competency assessment), the Indonesia national assessment system. The results shows that 7% of students are not fluent in reading Arabic, 17% are not fluent in writing Arabic, 44% had low level in reading comprehension, and 10% Latin writing of the students are still difficult to read. Likewise in basic mathematics application, 42% of students are still in low level. In terms of AKM perspective as a whole, the literacy and numeracy levels have not yet reached the minimum competence. The results of the assessment have two implications. Firstly, the madrasah should organize a preliminary learning to help the students master prerequisite skills. Secondly in terms of AKM, madrasah should carry out curriculum engineering to improve the quality of literacy and numeracy-based learning.
