Abstract

Environmental problems are global issues caused by low public awareness of the importance of environmental management. One factor is the environmental pollution generated by waste. The problem of waste is closely related to the lifestyle and culture of the community. If waste management does not get the attention of various parties, it will make environmental conditions worse and human health conditions also go down. Therefore, awareness of the importance of waste management needs to be instilled since childhood. This activity was carried out at SDN 007 Pangkalan Baru, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Based on the activities that have been carried out, most students do not yet understand how to classify and process waste to be economic value so the education should be given to the students. This activity can be said successful because of the high enthusiasm and participation of students in answering the questions that given based on the material that has been delivered.

Abstract

This community service is motivated by many complaints of teachers who have difficulty in analyzing teacher-made questions to be used in evaluations. As a professional teacher we must make good questions and be able to analyze the questions to be used in the test. In addition, a teacher is also required to be proficient in using IT to support his work in the current era of globalization. Based on this, the community service needs to be held with the aim to assist teachers in preparing questions that are well used in evaluation. Long-term application of this activity is very beneficial for teachers and lecturers, teachers will be helped by the implementation of this service. For lecturers, this activity is needed as a form of implementation and fulfillment of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education). The form of activities carried out in this was training to use Bilog Software for questions analysis for Teachers of SMA Plus Binabangsa Pekanbaru. This service activity ran well which held in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year at Binabangsa High School Plus. In this activity the teachers was very enthusiastic in participating, the lecturer was also enthusiastic in teaching Bilog Software for Question Analysis. From this activity the teacher was greatly helped in analyzing the questions and making the evaluation process successful.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide OSIS students with skills in publik speaking to train OSIS students to be skilled in publik speaking at Rumbai Sports High School in Pekanbaru. The material provided in the form of "Publik speaking Workshop Training Skilled Students Speak in Public". This material was given to students of OSIS at the Pekanbaru High School of Sports in Tegal City with a total of 35 participants consisting of OSIS students and Extracurricular Trustees. The results of this activity are (1) giving knowledge in the field of publik speaking to OSIS students so that they are skilled in publik speaking (2) students are expected to be able to apply their publik speaking knowledge to realize the vision and mission of the School.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide training to physical education teachers in Kuantan Singingi district in the application of the character-based Jasamani education learning model when learning physical education in schools. So that the implementation of the K13 curriculum in schools goes well and the role of a physical education teacher in the future will be in handling the character of students to be better and to educate people who have the character of the qarimah. Activities include training in the application of physical education learning models to physical education teachers in Kuantan Regency. This activity was carried out at SMA N Pintar of Kuantan Bay, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The activity was attended by 35 high school level physical education teachers who are equal in the Kuantan Singingi Kabutapan. The results of this activity are very good because it is very helpful to the knowledge of high school physical education teachers in the application of learning models that must be realized in the K13 curriculum.
