Abstract

Lecturer performance evaluation is a crucial component in improving the quality of higher education. This study examines the application of the Multi-Factor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method in evaluating lecturers' performance at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. The aspects assessed include pedagogical, professional, personal, and social factors. Data were collected through Likert-scale-based questionnaires distributed to students. The MFEP method was employed to process the evaluation data, considering each aspect's weight and evaluation factors. The analysis results show that the professional aspect received the highest weight, followed by the pedagogical, personal, and social aspects. The lecturer with the best performance (Alternative A2) recorded the highest evaluation score of 4.44, indicating excellence across all evaluated aspects. This study concludes that MFEP is an effective method for providing objective and holistic lecturer performance assessments. Therefore, this method can give lecturers constructive feedback and improve teaching quality. The study recommends applying MFEP at other higher education institutions to ensure the method's consistency and accuracy in various educational contexts.

Abstract

The 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election generated various responses on X Twitter platform related to the Quick Count. The large number of diverse opinions makes identifying and categorizing sentiments difficult. This study aims to evaluate the accuracy of the Naive Bayes method with TF-IDF weighting in text classification regarding the Quick Count of the 2024 Presidential Election on X Twitter. Data was obtained through crawling, resulting in 2113 tweets, which experts in data labelling then labelled. The preprocessing stage includes case folding, cleansing, stopword removal, and stemming. Words are weighted using TF-IDF, and then the data is divided into 80% for training and 20% for testing. Text classification using the Naive Bayes algorithm achieved an accuracy of 74.46%, indicating a pretty good accuracy in classifying text related to the 2024 Presidential Election Quick Count on X Twitter.

Abstract

Technology, especially smartphones, has become essential to daily life, providing quick access to various services and information. However, the Library and Archive Service of Samarinda City still uses manual member registration, which could be more efficient and time-consuming. This research addresses this issue by developing an Android-based library membership registration application using Flutter, Laravel, and MySQL. The Waterfall method and UML diagrams are used to structure the development process and model the system. The resulting application allows prospective members to register online, streamlines the registration process, and reduces the administrative burden on staff. A book search feature is also included, enabling members to check availability remotely. This saves time and reduces unnecessary visits to the library, improving user experience and overall library efficiency. Survey results show a high level of satisfaction, with an average percentage of 83%, indicating that most respondents agree with implementing this system.

Abstract

Electronic voting (e-voting) uses electronic devices to simplify the voting process, enabling quick selection, vote tabulation, and real-time access to information. Traditional voting methods have various drawbacks, such as high costs, risk of human error, lengthy counting processes, and vulnerability to fraud. Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT) also faces similar challenges in its internal organizational elections. The e-voting system is designed to overcome these obstacles by enhancing efficiency and transparency and reducing errors through an accurate audit trail. This study aims to develop a web-based e-voting application that can address the problems associated with traditional voting methods. The application is developed using Python, the programming language of the Django framework, and MySQL for database management. The development method employed is the Waterfall model, which provides a clear structure and project schedule. The research results indicate that the black box testing of this application was successful. Furthermore, testing using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) shows that the Web-Based E-voting Application System has an average percentage score of 91%, indicating that most respondents agree or strongly agree with using this system. Thus, this e-voting system is expected to increase voter participation, reduce operational costs, and ensure that every vote is counted accurately while addressing the various issues faced by traditional voting methods.

Abstract

Indonesia has a rich culinary cultural heritage, including traditional Betawi cuisine. However, this culinary heritage is increasingly being eroded among the younger generation. This research aims to develop a mobile application named FoodARound that uses markerless Augmented Reality (AR) technology to introduce traditional Betawi food to a broader audience. The application visualizes 3D objects of foods such as kerak telor, kue cucur, and selendang mayang, and provides information on the ingredients and how to make them. A prototyping method was used in the development of the application, including needs analysis, prototype creation, prototype evaluation, and implementation. Unity and Vuforia were used as the AR application development platforms, while Firebase Realtime Database was integrated to store food data. Black box testing was conducted to validate the functionality of the application. The research results show that the FoodARound application was successfully developed and can be used as an interactive medium to introduce traditional Betawi food to the public, especially the younger generation. AR technology provides an engaging experience for learning about local culinary heritage. This research highlights the importance of technological innovation in preserving culture and traditional culinary education.

Abstract

An information system integrates data transformed and managed into good, clear and useful information for its users. Designing a system requires processes and data that will be determined by the design. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standard language widely used in the industrial world in graphical modelling, which aims to analyze, visualize and explain how a system works. This research focuses on designing payment and managing finance information systems at ARC Group (PT. An cipta Wisata Riau branch). The main objective is to simplify the ordering, payment, and financial management process, which is done manually. The design of this system will make it easier for customers to order tour services and make payments. It will make it easier for administrators to manage finances at ARC Group (PT. An cipta Wisata Riau branch). This research uses a linear sequential method (waterfall) for system development, using HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and Visual Studio Code text editor for database management and includes rigorous testing to ensure quality. The expected result is an effective and easy-to-use system to support the operational activities of ARC Group (PT. An cipta Wisata Riau branch).

Abstract

This journal discusses the influence of Shopee Ads on purchase decisions at the Obayito Group Store. As a digital advertising service provided by Shopee, Shopee Ads enables sellers to promote their products to potential buyers. The research employs a quantitative method with secondary data analysis based on the sales data of the Obayito Group Store before and after the implementation of Shopee Ads. This study shows that Shopee Ads positively and significantly impact purchasing decisions, consumer trust, and consumer loyalty at Obayito Group Stores. Data analysis shows that consumers exposed to Shopee Ads are more likely to make purchases, have a higher level of trust in the store, and tend to remain loyal to shop at Obayito Group Stores. The evaluation results show that Shopee Ads effectively increase sales, which is essential in building store credibility and reputation and improving customer loyalty. The implications of this study provide practical suggestions for Obayito Group Stores to optimize Shopee Ads advertising campaigns. At the same time, Shopee can continue to improve its ads platform to provide better services to sellers. As such, Shopee Ads emerges as a strategic marketing tool to achieve the marketing obje      ctives of Obayito Group Stores.

Abstract

Information Security is essential for organizations and companies in the current digital transformation era. As a technology-oriented education, Pesantren Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (PeTIK) Jombang requires a reliable security system, considering the increasing security risks. This research proposes the implementation of Wazuh as a Security Information And Event Management (SIEM) integrated with Telegram Bot for real-time system security detection and analysis. Wazuh was chosen because it has advantages in log management, ease of use, and strong community support. This research describes the implementation process of Wazuh, incident log visualization, and integration with Telegram Bot as an alert system. It tests attacks such as Bruteforce, DoS Attack (SYN Flood), and SQL Injection, showing that Wazuh effectively detects and responds to potential threats. Log visualization provides benefits in terms of efficiency and effectiveness in handling security incidents. In addition, Wazuh's integration with Telegram can provide notifications via Telegram Bot in real-time. This research also involves performance testing by monitoring the CPU and memory of the Wazuh server, and results show that the CPU and memory are still within normal limits when an attack occurs.

Abstract

ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok is an educational institution that prepares generations for the world of work. Currently, ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok still uses a manual system in the academic data collection process so that the process takes a long time and is inefficient by having to enter data one by one. Therefore, a system is needed that can manage academic data for ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok. In building the SISKA ASSALAM application, the data collection stage is carried out through observation and interviews with ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok. At the design stage, using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design the end user. At the development stage, using the R&D development method. Then, for the testing method on the application, using two methods, namely Black-Box Testing and Usability Testing. Based on the test results using Black-Box Testing, the results were 100%. For testing using Usability Testing by filling out questionnaires from 9 respondents, the results were 96%. These results indicate that the SISKA ASSALAM application that was designed has been in accordance with the needs required by ASSALAM Vocational High School Depok.

Abstract

Tuberculosis or TB is a disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, which has a high transmission level. TB disease can be diagnosed through several methods, namely, using sputum samples and using x-ray scans. However, both methods take a long time to detect. Therefore, a detection system is needed to detect TB disease quickly and can be done by anyone. This research creates a detection system that can detect TB disease through chest x-ray images. The detection system is a web-based application built using the Laravel framework and a machine learning model with the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method for X-ray image analysis. This research will apply the CNN model that has been made into a web-based application through an API created using the FastAPI framework. The results of research on the detection system show that the detection system can detect TB disease. Proven by the results of testing conducted using the black box testing method, the test results show that the test success rate is 87%. In addition, the machine learning model with the CNN method can also provide classification on x-ray images well, where an accuracy of 93% is obtained on training data and 85% on test data.
