Abstract

This research aims to find out the needs of information systems, the development of academic information systems, academic information system performance and the implementation of Information Systems at Sma Negeri 3 Putra Bangsa Lhoksukon to help the performance of teachers and employees in improving the quality of services. The method used in this research is the research and development method. The data collection technique in this study uses questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques are performed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. This research was conducted at Sma Negeri 3 Putra Bangsa Lhoksukon by involving teachers and employees as research subjects. The results showed that: Schools need an information system that is able to accommodate all school data. Information Systems developed in the form of Academic Information Systems. The system has eight main menus, namely teacher data, student data, employee data, school inventory, correspondence, lesson schedules, schedules, teachers and room dawal. The development of information systems through four stages, namely needs analysis, design, coding and testing. Academic Information System performance testing that has been developed gets a rating percentage of 86.81%. The value shows that the information system that has been developed is very good and worth using. The development of the Academic Information System of Sma Negeri 3 Putra Bangsa Lhoksukon is highly approved because it affects the quality of school services. This is evidenced by the 86.33% percentage of system functionality testing. So it can be concluded that the Academic Information System at Sma Negeri 3 Putra Bangsa Lhoksukon that has been developed is worth using

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the behavior and patterns of human life today. The application of health protocols, for example, which changes the conventional work style to a less contact style. The application of the less contact concept during the Covid-19 pandemic implemented an information system that could connect the entities involved and facilitate data management. This study discusses the process of developing information systems, especially web-based information systems which have been built using pure web programming languages ​​such as PHP. This study will also discuss the effectiveness and efficiency of the system development process using the MVC (Model, View and Controller) model. The research method used is an experimental approach with a standard data collection model which includes literature study, interviews, and observation. The system development method used is a prototype development model that is in accordance with the MVC model where the back-end and front-end sides can be done separately. The results obtained from this study are the MVC model used in the process of developing an information system with a case study of developing a new student admissions information system that can be carried out effectively and efficiently

Abstract

Information is data that is presented in a more useful form that is used to make decisions. In the Information Systems Study Program, information is very important to improve the performance of the Study Program, but the problem that often occurs is the lack of services to obtain and convey information, this makes it difficult for students and lecturers to find out the latest information and information about academics. Therefore, we need an application that can be used by students and lecturers to obtain and convey information. The information displayed is in the form of student and lecturer profile information, information about final project students, practical work students, real work college students, lecture schedule information and teaching schedules as well as information that can be added by lecturers in the application which can later be seen by all users. This android-based mobile programming application was built using the programming language dart. The design tool used is a unified modeling language (UML) with the system development method using the method waterfall. With this application, the Study Program has more effective information media and can assist students and lecturers in obtaining and conveying information easily anytime and anywhere
