Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stres merupakan respons alami tubuh dan jiwa seseorang ketika mengalami tekanan dari lingkungan, akibat tubuh akan melepaskan hormon adrenalin dan memicu jantung untuk bekerja lebih cepat dan kuat sehingga tekanan darah akan meningkat yang dapat mengakibatkan tekanan darah tinggi. penderita hipertensi akan kondisi hipertensinya karena disebabkan oleh aktivasi sistem saraf simpatis yang mengakibatkan peningkatan tekanan yang intermiten dan tidak menentu. Selama ini manajemen stres dapat dilakukan oleh perawat dengan menggunakan metode farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis. Sedangkan farmakologi dengan obat tidur cara non farmakologi adalah dengan menggunakan teknik aromaterapi. Objektif:Tujuan dari tinjauan pustaka ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aromaterapi terhadap stres pada pasien hipertensi. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan menggunakan sumber data base Google Scholar, PubMed dan Garuda dengan kata kunci aromaterapi, stres dan hipertensi dengan rentang waktu maksimal 10 tahun (2012-2022). Hasil: Hasil analisis kedua artikel ditemukan jenis aromaterapi yang digunakan untuk semua jenis aromaterapi. sebagian besar responden mengalami tingkat stres yang tinggi sebelum melakukan aromaterapi dan setelah melakukan aromaterapi tingkat stres pasien hipertensi menurun. Kesimpulan: Teknik aromaterapi berpengaruh terhadap penurunan tingkat stres pada pasien hipertensi.

Abstract

Antioxidants with large enough amounts can lower blood cholesterol levels where antioxidants are rich in vitamin C and can help lower cholesterol levels. A fruit with a high concentration of vitamin C, namely the guava fruit (Psidium guajava) has 183.5 mg of vitamin C per 100 grams. In addition, flavonoids and pectins are also found in the red guava. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the impact of guava juice to reduce cholesterol levels. This research method is by measuring/ assessing total cholesterol levels before (Pre-test) and after action (Post - test). The results of the study found that the cholesterol level before being given guava juice was 238 mg / dl and after 14 days Mrs. S's cholesterol level dropped to 202 mg/ dl. So after 14 days of action on Mrs.S, there was a change between the pre and post intervention of guava juice. Keywords: Antioxidants, Total Cholesterol Levels, Guava Juice

Abstract

3,4-dimethoxychalcone (3,4-DMT) is a chalcone derivative can be used as a UVA-protection agent but its insolubility in water (log-P 3.84). Therefore, an appropriate delivery system is needed that can increase the solubility and transport of 3.4 DMT through the skin layer. The nanocream formulation was chosen to make chemical sunscreen preparations suitable for water insoluble ingredients. This study aims to obtain the optimal composition of 3,4-DMT in a nanocream formula. Nanocream formulation was carried out using the simplex lattice design method. VCO was used as the oil phase with a mixture of tween 80 and span 80 (Smix) which was mixed using a high-energy-emulsification method. Physical test of nanocream such as pH, spreadibility, viscosity, adhesion, freeze thaw showed result good result and particle size > 200 nm, zeta potential ± 30 mV, PDI < 1; drug content 94.02%-94.90%. Data analysis for all measurements used ANOVA statistical analysis.
