Abstract

Objective: Most EFL students need help to develop their speaking abilities. Due to their limited vocabulary, poor grammar, and lack of confidence, they could not practice speaking. Ten students from the English Department joined a study group to address these obstacles. Method: The procedure was carried out online. The teacher created a WhatsApp group as the initial class medium. He added to the vocabulary development and grammar education on the screen. The students studied the material on a video podcast to retell to meet the comprehension criteria, synchronizing their inputs with real life. They then describe a picture to hone their communication skills. They also transcript their story in order to make the spoken and written versions of it coincide. Results: After following the teacher's instructions to build sentences using the lexico-grammar technique, students can identify the grammatical conventions used in podcasts. They can adequately narrate pictures thanks to this type of learning. Their increased confidence fosters mature dialogue. The students' delivery will become more fluid due to the novelty of learning sentence construction through lexico-grammatical techniques and synchronizing it to podcast material. They acquired the ability to apply vocabulary and grammar norms contextually. It was evident from the way they described the images. To fit the needs of their students in the classroom, teachers might change them. It also encourages other researchers to continue their observations.

Abstract

Objective: The use of interactive media to understand the concept of material is a stimulation of the integration of all the senses in students, where the media will provide freedom to explore the material that is available in it freely, utilizing several unique features in Microsoft PowerPoint which the researchers then turned into an interactive learning tool for students, in its implementation students will be presented with learning media that integrates audio, video and visual components. Method: This research uses quantitative research with experimental methods. The population in this study was class VI students as experimental class research and VI B students as control class research, with a sample of class VI C students totaling 30 students for each sample on geographical characteristics and life in the ASEAN region. Results: This research produced media products in the form of interactive comics, which are proven to be able to increase students' conceptual understanding of material on geographical characteristics and life in the ASEAN region, as proven by the results of data processing using which proves that there is a significant influence. Novelty: There is a significant impact of the development of Digital Comic Interactive Media on Students' Conceptual Understanding of Elementary school is seen from the pretest and post-test results, which show that Ho is rejected and Hα is accepted. By rejecting Ho, it means that in this research, it is proven that the conceptual understanding of students who are given action is significantly different.

Abstract

Objective: In the era of global society 5.0, people worldwide are faced with demands to keep pace with the development of technology and knowledge by developing their "hard skills" and "soft skills." Ever-evolving technologies are utilized to achieve this goal. One example of its implementation in education is the use of websites in science learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of learning websites in improving student achievement. Method: Using the systematic literature review method, the research collects and analyzes twenty articles related to learning websites. Result: The results of the twenty journals showed that the use of website media has a positive impact on improving student achievement in the context of science learning. This reflects the critical role of technology in education in the era of global society 5.0. There has been a significant increase in minimum score achievement and student satisfaction with learning. Using the website allows students to learn efficiently and flexibly anywhere. This indicates that learning websites effectively aid students' comprehension of the material, motivate them to learn, and foster interest in learning. Novelty: The website learning media must continue to be developed. In the era of a global society, 5.0 technology in education is essential. This is based on an analysis of the data obtained regarding the use of website media for science learning.

Abstract

Objective: In the 21st century, critical and creative thinking skills must be nurtured and grown from elementary school. The way to improve this ability can be done by utilizing Mathematics subjects but with a realistic approach that allows students to immediately learn critically and creatively according to the context of everyday life so that students can think organized and creatively in their lives, not limited to subjects. One way to facilitate the learning objectives of Mathematics with a Realistic Approach is to utilize e-comic learning media that allows students to see the context of the lesson using their visual abilities. Method: This research uses literature studies by searching relevant journals, books, and articles using the Publish or Perish application. Results: The study showed that e-comics improved students' critical thinking skills and creativity. In addition, researchers also found that several factors make mathematics learning with a realistic approach that utilizes e-comics efficient, as well as steps to conduct mathematics learning with a realistic approach that utilizes e-comic learning media. Novelty: This research uses an innovative and creative approach to improving students' critical and creative thinking skills through Mathematics learning using e-comic learning media.
