The pandemic known as the COVID-19 brought global issues in the economy, environment, government, health, technology, and education. In the aftermath, schools around the world have been closed to control the spread of the disease that directly impacted the students, educators, and academic institutions that caused sudden disruptions to all stakeholders particularly on students. This paper explores the coping mechanisms of the senior high school learners during the disruptions at Goshen School of Technology and Humanities using a single case study. This research approach facilitates exploration of the phenomena within its context using Robert Yin's approach in the data analysis procedure to establish rigors of the research. Themes came out from the constructs of interviewees like senior high school learners who experienced anxiety, fear, mental health issues, technological, and social isolation; Covid-19 Pandemic affects the biological, psychological, and social aspects of the learners, and positive mindset, worthwhile activities, family and friends support, and daily routine are good coping strategies. The output of this study is the proposed new coping mechanism model to help the learners cope with their studies during the disruptions.

COVID-19 had a strong impact on our economy, government, health care, and particularly on the education system. This study explored the lived experiences of Senior High School learners enrolled at Goshen School during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study applied Collaizzi’s Method in the data analysis and interpretations to identify meaningful information and organize it into themes. Themes that came out from the narratives of the participants were: They experienced issues on their learning modality, financial, technological, mental health, and lifestyle issues; Covid-19 Pandemic affects the personal, social, mental, and academic performances of the senior high school learners, and needed support system from family, peers, school, and community. The output of this study is a proposed model for senior high school learners during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The study aims to evaluate the effect of different levels of wood vinegar as a nutrient availability enhancer in eggplant. The treatments used in the study were Treatment 1 (No application of wood vinegar), Treatment 2 (0.5% of wood vinegar), Treatment 3 (0.67% of wood vinegar), and Treatment 4 (1% of wood vinegar). Based on the study results, the average height of plants showed a significant difference among the treatments. The other parameters, average growth increment, average stem diameter, average number of days to flower initiation, the average length of fruits, and an average weight of fruits, showed high significance among treatments. The result was supported by LSD that showed significant differences in control and among the treatments. Therefore, the application of Treatment 4 is the recommended ratio in eggplant production. Hence, researchable areas need to be addressed, such as evaluating the continuous use of wood vinegar in eggplant production, and challenge literature stating that wood vinegar should be stopped one week before harvesting. Additional research on time and level of wood vinegar for insect control is recommended.

Nowadays, information systems such as the Agile model can adapt to the structures and processes of smart organizations, particularly SMEs. The faster an information technology company adopts risk management-based Agile in a work environment, the higher its performance and energy efficiency. To maximize the value generated by agile decision-makers or managers, SMEs must have the capability and willingness to adopt new risk management-based technology models. Additionally, the study identifies a gap in the use of the Agile Model to influence the success of SME projects in the Middle East region's SMEs (, UAE, KSA, Oman, Egypt, Iraq, and Qatar). The study is aimed at SMEs in the electronics and energy sectors, as well as IT businesses and big data projects, with the goal of encouraging them to adopt an Agile model. This study was characterized positively in numerous ways, including the adoption of technology in the workplace to accommodate abrupt changes in energy management schemes and various government policies promoting energy conservation. Additionally, employee training and adaptability in dealing with programs that can affect the process help accomplish the objectives. Restructuring medium and small businesses to improve their energy management and overall performance.

Internal control plays a vital role in both private and public sectors. It is considered as one of the strategic tools in improving the operations and performance of an organization that will lead to the attainment of organizational goal and objectives. The main objective of the study was to determine the impact of control activities to the Municipality of Plaridel, Bulacan in complying with the good governance criteria. An assessment was conducted to determine the extent of control activities’ implementation in the organization to come up with the recommended measures for its further improvement. The study was based on a descriptive research design involving quantitative approach. Data gathered have been processed statistically using the SPSS by the Centro Escolar University Data Processing Center, and presented using the mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation analysis. The overall analysis revealed that the relationship between the extent of implementation and perceived impact of control activities to the Municipality in complying with the good governance criteria has a very significant relationship rating. Findings also showed that the existing implementation of control activities in the municipality can be further improved using the recommended measures focused on the following: Revisiting and Revising the existing policies and procedures, Strengthening the top Management’s functions, and Continuous professional development. It can be concluded that the implementation of control activities in the Municipality can improve the operations, and can contribute to the compliance with the Seal of Good Local Governance Criteria - financial administration aspect.

This paper reports a relation between personality and academic achievement in geography subject at secondary level in which sample size is 170 from secondary school of Howrah district. A survey questionnaire was used to gather data. Result reflects that Academic achievement was significantly positive correlated with Extraversion vs. Introversion, Agreeableness vs. Antagonism, Conscientiousness vs. Lack of direction, Neuroticism vs. Emotional stability, and Openness vs. Closedness to experience.

The K-12 curriculum brought a significant change in Social Studies/ Araling Panlipunan curriculum at the Basic Education level, but much still must be done to introduce relevant topics in history and culture following local contexts. As such, local historians and educators pursued its relevance to studying local history, particularly with the Kasaysayang Lokal (KASALO) ng Pampanga, to embark to the mind of todays' learners the local history of their pace. With this, the study aimed to assess the local awareness of Junior High School students and its correlation to their appreciation of cultural heritage. The study utilized descriptive-correlational research designed that aims to determine the relationship of the variables. The respondents of the study consisted of 281Junior High School students chosen through a simple random sampling technique. The results revealed that the students exhibited a slight awareness of their local history. Moreover, they have generally agreed to school-based initiatives to nurture cultural heritage appreciation. The Pearson-r correlation analysis revealed that the student's knowledge of KASALO did not significantly correlate to their appreciation of Kapampangan's local cultural heritage. The implications underlined the need for teachers to introduce more novel ways to integrate topics in local history in the AP classroom and strengthen local studies centers to promote the study of local history for the future.

Covid-19 impacted all sectors of the country particularly the education sector. Schools have no choice but to shut their operations from brick and mortar to flexible learning mode. This study intends to determine the lived experiences, the issues they have encountered, the support needed, and the gaps and challenges they are facing. This study utilized interviews, observations and used Collaizi's method in the data processing and analysis (cited in Sander, 2003, and Speziale & Carpenter, 2007). The themes that came out from the constructs of the interviewees were Learners under online learning mode encountered internet connectivity issues, inadequate learning tools for online, psychological issues, and physical health issues. The output of this paper is the proposed model for learners under online the learning.

Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education has been implemented since 2008 at Olongapo City National High School (OCNHS) as part of the Madrasah Education Program for our Filipino Muslim learners. This study aimed to assess the implementation of Madrasah Education Program in a national high school and to propose an action plan. A quantitative-descriptive research design was used in the study. A survey questionnaire was answered by six (6) teachers and (1) head teacher. Respondents were chosen using purposive sampling technique. Based on the findings of the study: 1) teachers have competence on knowledge, attitude and skills, 2) school facilities provide a conducive room for learning, 3) instructional materials were updated, 4) there is no enough support from LGU and 5) DepEd properly monitors and supports the program. Teachers’ competence, school facilities, instructional materials and DepEd support are present already but the school can still innovate to reach greater heights. On the other hand, LGU support should also be sought to further involve all stakeholders in the development of the program. It is hereby recommended that the action plan devised to address the findings of the study be implemented as part of the Improvement Plan of the ALIVE Program of OCNHS.

This comparative analysis on the Mean Percentage Scores (MPS) results of senior high school classes for Quarters I, II, and III was a good practice that can be emulated by educators in order to give meaning to the data. MPS is not for compilation only. It must be used for decision making in lesson delivery enhancements, learning resources utilization and school improvement plan and adjustment. The design used was descriptive research. This is a comparative analysis of the results of Quarterly Assessments of senior high school classes in a public school in Leyte with the sample of five sections determined by stratified sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Mean, standard deviation, dependent sample t-test, independent sample t-test, two-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and thematic analysis of interviews of subject teachers. Descriptive study is scientific research that methodically deals with a certain region or population and characterizes an occurrence, phenomenon, or fact (Modato, 2017). Based from interviews and document analysis, extracurricular activities, socio-cultural involvements, the difficulty of learning competences, and examination schedules and the school calendar in general all had an influence on students' performance. In addition, test structures, test layout, and clear directions and instructions have an impact on test results.
