Pacifiers are a safe and effective method that can provide comfort to newborns, especially when feeling sick. Neonatal babies born in the first 28 days often experience pain when undergoing treatment and treatment procedures, one of which is blood sampling. The use of non-nutritive sucking is very effective in reducing neonatal pain during invasive procedures or heel piercing. The research design used is quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 2 groups, namely the control group without intervention totaling 30 infants and the NNS intervention group totaling 30 infants. Data analysis technique using Independent sample t test. The results showed that the value of equal variances assumed is known as the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the baby's NIPS scale by giving pacifier intervention to the baby during venous blood collection at the hospital. Lavalette.

The evaluation of the performance of nurses in hospitals should take into account the crucial factor of job satisfaction. Motivation has the potential to influence job satisfaction. The objective of this study was to ascertain the relationship between work motivation and job satisfaction among nurses at the Central Surgical Installation of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang. The research design employed was that of a correlational study, examining the relationship between variables. The cross-sectional approach was utilised. The study population comprised all nurses employed at the Central Surgical Installation Room (IBS) of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang, amounting to a total of 72 nurses. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula and consisted of 42 nurses. The sampling technique employed was quota sampling. The data were collected via a questionnaire. The results demonstrated that the Somers' D correlation coefficient was 0.222, thereby accepting H1 (p-value <0.05). The Somers correlation coefficient is positive, indicating that as motivation increases, job satisfaction among nurses in the Central Surgical Installation of Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang also rises. In light of the findings, it is recommended that the hospital implement strategies to enhance the motivation of nurses. One potential approach is the introduction of work motivation improvement programmes, such as refresher courses, to facilitate mutual understanding between superiors, subordinates, and colleagues. This could potentially lead to an improved work environment, greater job satisfaction, and enhanced job performance.

Introduction: The group of hand-rolled cigarette factory workers is a work group that is at risk of experiencing menstrual disorders. Excessive working time can cause employees to feel tired. Irregular menstrual cycles are a hormonal imbalance in the reproductive system between the hormones estrogen and progesterone. Objectives: The aim of this research is to investigate the connection between working duration and the menstrual cycle Methods: This study was based on a quantitative approach and used a cross-sectional design. Data were gathered through questionnaires from two groups: one group consisting of 37 cigarette factory workers and another group of 38 non-cigarette factory workers. The data were collected using a purposive sampling technique. In this study, work duration was the independent variable, and menstrual disorders were the dependent variable. A Chi-Square statistical test was performed to examine the relationship between these variables, with a significance level of <ɑ 0.05. Results: The outcomes of the statistical analysis indicated that in the factory worker group, the p-value was 0.000 < ɑ (0.05). The majority of respondents who did not experience menstrual disorders had a long duration of work, with a proportion of 96%, which was higher than those with a medium duration of work. Meanwhile, in the non-factory worker group, the p-value was 0.718 > ɑ (0.05). Most respondents who did not experience menstrual disorders had a light work duration, with a proportion of 86%, which was higher than those who experienced menstrual disorders due to moderate work duration. Conclusions: A significant association exists between work duration and menstrual disorders.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of finger grasping relaxation technique on reducing pain intensity in postoperative patients in Arafat Room III RSI Assyifa Sukabumi City. Using a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, this study involved 18 respondents selected through inclusion and exclusion criteria. Finger grasping relaxation technique, a simple non-pharmacological method, was performed to reduce pain by grasping fingers alternately for 3-5 minutes. The results of the analysis showed that the pain level of patients before the intervention was dominated by the moderate pain category (72.2%), while after the intervention the majority of patients experienced mild pain (66.7%). Statistically, there was a significant decrease in patients' pain levels, with a p value <0.05 based on the paired sample t-test. The mean pain level before the intervention was 4.16, decreasing to 3.00 after the intervention, showing a mean difference of 1.16. This study supports the effectiveness of the finger grasp relaxation technique as a supportive therapy to reduce postoperative pain. This technique stimulates the release of endorphins that inhibit pain signals, promote relaxation, and reduce physical and emotional stress. These results are consistent with previous studies showing significant benefits of this technique in reducing pain intensity. In conclusion, finger grasp relaxation is an effective, safe, and easy-to-implement method as a non-pharmacological therapy to help with postoperative pain management, and can be used as an alternative or companion to pharmacological therapy. This study makes a significant contribution to nursing practice, particularly in pain management.

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between community beliefs and the use of traditional medicine in the working area of Karang Tengah Health Center, Sukabumi. This study used a quantitative research design with correlational analytic method and cross-sectional approach. A total of 99 respondents were selected using accidental sampling technique from a population of 20,790. Primary data were collected through a questionnaire that evaluated the community's belief in traditional medicine as well as the frequency of its use, while secondary data were obtained from the annual report of the puskesmas and official sources of the Ministry of Health. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test to measure the relationship between variables. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a high level of trust in traditional medicine (43.4%) and most used traditional medicine at a moderate level (44.4%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant association between the level of trust and the use of traditional medicine with a p value of <0.05. Factors such as bad experiences with modern medicine, socio-cultural influences, and more affordable costs encourage people to choose traditional medicine. This study concludes that people's trust significantly influences their decision to use traditional medicine. These results are expected to contribute to the development of more inclusive health policies by effectively integrating traditional and modern medicine

Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mites that infest a person. The disease often occurs in places with high density and poor sanitation, such as in boarding schools. Poor knowledge about hygiene, poor hygiene care, and unfavorable environmental conditions, such as lack of access to sanitation, are the main risk factors for scabies. The purpose of this study was to see how santri's knowledge of scabies, personal hygiene care, and scabies cases in Pesantren Azzainiyyah Sukabumi correlate with each other. This study utilized a descriptive correlative design and cross-sectional technique. The systematic method of random sampling consisted of 62 students. Data were collected through questionnaires containing variables of knowledge about scabies, personal sanitation, and scabies cases. Chi-Square test was used to analyze univariate and bivariate data. The result of P value obtained from chi Square test for asymp sig. (2-sided) is 0.000. This value shows the result of p,0.05 and means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the relationship between santri knowledge about scabies and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies. It can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the level of knowledge of students about scabies and personal hygiene habits with the number of scabies cases that occur in Pesantren Azzainiyyah Sukabumi. Lack of knowledge and poor personal hygiene habits increase the likelihood of getting scabies. It is recommended for pesantren managers to provide regular health education on the importance of personal hygiene and scabies prevention.
