Abstract

This study aims to find out how to forecast and predict the number of sales of freight forwarding services at PT Samudera Naga Global. This research was conducted using autoregression and exponential smoothing methods. The author conducts research on companies engaged in the transportation of goods that manage all or part of the activities related to the delivery and receipt of goods through transportation routes. The results of the research were carried out using two methods, namely autoregression and exponential smoothing by comparing the smallest error rate, indicating the best and most appropriate forecasting method for PT Samudera Naga Global's sales forecasting, namely the autoregression method with a MAD value of $127,428.55, MSE of $22,985. 627,066.65.

Abstract

The aim of this research were investigated bamboo-based activated charcoal (ABT)characteristics using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR). ABT has been successfully synthesized through physico-chemical activation at 700°C with H3PO4 10% solution as activator. The resulted were porous surface structure of bamboo charcoal causes an absorption interaction of pollutants (cations, anions, and suspended solids/TSS) in wastewater. Bamboo charcoal has different physical characteristics from charcoal from other types of raw materials because the structure with lignin composition is different from charcoal from other wood. The spectral patterns of AB and ABT are similar but differ in intensity. The functional groups detected in the two materials are the same, but there are differences in the absorption intensity where the ABT is relatively lower, especially in the hydroxyl functional groups at around 3400 and 1600 cm-1. This decrease in intensity is due to the dehydration process that occurs during both physical and chemical activation processes so that the hydroxyl groups come out of the bamboo charcoal structure

Abstract

This article aims to describe the readiness of the Pacitan Regency Regional Government in facing the Era of Society 5.0. The method used in this paper is a literature review with the steps used in searching for data being selecting a topic, searching for information, determining the focus of the study, collecting data, presenting data, and writing a report. The data sources in this article were obtained from books, scientific articles, news sources, social media, and personal documents. The analytical method used in this research is the meta-synthesis analysis method which is carried out by summarizing the results of previous research which are in accordance with the research theme using narrative techniques after a selection and extraction process has been carried out on the search results. The conclusion in this paper is that local governments are required to move to technology as a basis for the services provided to the community in various activities. Changes must be made by the government even though the readiness of the existing apparatus is not yet completely ready. The existence of the Wadule Pacitan application is an example of the changes that have occurred in government innovation services in supporting e-government in Pacitan Regency.

Abstract

Adequate protein intake is essential for health and well-being at all ages. In children, adequate protein intake is essential for growth and development. In adults, adequate protein intake helps maintain lean body mass and prevents age-related loss of skeletal muscle mass. An athlete is required to always maintain physical fitness. Fitness is one indicator to determine a person's level of health, especially for an athlete. The fitter a person is, the healthier that person is. This study aims to analyze the relationship between adequate levels of macronutrients and fitness in badminton athletes. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a cross-sectional research design and a sample of 32 athletes. Data was obtained via online Google form, namely data on carbohydrate, protein and fat intake with 3x24 hour food records via the IPAQ questionnaire sheet. Data analysis used the Spearman Rank Correlation test. as many as 28 (87.5%) respondents had insufficient levels of carbohydrate sufficiency, and as many as 31 (96.9%) respondents had sufficient levels of protein which was more as well as adequate levels of fat. 31 (96.9%) respondents had sufficient levels of fat. which is excessive. And it is known that as many as 25 (78.1%) respondents were fit. There was no significant relationship with all research variables (p≥0.05). The conclusion of this study shows that there is no relationship between adequate levels of carbohydrates, adequate levels of protein, adequate levels of fat on athlete fitness (p ≥ 0.05). There is no significant relationship between the level of macronutrient adequacy and the fitness of badminton athletes

Abstract

Work accidents in healthcare facilities, such as community health centers (Puskesmas), pose a serious problem that affects the safety and well-being of healthcare workers. This study aims to evaluate the impact of occupational safety awareness programs on reducing the incidence of work accidents at Puskesmas Klari, Karawang. The research uses a quantitative approach with an analytical survey design, involving 50 healthcare workers as respondents using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analysed using logistic regression to determine the impact of safety awareness on the occurrence of work accidents. The results show that safety awareness programs significantly influence the increase in healthcare workers' awareness, which is followed by a decrease in work accident rates. The "Aware" group saw a 30% increase in awareness after training, and this group experienced a 20% reduction in work accident incidents. The "Somewhat Aware" group also showed a 15% increase in awareness and a 20% decrease in incidents. However, the "Unaware" and "No Response" groups demonstrated lower improvements in awareness and reductions in incidents, with increases of only 5% and 10%, respectively. This indicates that the current awareness programs are still not fully effective for groups with low awareness or those who are apathetic. The conclusion of this study is that comprehensive and continuous occupational safety awareness programs can increase awareness and reduce the incidence of work accidents at Puskesmas Klari. However, developing more varied training programs tailored to the specific needs of healthcare workers is necessary to achieve optimal effectiveness. Evidence-based and participatory safety policies also need to be implemented to strengthen workplace safety practices. This study provides significant contributions to developing occupational safety policies in healthcare facilities in Indonesia

Abstract

The correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an essential measure in preventing nosocomial infections within healthcare facilities. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions on the proper application of PPE in improving compliance among healthcare workers in the HIV and TB clinics at the Klari Subdistrict Health Center, Karawang Regency. A quasi-experimental method was employed, utilizing a pretest-posttest design with a control group. A total of 30 healthcare workers were included as the study sample, divided into experimental and control groups. The educational intervention was conducted over two days, involving intensive training, simulations, and discussion sessions. The study results showed a significant increase in PPE compliance in the group that received the educational intervention, from 40% before the intervention to 60% afterward. Additionally, the proportion of healthcare workers with partial non-compliance decreased from 35% to 25%, while those who did not use PPE at all decreased from 25% to 15%. These findings highlight the importance of structured and continuous education in raising awareness and compliance among healthcare workers regarding PPE use, as well as the role of supervision and adequate PPE availability in maintaining consistent adherence to safety protocols. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the Health Office and other healthcare institutions in developing policies to improve occupational safety for healthcare workers
