DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. DE_JOURNAL merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, gagasan atau inovasi pada bidang ilmu pendidikan. Gagasan yang berasal dari para peneliti yang berada pada sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in lower-grade learning at SD Negeri 5 Nongan. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with 5 third-grade students as subjects, and data were collected through interviews and observations. Data analysis was conducted descriptively. Findings indicate that teachers encounter difficulties such as low student concentration and motivation, differences in reading and writing skills, and limited teaching resources and media. To address these challenges, teachers apply persuasive approaches, concrete media and educational games, as well as active and enjoyable learning methods, adapted to students’ concrete operational development stage. The study emphasizes the importance of teachers’ ability to manage classrooms, adjust strategies, and innovate in media use to enhance learning outcomes. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers and schools to improve learning effectiveness in lower grades.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of digital-based learning tools in improving teachers' pedagogical competence. This research is a development research with the ADDIE approach. The stages carried out in this study are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This study develops digital-based learning tools and measures teachers' pedagogical competence based on the implementation of the development of these learning tools. The initial stage carried out was problem analysis by conducting FGD interviews to determine the digital-based learning tools created by teachers and administering an initial questionnaire on teachers' pedagogical competence. This research was conducted at SDIT Nurul Huda, East Jakarta. The subjects of this study were 10 teachers who teach at SDIT Nurul Huda, East Jakarta. Based on the results of this study, the development of digital-based learning tools can improve teachers' pedagogical competence, this is seen from the results of the t-test of 2.99 > t-table of 0.183. This can also be seen from the increase in the average score of teachers' pedagogical competence at the beginning of the observation, which was 40.90 and the average score of teachers' pedagogical competence after implementation of 57.10.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Android-based learning media for Children's Dance material, which includes wiraga, wirama, wirasa, and floor patterns in the PGPAUD Study Program. The application is designed as an interactive mobile-based media with YouTube video integration as the main source of material, and has a simple, attractive, and user-friendly display. The method used is research and development (R&D) through the stages of needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation. Data were collected through assessment questionnaires from 60 respondents. The validity test using Pearson's correlation showed that all items were valid with values above the r table (0.312), while the reliability test obtained a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.842, indicating high internal consistency. The effectiveness test results through normalized gain (N-gain) showed a value of more than 0.72 in the high category, which indicates a significant increase in student learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest. These findings indicate that the assessment instrument is suitable for use and that the Android-based learning media developed is effective as an alternative to support Children's Dance learning in PGPAUD because it is able to present material concisely, guide practice, and facilitate systematic understanding of dance elements.
