Abstract

This study aims to know significant differences in the competence of speaking skill in Indonesian between groups of students who were taught by role playing learning model aided text dialogue and groups of students who were taught by conventional learning at IV grade Elementary School students of Gugus Budi Utomo academic year of 2017/2018. This research was a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this research is all IV grade Elementary School students of Gugus Budi Utomo, amounting to 315 students. The sample was determined using group sample technique. The sample in this research is the students of IVB grade Elementary School students 6 Kesiman amounting to 31 students as experimental group and IV grade Elementary School students 14 Kesiman amounting to 38 students as control group. The instrument for collecting data is the scoring rubric. The data obtained were analyzed by t-test. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant difference of competence of speaking skill in Indonesian between group of students who were taught by role playinglearning model aided text dialogue and groups of students who were taught by conventional learning at IV grade Elementary School students of Gugus Budi Utomo academic year of 2017/2018. This is evidenced by the result = 3,81 > = 2,00 at 5% significance level and dk = 67. The average score competence of speaking skill in Indonesian experimental group = 85,00 >= 76,45 control group. It can be concluded that there is influence of role playing learning model aided text dialogue to competence of speaking skill in Indonesian of IV grade Elementary School students of Gugus Budi Utomo academic year of 2017/2018

Abstract

The aims of this research is to know the significant influence learning model of Talking Chips based on lesson study towards the results of learning science of fourth grade students, group IV in Sukawati district, academic year 2017/2018. The design of this research is research of quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design program. The sample of this research is all of the fourth grade students, group IV in Sukawati district as many as 145 students. The sample of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 3 Batubulan Kangin as many as 40 students as experiment group and  the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Batubulan Kangin  as many as 40 students as control group. The data were collected by using objective test in multiple choice. The result of this research shows that the result of learning science by using learning model Talking Chips based on Lesson Study in the good category with average value 81,38 and the result of learning science by using conventional learning in the satisfactory category with average value 71. Based on the result of t-test analysis, there were obtained t value = 5,778 and t table = 1,991 so that t value= 5,778 > t table = 1,991 then Ho is rejected. It proves that there are significant difference in the results of learning science between group students which were taught by using learning model of Talking Chips based on Lesson study compared to the students which were taught by using conventional learning of fourth grade students, group IV in Sukawati district, academic year 2017/2018. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of learning model Talking Chips based on Lesson study, influence the result of learning science of fourth grade students, group IV in Sukawati district, academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference of Fifth grade IPS learning outcomes of elementary school in Gugus II Tejakula Sub-district on even semester of 2017/2018 between group of students who are taught using Course Review Horay learning model with audio visual and group of students who are not taught using Course Review Horay learning model. This research is quasi experiment with non equivalent design post-test only control group design. The population of this study is all Fifth grade of elementary school students in Gugus II Tejakula sub-district academic year 2016/2017 in total of 162 students. The sample in this study is Fifth grade students of SD Negeri 5 Les in total 30 students and Fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Les counted 39 people, determined by random sampling technique. The result was obtained through multiple choice instrument test method which analyzed by using descriptive statistical and inferential statistical test (t-test). The result showed that there was a significant effect of IPS learning outcomes between groups of students who were taught using learning model of Course Reviews Horay helped by audio visual media and group of students who were not taught of using Course Review Horay model, with t-count = 2,384 bigger than t-tab = 1,980. This means that the difference application of learning model can affect the Fifth grade's IPS learning outcomes in Gugus II Tejakula sub-district even semester of academic year 2017/2018. Recommendation for the teachers in improving the Fifth grade's IPS learning outcomes in Sub-district II Tejakula is to use learning model of Course Review Horay assisted by audio visual media.

Abstract

The research was aimed at determining the significant correlation between learning style and learning motivation of the fourth-grade students in Gugus Ubud Elementary School Ubud Sub-district in the academic year 2017/2018. The study used ex-post facto research by using Product Moment correlation technique and multiple-linear regression. The population of this research was all students in the fourth-grade of Gugus Ubud in the academic year 2017/2018 consisting of 205 students. The samples were obtained using proportional random sampling so that 150 students were chosen in this research. The data were collected using non-test method which used the questionnaire of learning style and learning motivation as the instrument. The result of the research was analyzed using descriptive statistic analysis and inferential statistic analysis research by using product moment correlation technique and multiple-linear regression in which the prerequisite tests were normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The analysis shows that: (1) there is the significant correlation between visual learning style and learning motivation in which rx1y = 0,277 and ry1.23 =0,214 >rtable5% = 0,159 as well as effective contribution = 4,9%, (2) there is the significant correlation between the auditory learning style and learning motivation in which rx2y = 0,556 and ry2.13 = 0,509 as well as the effective contribution = 27,4%, (3) there is the significant correlation between the kinesthetic learning style and learning motivation in which rx3y = 0,253 and ry3.12 = 0,168 as well as the effective contribution = 3,5%, (4) simultaneously, there is the significant correlation between the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style and the learning motivation of the four-grade students of in Gugus Ubud Elementary School Ubud Sub-district in the academic year 2017/2018 in which Fcount = 27,186 > Ftable = 2,68 as well as the effective contribution = 35,8%.
